Service started out fine but then turned to poop. My mom n I visited today August 14,2024 for lunch. We arrived around 1145 am was seated drinks brought out. 5 minutes later we order. Family cheesesticks as an appetizer and a medium pan meat lovers. Our cheesesticks just arrived ( 12 47 pm) on our table with cold marina sauce. I asked for warm sauce was told they serve it room temperature, but proceeded to get me some from the buffet table where it's warm. Not 5 minutes later our pizza arrives..not hot fresh outta the oven but just warm. The lady that brought out the food was not trying to hear my complaint at all,she walked off shaking her head. Agree with the bad reviews. Ordered carry out and the pizza was inedible so I had to throw it out. Got the thin and crispy crust and it was more akin to thin and rubbery. Almost no cheese on it but it had apparently been cooked to the boiling point. Not sure how one does that yet still ends up without a crispy crust. I'm not really sure what I expected since Pizza Hut is not noted for its authentic New York style or Chicago style pizza. I guess I expected thin and crispy to be, well, thin and crispy. I think I'll just have Totino's instead. It may not be good but it's worth just about the whole $1.25 I have to spend on it. I can't say the same for Pizza Hut. read more

Can you give less than one star? I have placed multiple orders from this pizza hut. I stay .3 miles from the store. I have not received my food in less than an hour on any order that I have placed. I will not place another order from this pizza hut. During the delivery of one of my orders, the driver called and asked me to meet him at the road. He would not get out of his car. To me my experience has been more than unacceptable. In the future it will be an easy call to order from dominos or papa John's. When you call to cancel your order that was supposed to be delivered in 20-30 minutes expect to be hung up on. read more

This is only in reference to their delivery person. Was on a 20 mph road in uptown Roxboro, the pizza hut driver was tailgating me even though I was doing 25. This was a no passing zone and had many people walking in the streets (a kids play was letting out at the Kirby). When I was able to confront the driver he was rude and smelled of smoke. I personally would not want a cigarette smell on my pizza. I certainly would not get delivery from this pizza hut if that is the caliber of people that they hire. Look out for a blue pickup truck on the streets of Roxboro delivering pizza. read more

Went today to treat my kids to some pizza. Figured it might be a bit busy since school was out, but only about half the tables were filled. We stood in the doorway almost 5 mins before the waiter noticed us and led us to a table. Then we sat there for another full 5 mins and were getting ready to leave when another waitress walked up and asked if we'd been helped. I told her no, and we were ready to leave. She apologized and took our order, so we decided to give them a chance. I don't know why we bothered. It was another 5 mins before she showed up with our drinks. I got the buffet and both kids got personal pan pizzas. I had to ask for a plate for the salad bar, and it was a pretty sad sight. The cucumbers were either frozen or mushy, they hadn't re-filled the tomatoes and there were no carrots left, either. The french dressing was really gross looking, it was chunky, so I wasn't touching that. Basically, it was pretty much lacking in everything. Once I sat down, I tried 3 times to get the waitress' attention since she hadn't given us silverware. She kept apologizing, but the service didn't get any better. The other waiter brought my kids' pizzas, and one was wrong, it was supposed to be cheese, it was pepperoni. My 6 yr old wasn't pleased, but we just pulled it off, because by this time she was starving and I wasn't waiting any longer. I would have gotten her a piece from the buffet but they didn't have any plain cheese. Waitress came over to apologize for the pizza mistake but didn't offer to correct the issue. The pizza bar was okay, they had several different types of pizza and one pasta, with some breadsticks, which could have been a little hotter. Not much attention from the waitress. She came by and brought soda once, and asked if we needed anything, but that was it. She brought the check but I didn't see her after that. They were all standing in the back talking while other diners were looking for them or complaining they hadn't gotten silverware, drinks, etc. We left the money on the table and I stood there a minute trying to get her attention, but it was on someone else in the back from what I could see. The food wasn't bad, but I think we'll stick to take out. The service is incredibly lacking with no attention to any detail. All in all, not a great experience, and we won't be back. read more

I go to Pizza Hut here and there, mostly with my mom. Each time is a hit or miss and the wait time for the food is typically slow. Well my mom and I went this past Wednesday for Wing Wednesday and I would like to say that was probably the best service we had there in a while. When we would go a while back we would have some nice servers but that's been a while. Our wait time wasn't terrible despite they had several school groups coming in and out and the server granted my mom's wish. Our server was Jessica. She and maybe one other server was working the floor and at one point all the tables were taken. Jessica was super nice and met all our needs. I really hope to get her next time we go back! Delivery takes forever because of lack of staff. We order and pick it up ourselves. Much faster and fresher!! Lunch buffet is worth the visit. Go early (11:00) to avoid the construction workers. read more

Consistently bad. Good luck getting a fresh pizza from this location. Pizzas are obviously parcooked. They add more toppings on top but don't add additional cheese so the toppings are undercooked, there isn't any sauce left, and the cheese has dried out. You might be better off getting a frozen pizza. read more

Regardless of whether you dine in, call ahead and pick up, or get delivery, there will be something wrong with your order. Every. Single. Time. It could be small, like a missing marinara cup for your breadsticks, or it could be something absurd like missing an entire entrée - I've seen it all. The wait staff is generally polite, but as others have said you may go 10-15 minutes in between visits, and their attention to the details of your order leaves much to be desired. Management is terrible. My order was prepared wrong and on the way to work I noticed the error. I called and spoke with the manager "Angela", she stated that she made the mistake and had fixed the meal incorrectly. She apologized and stated that it was her fault. She stated for me to come back now and she would fix it correctly. I explained to her I was in route to work and could not turn around and drive back. I told her I had my receipt and could come by another day. She stated, " No, I can't do that. We don't do that anymore." I told her again that I could not come back today because I would be late for work. She told me , "Well I can't help you!" I feel like I have been robbed. Poor customer service. The service was horrible...the food was thrown together...it took over an hour to get my food....which they only had one cashier she was working dining room and drive thru...there were @ least 8 customers waiting for our food...some had been there longer than me... A lil old lady got tired of waiting for her food and actually walked in the back and told them to get it together and get our food to us of course they put her out the kitchen...but u get my point that's how bad it was...they kept telling us they had a new computer system that is messing up so that what was taking so long...another customer said what does that have to do with u making pizzas...after an hour another lady and myself asked for our money back the cashier told us she would check for our food so goes to check there are still maybe 5 other ppl in front of us according to her...I happen to look in the warming stand and I see I long box I ask her was that mine she said no I told her again just give me my money she goes in back again ask guy that is fixing the food how long before my order is ready he tells her mine been up front for about 5 min...it was the box I said it was....now I call the regional office I get the run around there for 2 weeks by some guy need Chris...he actually told the lady Joyce he was calling me at that very moment...nope he called me a week later... Which by then I had left several messages for someone to call me back because this is ridiculous and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL...So I ended up talking to Joyce the lady I originally started talking to she tells me Chris said he was gonna call I told her he didn't and that this experience is worst than the experience in the store...so she tells me she gonna send me coupons for my trouble...I told her I didn't live in NC that I lived in VA & was driving thru my grandkids were hungry so I stopped there...fast forward to today...the coupons finally came after about 2 weeks...I call in an order with the coupons my daughter goes to pick up the pizzas...guess what..They can't b used in VA only in NC...can u say poor performance all the way around!!! read more
