Kielbasa close up. Should have gotten it as I look at my photos.

Located inside the Columbus Market right outside the Amish market. Which I did not buy anything from the Amish market. But they are killing it in that market. You name it and they working it. Finally got here. According to Google, this place sells some of the best fried chicken in NJ. So getting take-out to see for me. And a cool yelper I hope she does not mind my shouting her out named Allie reviewed the chicken as excellent and gave them 4 stars. Sorry Allie, I had to give them 5 because the staff was really friendly and though busy took the extra time to answer all my questions about the deep-fried Kielbasa. It looked so good. But that's way too much-fried food for me. But definitely next time. There was few people (8) when I got to the stand. Picked up my order, walked around, and returned and the Chicken coop had about 20 people in line. That was in about 20 mins that I walked around. I picked up a 3 piece of chicken with 2 sides. JoJos (potatoes) and sweet potatoes. Planned to eat it at home. But it was hot and fresh and I took a walk break to try this chicken. First, the JoJos was mad good. I mean so freaking good. Big potatoes and flavor. The yams I almost ate all of the after-tasting a fork full. And the chicken was juicy on the inside, with golden crisp skin but not greasy, and had good flavor. Now, what determines the best-fried chicken? I can not say. But I can say this will rank very high on my list.

Came here on a Friday afternoon and there's already a line forming at this restaurant. Everything looked great from the fried gizzard, to the various pieces of fried chicken. You can pick from thighs, breasts, or wings. We opted for the wings, jojos, and mac and cheese. Everything was very tasty, although the chicken pieces and the jojos wasn't as crunchy as I hoped. Probably because it was sitting around in a pile and got steamed. The wings are huge and not your everyday normal wings. Three wings can feed a hungry dude.

This place doesn't miss! Chicken wings breasts biscuits potato spuds kielbasa chicken gizzards home made ranch top to bottom they can do no wrong! Take a ticket and wait whatever time you need to because it'll be worth it when they call your number. A must stop when I'm at the flea market, and if I'm being honest, this place is a big reason why I keep coming back.

Honestly I don't understand the hype. Got a platter and the chicken was room temperature at best, the Mac and cheese was cold and so congealed it looked like it was mixed with cottage cheese and had no flavor at all. It was more like buttered noodles instead of Mac and cheese. It's not like it was sitting out either as I sat right down immediately to eat it. The best thing about the platter was the biscuit. It was fluffy on the inside and not dry at all. If you like fast food it reminded me of KFC's biscuits. The chicken finger was also pretty good but not for $2 and change per piece. Hit and a miss for me.

    The famous jojos potatoes!

The chicken coop, I've known you for a very long time. My mom used to have a little scrub shop waaay before the renovation with the food court. You guys always have the best fried chicken, gizzards, kielbasa, and of course the jojos potatoes. I always spend quite a bit of money here because I'm not here every week. So to compensate for that, I usually get a 1-2 lbs of jojos, several pieces of fried chicken, probably a pound of gizzards, and sometimes a good hunk of the kielbasa. When my fiance (the vegetarian) wants some jojos and a side. I opt to go for the "family meal" which is a good amount of pieces of chicken, 1 and a half lbs of jojos, and a large side. Recently, they expanded across the hall and now have the Coop Cafe! You can get breakfast sandwiches and chicken sandwiches. They also have ice cream and shakes.

I probably shouldn't have gone out, but......... If you mention John and Molly's, I will throw…read moremyself together and run out the door with you So far everything that we have ate from their menu has been beyond delicious and with being in the middle of lent, I decided to give up cheese, big mistake, but I wanted to do something hard. But the service that is amazing and all the smiling staff here make up for anything that I don't see on the menu. The place is really well put together and is a very handsome bar it's mostly very wooden and heavy duty. The ambience is something for everyone on the TV or you can just chitchat. They even have this little side room that is nice but beware and bring a coat or a sweater cause it does get chilly in there. They're always seems like a really great group of people there and our favorite waitress is KB/Kristen. She is truly amazing and very attentive, but not annoying. We love their chicken fajitas and steak fajitas, the Cheesesteaks are delish! But My Newest Favorite for the Moment..... is the "We Jammin Burger". It has bacon onion Jam on it and it is amazing! I didn't think that I would like it as Much as I do! But I Realllllllly Do! I'm not really a burger fan... like my husband Is, But THIS BURGER..... has been a Game changer for Me. Warning: Make room in your fridge... because You will definitely bring leftovers home. This meal can feed a family of 4 Easily!! Their Cajun quesadilla is delicious and it does have a nice little zing. Their traditional wings are amazing and their beef stew is delicious and very hearty. We have tried many of their specialties. The Hail Mary is a delicious Caesar salad on top of chicken cutlets and their Broccoli Chicken Cheesesteak is amazing. I recommend you get it pressed on the grill and that way it won't fall out as you bite each delicious bite. I would say 80 to 90% of the visits that we have had at this amazing establishment. We always bring home leftovers. So be aware that you were going to have lunch for tomorrow. You will get to the point where you will just think of something to eat that they have on their menu and your mouth will just start to drool. We definitely recommend going. I'm not a huge drinker so I really can't say much as for their drinks but everyone there seems very happy and the portions are huge. I definitely say try it, what's the worst that happens you have leftovers for the next day or two lol It is my husband and my favorite new place that's been around forever Hey, maybe we'll see you there

Pros: Our waitress, Alicia, was an absolute sweetheart and made several great food recommendations,…read moreincluding the hot honey wings, Jammin' burger, and chocolate cake--all of which were very good. The portion sizes were generous; both my burger and the Cheesesteak Deluxe were large enough that we brought leftovers home from both entrées. Cons: Unfortunately, the drinks were not good. I ordered a Downeast Cider on tap and it tasted like the line may not have been cleaned recently. My companion ordered a cosmopolitan that was essentially undrinkable--extremely strong and not well balanced. We later learned the bartender is new, so hopefully that improves with experience. The wings were also served cold, and the Jammin' burger came out without the bacon jam that's supposed to be a key part of the dish. The restaurant itself is also very tight quarters. If you prefer more personal space or feel more comfortable in places where it's easy to move around or exit quickly, this may not be the best spot for you. Overall: The staff was very attentive and clearly tried to make things right after several mistakes occurred. They comped our soda, appetizer, and dessert, which we appreciated. However, given the number of issues during one visit, I'm not sure we'd return.
