They are way too short staffed. Should not be operating like this. My hubby ordered pizza to be delivered 2 hours ago. Kids are crying, hubby is ticked off. You cannot call this particular location at all to check on status of order. Shut down online ordering if you can't handle the demand. Do not order from here if you want food lol. I ordered the double pepperoni Chicago tavern pizza and my order was made wrong. I received a normal thin pizza not the square slices and it had a normal amount of pepperonis on it and had pesto sauce all over the pizza. I was pretty disappointed. I'm convinced the employees at this location don't actually know the meaning of "extra cheese." I always always order extra cheese on all my pizzas and sometimes they have it and some times they don't. My order today was four pizzas, two had the cheese, two didn't. I'm sick and tired of calling to let them know and being offered a free pizza to, what? Buy me off? I'll just start picking up pizza from somewhere else on my way home from work. This is just ridiculous. In the picture, the pizza doesn't even have cheese halfway to the crust, there is literally NO CHEESE PAST THE BLACK LINE. What the hell am I paying for??? I haven't been to a dine in Pizza Hut in over 12 years and they didn't disappoint. We ordered cheese breadsticks and a large supreme and a pepperoni pizza to go. The waitress brought out our drinks and said the pizza would take awhile to cook. She brought us the breadsticks that were piping hot and I could taste the yeasty bread I remember. The pizzas arrived about 15 minutes later and hot and the pizza crust had that yeasty taste to the crust I remember. We will definitely be back dining in is so much better than getting it delivered it's a totally different experience. read more

This place is horrible. Good luck getting the correct food you ordered. The manager(s) will promise to refund but never give it to you. They keep replacing the manager(s) and promising to do better but it is all a pipe dream. Delivery or pick up it makes no difference. The one time I did get what I ordered it was delivered two hours and 45 minutes past the promised time and the food was cold and the pizza stuck to the bottom of the box. I have even got food poisoning from this place. I am still waiting on a refund from my order last week. $60 pizza order and you could not even get it right. They are aware they overcharged me and gave me incorrect pizza(s). read more

Worse experience ever. Went there for the lunch buffet but no pizzas were made at noon. Salad bar was limited, and had about 7 breadsticks. After 15 minutes the staff brought out a dessert pizza and more breadsticks. Another 10 minutes, finally one pizza came out which was promptly gone. I asked an employee if more pizza was gonna come out since I was lunch break and he replied, yes but are ovens are just slow, what??? Time ran out, my lunch consisted of a bare salad and 5 breadsticks, no pizza. The worse part is that they still charged me the full price of the buffet. Awful customer service, no management and a rip off having a pizza buffet with no pizza. Go to Pizza Shoppe instead, better lunch deal and service. read more

I used to work at a Pizza Hut in a more heavily populated area and one person was able to run the kitchen, and yet they can't get by with 4 people back there. They have people waiting up to an hour while dining in, which may not seem like a long time, but from a restaurant's perspective, that should be completely ridiculous. Hire a server if you're going to be a dine-in restaurant. Serve your tickets in the order that they were placed. Pay attention to what you're including in each order if you're going to work as expo or cashier. It's not even about being angry about how bad it was. It was just pitiful to watch from a culinary perspective. read more

If you like pizza, then the good thing about Pizza Hut pizza is that it is a consistantly good product, which ever location you go to. The reason we go to the Pizza Hut in Smithville is the service, it's just like going to the bar "Cheers" everybody knows your name. The staff gets to know you and then you don't even have to order a drink, they know what you want. I'd put Liz up against any waitress on the Plaza for service...with a friendly dose of "attitude" on the side. The general manager, Troy, will make sure that you are well taken care of. He cares for his customers and his staff, and it shows. This restaurant is 5 minutes from Smithville Lake, so it's close if you need a break from the sun or fishing. No bugs to fend off and it is air conditioned. Several flat panel TVs dot the walls so no one will miss sports or news. They serve icy cold beer too. There is a party room for special occasions. Call to ask for the specifics. Soon to have free Wi-Fi. Check back in a week.They always have specials so...ask. Don't forget dessert. The Chocolate Dunkers are possitively addictive and if you're an apple pie fan, get the mini apple pies. Give it a try when you're in town and say "Hi" for me. read more

I truly wish I could give them no stars as that is still way more than they should get. I understood the fact that they must have just started to deliver as they have NEVER had that option when ordering online in the 2 years we have lived here. That it would take and hour and 30 mins to even get the food to us ( living 10 mins down the road from pizza hut ) But when we waited the hour and a half and still had no food we called to after it was 30 mins late. Where we would told that the food was on its way, another 20 mins our food at last got to our door. It was cold and not even what we ordered at all. The boxes were smashed to top it all off. WE will NEVER order for that shit hole ever again. They are rude and clearly lazy and dont know how to do a simple job!! We ordered ahead for pizza and it was hot and ready on time. They were very busy but the gentleman insisted on helping me out with my pizza. He knew would be very hard for me to carry out the "big box" pizza meal and 2 litter that we ordered along with the baby car seat I had. They definitely went the extra mile this time. read more

i ordered a large pizza for delivery and after an hour, it still haven't arrived! i called and ask them why it take so long. they told me that they put it down for carry out and tell me to come pick it up. i said i would like delivery then they said it would take about another 45 mins after i already waited for an hour!! read more
