No big deal just taken by surprise. This is also located on Harbor Boulevard. We parked in the rear which really that's all there is and some off to the side. In the same area as Boathouse Oyster Bar and Restaurant. We entered the back door and going in the place was dark just like a typical dive bar which took us by surprise no complaints there. We were seated promptly at a table vs bar. As we're seated our waiter took our drink order. We browsed the menu get the cheese breadsticks as appetizer. We eventually decide what pizza to go with so we go with a small meats pizza. Chest breadsticks come out first and OMG, the best ever!!! Baked to perfection with the right amount of cheese I can say the same thing about the pizza except they put the right amount of meat on there. Pizza sauce was phenomenal. This is definitely one of the best pizza places in Destin. Must visit if you are a pizza lover. Our waiter was absolutely amazing. Wish I caught his name. But, yes this is definitely a must try.

We started with fried dill pickles with dip and they were delicious. We also had the pretzels with cheese dip. You get two large baked pretzels which are soft and chewy and a beer cheese dip that is tasty. For half time we ordered 3 pizzas. Sadly I was into The game and forgot to take pictures. The pizzas are very tasty although a few of us agreed that the crust end was too thick. Note: They do not serve glasses with your pitcher of beer on game day. We were told that it was too busy for the bar tender to keep up. One of us offered to buy a glass as he does not like to drink his beer out of plastic cups. Next time we come we are going to bring our own beer glass. This is a fun place to watch your games.

On arrival we found when we got there that one couple inside seated at our table were waving to us but the windows are tinted so we couldn't see them. We saw another table arrive doing the same thing which brought a chuckle because we knew their friends could not see inside. We entered the building and there was no hostess to greet or direct us but the place is not that big so we were able to find the room our table was set up in. We had heard that martinis were a special for $5. I was all set to get a chocolate martini or some other flavor but when we got the drinks menu there was one Expresso Martini on the menu and I don't like coffee so I decided on a Long Island Tea. Others in the group had wine or beer. Price wasn't bad and we got a happy hour discount. There was a red pepper soup served as part of a meal-or salad and 6 of us had the soup, which was delicious. Tasted like an elevated creamy tomato soup and made you wish you had a grilled cheese sandwich to dunk in it. After our soup/salad there was a little wait for our entree's. The following report on the entrees found the grilled chicken salad with avocado, sliced almonds and feta Cheese was delicious with the chicken tasting like it was grilled on an open flame (maybe it was as we could smell char grill when entering the restaurant). The 4 lasagna eaters all agreed that it was very cheesy and lacking substance. They said you had to really dig deep through all most too much cheese to get to two layers of noodle and a little meat and sauce but it tasted good. They felt the online photo was misleading. The meatball sub was huge - like a foot long toasted bun with two very large meatballs, not something you could fit into your mouth but had to eat with a fork and knife. It was tasty. The spaghetti and meatballs and French dip had their plates cleaned and enjoyed their meals. The Nonas meat loaf was ok. I like my own homemade betterThe mashed potatoes creamy and I appreciated the ala dente fresh broccoli served with it. There was a comment that usually when you go to an Italian restaurant they serve you some bread but none was served here. My husband told me after we left that the chandelier right above me was caked with dust. Hopefully they have a spring cleaning coming up. The restroom was clean.

We were seated immediately and the waitress (Sarianna) was very professional and polite, as I told her that I had a hearing impairment. She took our order and came back numerous times to our table to make sure that we had everything that we needed. We ordered two pizzas, one just cheese, and the other was Supreme, both were tasty. I also ordered a meatball sandwich with fries, and it was delicious. Good food, nice place and excellent service by our waitress equals a Five Star rating...

I'd heard great things about this spot being a local go-to several years ago, so I was looking forward to a solid meal with our large group. Unfortunately, the experience just didn't live up to the reputation. It was exceptionally quiet--perhaps because it's the off-season--but even with the lack of a crowd, the food and service were underwhelming across the board. A lot of us ordered the burgers, and they were just "okay" at best. I went for the one topped with pulled pork, thinking it would be a highlight, but it really didn't work. The flavors didn't mesh, and it was a structural mess--the whole thing just broke apart and became a struggle to eat. Across our entire large group, I don't think anyone was super impressed with their meal. The service didn't help matters, either. We ordered several cocktails, and they were consistently either late or just plain wrong. Since it wasn't a very busy night, there wasn't really a clear reason for the lapse in attention. It's a shame because the setting is beautiful, but between the hit-or-miss drinks and the lackluster food, the whole night felt like it missed the mark.

This year there was just a party of 6 of us so it was easier to give a food review. Everyone had wonderful meals that consisted of Linguine & Mussels, Tom's Pasta, Linguine $ Shrimp, and three of the bacon wrapped tenderloins with squash risotto which was a special for the night. A cannoli was ordered to go. Everyone reported that their meals were delicious. The three of us who had the tenderloin special were amazed and we agreed that it was just as good as what you get at a Ruth Chris Steakhouse but half the price. The steaks were topped with a screwer of 3 perfectly prepared steak and topped with an onion bourbon sauce. The squash risotto was perfectly prepared also. The cannoli was delicious, not too sweet. Our waiter was awesome and I wished we had gotten his name. He packed up all our leftovers and was knowledgeable about questions we had on the menu. He has great customer service skills. We look forward to visiting this restaurant again. They don't open until 5 pm Tuesday-Saturday. We visit the area 4-5 months a year so are limited to our visits. Wish they were open for lunches.
