This place is such a gem! Although it is not located in the best place (off a busy highway, next to a gas station, & with limited parking) it is worth checking out. They have everything you'd expect from an Italian pizzeria! They are known for their flamingo sauce which is amazing & a must try but their red sauce is also delicious. Veal flamingo is one of my favorite dishes they offer on the regular menu as well as penne rusticana! The pizzas do not disappoint neither do their wraps, salads, & paninis. The portions are always generous & all the dinners come with your choice of soup or salad. Your food is always served fresh & hot. The service is exceptional. You won't find better. It is family run & they truly treat their customers so well. We go here all the time to dine in, get take out, delivery, or celebrate milestones. We went on a Saturday night with a few friends. It was super busy, but they were able to sit us pretty quick. There menu is pretty extensive, and they also had a menu that had some specials on it too. We ended up getting a large tomato pie and a chicken cheesesteak to split. The tomato pie was decent. It could have had a little more flavor. I just felt something was lacking a little bit. Next time we would like to try just a plain pie to compare. The chicken cheesesteak was really good. Good amount of chicken and cheese. The roll was fresh and held up well with the amount of ketchup we like to put on our sandwiches....lol. Our friends daughter got the children's meatballs and pasta. They said the meatball was good (it looked like a good sized meatball) but they said the pasta sauce tasted like it came from a jar....which it might have since it was for the kids menu...but everything else was very good. My boyfriend and I were looking for a quick and cheap bite before heading to a local brewery. Found this place on yelp and saw all the great reviews so we decided to eat here. We came at an odd hour between lunch and dinner. It was very chill and we were able to choose where to sit. Our server greeted us right away and answered any questions we had. We got the calamari, Margherita pizza, and a side of fries. We though was going to be just enough food to feed us but it ended up being too much haha. The marinara sauce of the pizza was super flavorful with so many spices I wish I could take a jar of it home. Both calamari and fries were hot out the fryer. So much delicious food for a cheap price. Very busy place. The fettuccine with Alfredo sauce and chicken n broccoli is really delicious. Also, the chicken pesto pasta is amazing. They also do half and half pies but not pesto pies. I like they had chicken wings but I ordered two flavors - so instead of packing them separate they put everything in one mixed it up - which turned out really bad. Buffalo chicken pizza was made to order but it's like they put gravy chicken in Buffalo sauce and pour it over the dough. It's was extremely soggy. Taste very bad. Hard to even eat. We have eaten here 2 times. Both times. Chicken RAW!! How do you Not cook chicken Enough?? The issue is that they have so many customers. Ordered takeout (lasagna and buffalo wings) due to COVID 19. When I got home with my food (1.5 miles) I noticed that the lasagna was cold. Not waited too long cold but like refrigeration cold, so I put it on a paper plate (as you can on the photo) and warmed it in the microwave. This is such a bad place if you aren't white or light skinned. I ordered my food with Elise who was very nice and took my order down great. I called back to get confirmation of my meal after I paid for it and Omar answered the phone and he said "why do you need to speak to Elisa! " and hung up on me. Remind you I like their food except I always felt a different vibe. Maybe because I'm black. Idk. I just know I show everyone an open amount of respect. I paid for my food and I wasn't treated right. Have lived in this area for two years now and havent found any local places I really liked, until now. Having driven past it hundreds of times, I decided to check this place out on Super Bowl Sunday after so many people were raving about it on the local facebook page. I have either been back or ordered from them at least five times since. The veal flamingo, flamingo wings, and chicken flamingo pizza are my go to items. I was a bit disappointed in their one calamari and their pasta fagioli soup, but otherwise everything else I have had has been excellent. They're chicken Parm is probably one of their better items. Definitely a safe bet if you don't know what to order, at least out of the pasta. I've never tried their Pizza so there's that. We also ordered the Gnocchi Bolognese which was great for people like me who love a lot of sauce. All their portions are decently large and we generally have leftovers with the pasta. I grew up in Burlington but had never been here until visiting a month or so ago and I was invited to my friend's bridal shower here. The restaurant interior is nice and it seems pretty big. Half of the restaurant was set up for the bridal shower but I could tell on a busy night they could fit a lot of families. There was a limited menu but one of the specials that I believe they're known for was one of the items we were allowed to select - Chicken Flamingo. My family and I just went to Villa Rosa for dinner for the first time. I had originally wanted to get the chicken flamingo after hearing so many great things about it, but once I saw the daily specials menu I decided I wanted to try the risotto flamingo. Boy Oh Boy was it good!!! Way more seafood in it than I expected for the price. The rest of my family didn't get anything crazy. My littlest got pepperoni pizza and ate my salad. My oldest got extra cheese pizza. The size of the slices were fairly large and my oldest raves about how good and cheesy her pizza was. My husband ordered a burger which was nothing extravagant. He also ordered wings. I very much liked the wings as they did not have any breading but we're a little over cooked which made the skin extra crispy and crunchy how I like it. I feel like if they were ordered for take out though they would either be too dry or would be soggy from sitting in sauce. We all did enjoy the bread very much and asked for extra. The service was ok. It was not very busy and the waitress was often BSing with the other customers. This could be a good thing or a bad thing as it is a small restaurant, you want to get to know your clientele but as first time diners, we would have preferred service a bit faster. One other thing that would have made our dining experience a bit better would have been to have things a bit cleaner. I understand that it's that time of the year and flies are everywhere but having dead flies sitting in the windowsill is less than appetizing. Other than the slightly slow service and the dead flies everything else was great and met our expectations. The risotto flamingo definitely exceeded my expectation which is why I'm giving 4 stars rather than 3. I would definitely recommend Villa Rosa.. maybe not for eat in but definitely for take out. read more

This was our first time at Villa Rosa after having read numerous positive reviews, and everyone was right! We had mozzarella sticks, the chicken flamingo, and a personal calzone. While I don't know that the flamingo quite lived up to the tremendous online hype, it was very tasty! I personally felt it could do without the egg wash. The pasta tasted fresh and the sauce had a nice depth to it. The side salad was a great addition - especially if you like black olives! We brought a few boxes home because the portions were huge.
