We recently ordered takeout, from the Pizza Hut in Waterloo, IL. The staff was friendly and quick to help me. We rarely go to Pizza Hut but I do love the Thin n crispy pepperoni and hamburger pizza!! Its was a cold snowy night so we opted for Pizza Hut. The Pizzas were hot and great. We got some traditional Bone in wings Buffalo mild. Talk about hot, crispy and not to hot to where you couldn't enjoy them. I highly recommend them rather than the boring bread sticks. read more

I went to my Pizza Hut today in Waterloo, IL. I ordered 6 wings to go, when I got home and opened the box I only had 5 wings. We all make mistakes so I called the store and explained and was told there was nothing that could be done, I was a little irate and asked to speak to the manger and was told that I in fact WAS speaking to the manger and once again was told there was nothing she could do. Any way I am going to the store in the next few days and I told her I either wanted my other wing or my money returned to me for the cost of the wing. Needless to say after that I will not be doing business at that store again ,These young people need to be trained to do better at handling customer complaints. I worked the fast food business for many years and I never told a costumer there was nothing I could do to make things right and we never had any complaints we didn't address .I intent to report this to the head office. read more

It's really great that they have a drive through window for pick up, and really unfortunate that they don't prioritize it. On their busy nights, you should get in the drive thru line before submitting your order. Don't expect anything less than a 15 minute wait unless you're the only car in line. read more

This has always been a not so pleasant experience. I ordered pizza this evening for our family and received 2 pizzas with little to no cheese on either of the pizzas. I guess you have to pay the additional up charge of $2 per pizza for extra cheese. How is that a premium topping anyway?? We've also tried the Tuesday night buffet, with very disappointing results. The only replace the food when it's completely out so if it is crowded you're in luck because they have no choice but to make fresh pizzas, if not you're stuck with heat lamp food. Bottom line, don't waste your money!! Furthermore, who charges for ranch dressing for wings that are already overpriced, really?? I certainly wish the old restaurant was still here as it was 10 times better and had a salad bar. The customer service sucks pizza over cooked and dried out and the point system is non existent.. I had a 61.00 order and was suppose to have 114 points added to my account.. Guess what they magically disappeared. Afraid of the 5.99 pizza they may have to give away.. I was on the phone and sent several emails in which nothing was accomplished. So if you count on gaining your points you will be disappointed.. But papa johns has 50% total bill with cardinals win.. Well where to begin. This is the 3rd time we have tried to dine in at this Pizza Hut! The food when we do receive it is pretty good for a Pizza Hut. But all 3 times we have gone the service is soooooooo slow. There was a 25 minute wait at Applebee's that we would have been better off waiting then coming to Pizza Hut tonight. The first time we ate there I had about 30 minutes before I had to leave for work. All I wanted was some breadsticks. Well the walmart workers who came in after us got their breadsticks first. I did get a breadstick with the family before I had to leave. The second time my daughter and I had to leave about 30 minutes after we arrived and we figured we would just order pizzas they came just after we had to leave. Tonight was the worst, food was great when we received it. but everything came out at different times. We ordered our kids 8 wings each and each with a side of ranch and our daughter wanted a side of buffalo mild sauce. And then each wanted a side of fries. My wife ordered a small personal pizza which she thought it was good. I ordered a supremo sandwich which came with a side of fries. Plus I wanted a app the nacho fries. We waited about 15 minutes and finally the kids 2 sides of fries came. About 5 minutes later my wife's Pizza and my sandwich came. Then I received my nacho fries. Then about 5-7 minutes our waitress came and told us they tossed all 16 wings in sauce. We asked for it on the side. We were told about another 7-10 minutes for the new batch of wings. Finally the cook brings us the wings no sauces for them. He did go and get some for us. So finally we had received all of our food. Except for another side of fries. I asked the waitress weren't we supposed to get 3 orders of plain fries she said yes, why did you not get all 3? I said no we only got 2 of them. I told her don't worry about it just don't charge me for one of the extras. She tried to say oh well the one you were supposed to get with your sandwich was free so we are good. I told her no she needed to take one of the ones we paid for off and she agreed to. Well we got our bill about 15 minutes after we were all done eating. She wouldn't have known this because she never once came over to check how things were. But as far as the bill goes she still had the extra fry on there. She did eventually get the bill right but what a hassle. This would probably be a great place to order out. But never ever again will we dine in. Approach with caution. read more

we decided to stop at the Waterloo Illinois Pizza Hut while out shopping...and now we wish we didn't. We haven't been in there since they changed location so we thought we would have a nice sit down...and that is all we got. First...why is the pickup for take out in the same location as those waiting to be seated for eat-in? How do you tell who is there for what? Second, why would you shove a big round table in the middle of the intersection of the aisles? We had to walk around the perimeter of the restaurant just to sit 10 feet from where we started! Isn't that a fire hazard? I can't believe that is even legal. Third, even though it was only 2/3 full, we received no service in 20 minutes...not even drinks. A lady and kids at the table next to us came in and within 5 minutes had a waitress. That is when we got up to leave. We expressed our dissatisfaction to the seater and waitress and then went to inform the manager about it. She offered to give us some credit for a future takeout...but my wife just shook her head and said we were hungry NOW as we left....seriously the dropped the ball. The biggest shopping weekend of the year...they should have streamlined the service for this period. A simple fix would have been to run the buffet all weekend. Less demand on the wait staff with a buffet. Make it one pass not all you can eat and the flow would work better than this mess. Unlike them, Little Caesars was on the ball. You know how they keep a cheese and a pepperoni and a sausage hot-n-ready and you order the other stuff ? For this weekend they had at least one of every menu item prepared and waiting. I walked in, grabbed a 3 meat and Italian cheese bread , paid , and was out the door in less than 1 minute. As soon as he pulled my items the counter-person called them out to the back so they could make replacements. That is the kind of planning Pizza Hut should have done.
