Unbelievable. They have no ice, no fountain drinks. If you want even a water, you can buy a lukewarm bottle for $2.50 each. We asked for silverware and got plastic cutlery. Bathrooms were disgusting. Absolutely appalling restaurant. read more

The service at this pizza hut was amazing. We got our food at a good time and all the food came out amazing

Worst Pizza Hut I've ever been to. The manager Pricilla had the nastiest attitude because I spoke up and asked why over 4 people were waiting to be greeted or taken care of. She said they all were "working in the back" when I told her why wasn't anyone working up front to take care of the customers she said she wasn't going to argue with me and said she's going to refuse service and cancel my order. I contacted corporate and will take this to the highest level I can. Disgusting place and management. Will never go back to a place that hires nasty people like her!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!!! read more

Food was okay for what they had. Wanted a side salad and even though it was on the menu, I was told they don't do salad anymore. Also they only have bottled drinks, no cups or ice to go with them either. No ICE TEA either. They had have the place with chairs on the tables . I think they need to convert this Pizza Hut into a to go or delivery place only. Really don't offer what you would expect for a dine-in restaurant. Also suggest they update their menu and take items off that they no longer offer. Was going to go to subway, should have stuck to my original plan. read more

Might want to close the doors, if you can't get dependable help and you have to order up front before you sit down! No fountain drinks or fresh tea. This is like a start up restaurant 1st time owner, actually worse! Only 2 customers in the restaurant my wife and I. Additionally the Orange Crush drinks were flat, it is Sept 16th and the best by date is Aug 25th. They went the the other drinks and two plus cases we out of date and were given to the Door Dash Delivery Driver read more

Customer service was GREAT. Order was ready for pickup/carry out on time. Place looks very clean but was dead empty with sit down seating at 6pm in the evening. Worst Pizza Hut pizza I have EVER had. Most of the slices are just bread with very little sauce or toppings. I will NOT be back. $30 wasted. read more

We had such a wonderful experience 2 months ago we decided to return. The manager was there & his staff was great. We returned tonight 10/23/2024, & our experience tonight was awful!! After a 15 minute wait I finally went to the bar to tru & get someone's attention. One of the workers said he'd get the person to take my order. Then he proceeded to search the restaurant for her. He finally found her & she came to the counter. I went to place an order for the Tavern Deal that we had ordered the last time we visited & she told me I couldn't order it at the restaurant, I had to do it online. Ok. I went back to my booth opened the app & placed my order. I checked out & my debit card was charged. I asked the lady how long & she told me no order had come in. I told her it had gone through my bank & showed her the receipt. She said my card might not be working. Again I showed her the receipt from my bank showing that I paid $23 for my pizza (that included an 18% tip- I definitely want that back!!). She said there was nothing she could do about my order. I told her I have paid for my pizza & I need the pizza or my money refunded. She told me the App would refund it. I explained that the App said my order went through & again she told both my husband & me that she couldn't do anything for us. We should get the money refunded through the App in a few days. Her attitude was deteriorating a& she was starting to get snippy. We left. I went back in hoping to speak with the manager but the lady told me she couldn't get him. I asked how to contact him & she said the call the restaurant but she doesn't know the number there. She did say he would be in tomorrow morning. This was terrible. We had lazy, unhelpful & basically rude staff. And to make it worse... I paid $23 for a pizza & tip with nothing to eat!! read more

Jenny left a customer on hold for 27 minutes, calling back and then getting an attitude from her who refused to accept the responsibility of a manager for an order that was made wrong. Who would order a Supreme Pizza less all meat and vegetables- why wouldn't you order just a plain cheese pizza! This is the last time I'll order from this Pizza Hut. Absolutely the worst customer service and experience for $116. Good luck treating your employees, customers and others the way you did. I had every reason to be upset after two calls, 27 minutes on hold, a call back and being attacked right after you answered. Great leadership skills there. read more

Several Pizza Huts locations we've been to in the past don't deliver a thin and CRISPY crust; it's normally thin and soggy. Just returned home from this Hut with thin and CRISPY pizza - perfection! Many thanks! read more

This place is a joke. Waited over an hour for pizza and they tried to hand off the incorrect order to me. No apology, got a refund after being told it would be another 35 minutes... THEY KEPT MY TIP AND I LEFT EMPTY HANDED. I drove 25 miles to Dominos in Seguin. read more

Since the new manager took over the pizza has gone downhill and the customer service is awful. Just picked an Edge pizza. So little toppings you couldn't hardly find them. Burnt and suppose to be curbsidepick up. Waited 10 checked in on the website as well as email. Finally went in and got it and it was practically thrown at me on the counter. Guess I'll go back to Floresville even though it's farther away at least it'll be better tha what I got this time read more

I ordered one pizza and cheese breadsticks at 11:03am. At 11:30am my order was out for delivery. I received my food at 12:30pm. The food was not very hot. It was very dry like it had no sauce on it. The crust on my pizza was burnt and I didn't order thin and crispy I ordered a regular pizza. The La Vernia Pizza Hut is bye far the worst one around! read more

Our store in La Vernia is hit and miss. But we still order from them because it's convenient. And the new Detroit style pizza is the bomb!

The Pizza Hut in La Vernia needs to either close down, or get workers and a manager who knows how to make a good pizza. We have tried and tried to order a pizza for delivery for years and they cannot provide a decent pizza. Last night we ordered 2 pizza. Mine smelled like gasoline, the olives were burned, the cheese was burned, and the pepperoni was not eatable. This is the LAST TIME we will ever order a pizza. There are 3 pizza places in La Vernia and all 3 cannot make a decent pizza - pick up or delivery! I would lover to see Papa John's, or any restaurant that can make some good food! If you want to get a tummy ache, or through your money away, eat Mexican food at Sammy's Number Two - Expensive but always good food!!!!!!! read more

Ordered 2 pizzas on New Year's Eve understanding it would be busy. 50 mins later went to pick them up. Was told 48 pizzas were ordered earlier so it pushed everyone else back another 30 mins. Shouldn't the order of 48 pizzas be the one pushed back? Several other people had the same thing said to them. We all canceled orders. In the end mega Corp doesn't care about you or your money. I'll never order here or another pizza place again. I'm done. read more

This location is not a great one to visit when it's busy even if you use the app they will run 20 minutes behind from the app. I have eaten here when it's not busy and it was great but for carry out on a busy night don't bother . The food I received was just slapped together with very little toppings for $29 dollars that's un acceptable. read more

Absolutely disappointed with our order. We ordered three large pizzas. Two thin crust, one was sausage and mushrooms and the other was just pepperoni. Both with easy sauce. The third was a stuffed crust meat lovers, and also easy sauce. None of this is complicated. Got the pizzas home and all three were so heavy with sauce that we had to take the cheese and toppings off, scrap the gallon of sauce off then put the toppings back on just to be able to eat the pizza. This will be the last time we order from here again until they get some managers and employees that actually care about the food they put out. read more

After reading all of the really rough reviews (really old reviews) about this Pizza Hut; I was somewhat apprehensive to say the least. So, my expectations were low and I wasn't looking to be impressed by PIZZA HUT! But.... I must say that I was impressed and not barely but extremely. The server was AWESOME!!! I never had an empty glass at my table (party of 6). The food was GREAT!!! The pizza was delicious and hot, straight from the oven. It burned the roof of our mouths in a I can't wait to eat this kinda way:) The wings were sauced correctly, which is impressive in itself because we kinda had a difficult order; only because we r trying to satisfy adult and young children's taste buds at the same time. The restaurant was clean and everything arrives in a timely manner. Overall super experience considering all the not so great reviews (that were written years ago). This place is a new place from then and they deserve the notification and appreciation from fellow yelpers. read more

Pizza Hut - Blazin Hot Wings - Pizza Near Me - La Vernia, Texas

We have just moved to La Vernia and last night we thought pizza sounded good. Pizza Hut was our only option so I ordered online for curbside pick-up. I have never had such a bad experience anywhere! The website told me 35-45 minutes so I waited for 35 minutes to get there. I called the store and was told it would be about 10 minutes. After 20 minutes I went into the store. The woman at the counter asked my name. After she found my order she went to the warmer and pulled out all but one order of wings. I pointed out that my order wasn't complete and she went searching for the rest of it. during this search I watched the kids in the back playing around and nobody knew anything. the woman finally came back and said they would have to cook the wings and it would take 5 minutes. She told me that as soon as they came out she would bring them to my car. 15 minutes later I went inside and the first woman was not there. So I told the young woman there that it was beyond ridiculous that I was still waiting while my food was sitting in a warmer drying out and I wanted my food. She went to the back and said something and one of the kids looked at me and said " Well it takes 5 minutes". I said "it's been well over an hour!" At that point the other woman came back and said something to one of the kids and he yelled, "Well just fire me then!" One of the female kids then looked around a rack and squealed "She's looking at me!" The guy who talked about firing turned around to look at me and said something I couldn't hear. After that I was handed a stack of boxes and plastic containers and I promptly walked out. I was angry and did not check the order at the store but was not surprised that it was incomplete. When I got home I inspected the food and decided to try it although it was not appetizing. my pizza was nearly raw after I had requested that it be cooked extra brown. They'd had plenty of time to do so. I did try to eat some of it because it was my only choice but became nauseous (See below). The woman who seemed to be running things gave me a free 2 liter Diet Pepsi and a $20 voucher for my "next visit" which will not happen. I had even left a tip for a delivery to my car that never happened. My order was prepaid. I guess the worst part of it all was being jeered at by the jerks who got to hide in the back. I will not be back and would never recommend this place. read more

Pizza Hut - The personal pan pizza - Pizza Near Me - La Vernia, Texas

We moved to La Vernia 7 months ago and were very disappointed to read such horrible reviews for this Pizza Hut bc we had an amazing one in Austin. Tonight, we decided to give them a try. It was excellent!!! adequate toppings on our supreme and pepperoni/sausage. We did a pick up and pizza was piping hot and being boxed up when we got there. Thank you Pizza Hut staff, for making our experience with you pleasant. We will be back!! read more

This pizza hut was well done on the inside. I'll give them a star for that and the Pizza was hot when it hit the table. They get a star for supporting the Dallas Cowboys, and the San Antonio Spurs. However no internet, and real slow on making the little tiny pizza they loose two stars. This would be a cool hangout to sit eat pizza have a beer, and study or read. But even the beer was expensive! It's been a long time since I actually went inside a Pizza Hut, looks like it will be a long time before I do it again. read more

I wish I would've seen the reviews earlier.. I placed my curbside pickup order at 7:16 pickup time showed 8:05. I get there at 8:00 check in with the link provided on the email. It looked pretty busy there were a few customers waiting to pickup since dine-in was closed so I waited till 8:20 to call the store to see how much more I needed to wait the customer service representative told me she sent a notification to the store to let them know I was there. I waited till 8:36 to go inside and see what was going on, I walked in and looked at the screen which had the names of customers and their order times. The names that showed ready were for the original ready time before 7:05 there were so many other names on the waiting list. I asked how much longer she said she could get my order started and it would take about 40mins at this time I was over it so I cancelled my order. I get it was a busy night it's a Friday and with everything going on right now there is a shortage of workers but this is ridiculous.. I will not be going here again.. read more

Ordered carry out. The manager was the employee working the register. Paid for 3 salads, an order of 8 boneless wings buffalo mild, and an order of 8 boneless wings naked. The total was $26.77, and paid with $40 cash = $13.23 in change. We were given $3.23 in change. We went back into the restaurant after getting in the car and she corrected the mistake. Once we got home and opened everything up it got worse. The 8 piece buffalo mild wings were tiny and didn't even cover the bottom of the plastic bowl container The 8 piece naked wings were normal. Also, one of the wings was very rubbery and had a strange texture. The salads - which we have ordered for years - were tiny. Again, not even enough to cover the bottom of the plastic container they were in. My mom and I have always split the salad and been content. These were smaller than even what would typically be a side salad. All in all, not worth nearly $30 for very little food. Not sure what is happening here but the La Vernia Pizza hut was mediocre before and is now simply disappointing. If you're looking for a good salad or pizza, spend the extra money and go to Capparelli's. Sorry. read more

I didn't even mean to click the one star that's how terrible this place is! If you think Pizza Hut is a great server, you clearly having stayed there longer than 5 minutes. I went into Pizza Hut to pick up an order and the server was really sweet, she was around 16 maybe 17. Very young and it was definitely her first job, but she looked stressed and very nervous and while waiting for her boss(which was the only other person working) to finish making my breadsticks, we just started chatting. Turns out she's only been working there for two months and she's the only one working because her two managers quit on the spot. The subject then turned into her family and mine and suddenly the boss, remind you is a grown women, starts to yell her living lungs at this poor kid. The girl gets shaking and tells me and the guy behind me who's also waiting that she'll be right back with my breadsticks. So I sit next to the counter and wait and suddenly the yelling gets more violent and apparently the boss couldn't wait to yell at her in a less public place. Watching this 50 year old women just demolish this girl for not making something just broke my heart. While yes a boss needs to be strict to run a good establishment. A boss shouldn't be fear and very much shouldn't be threatening her staff with backhanded insults and terrible behavior. After the brutal yelling this poor girl came back, about to cry, handing me my breadsticks and cashing me out. I tipped her a $30 and she thanked me for it. I left feeling bad and just yesterday I went in and found the boss doing cashier and when I asked another employee they said she was fired for being "overly emotional and was rude to the customers" now. Maybe that girl was rude to a customer. Maybe she did cry during a workplace. But she's also a teenager, mind you ones with hormones and relationships, if you had to make a teenager so stressed and so scared of you that she had a breakdown, maybe, just maybe you're doing something wrong Pizza Hut. read more
