The Brick is a solid contender for best pizza in Seguin. There isn't a whole lot of competition presently so they can easily claim first place. The dough of our shareable 14' pizza was very, very good. One way to test dough is to see if I eat the crust. I usually will leave it on the plate unless it's amazing. At The Brick, I ate my crust. Another win are the cheese and marinara sauce. The combo of mozzarella and feta was very tasty. Where the pizza disappointed me however was the toppings. The mushroom on our Verde pizza were slim pickings and the advertised arugula was swapped for lettuce. They're not the same leafy green, and we noticed. Had there been more toppings, and had they been the correct ones, this could have been a nearly perfect pizza. Other than that, the beer is cheap and they have pasta dishes I'd like to try in the future. The place is also still under construction, even though the dining room with its high dark ceilings, fans and (too) many TVs is ready to receive diners. Last but not least, the pizza was ready quickly and the service was courteous. We'll try them again in the future! read more

Touring Texas with some buddies when we saw this place. What a hidden gem! We got a few COLD beers, traditional wings (mild and parm), couple pizzas (Matador highly recommended) The experience was phenomenal! This is a must try place! We had a pepperoni pizza, a Margherita pizza, meatballs, and mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were cooked perfectly, the meatballs were big, delicious, and served in a soft tortilla shell. The pizza was the best I have ever had. The crust was perfection ! This is a new restaurant that is still under some renovation, while it prepares to open up more seating and an upper level. This would be a good place to host a small or large group. The service was superb. The staff was friendly, efficient, checked on us regularly, and brought our food out quickly. We will definitely eat here again when we pass near Seguin. read more

Wow! This is definitely a up and coming gem in Seguin. Though they've been open for about a year, it was our first visit. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. The servers and owners were so nice and attentive. The chef stopped by our table to chat. We talked about the renos they're doing; going to have an elevated dining area soon. Looking forward to that. He, along with everyone working, were so understanding and caring when it came to our little guy called Benji. Pizzas come in individual and share sizes. I gotta tell you the individual size is generous! Can definitely share next time. I got the Margherita pizza, the boyfriend got the Blanco with pepperoni, and his mom got a standard pepperoni pizza. The food came out quickly and perfectly cooked. BTW, chef mentioned the dough ferments for 21 hours. And, you can tell! It's so tasty and not chewy or rubbery like some brick oven pizzas can be. Went here with my family and we ordered a pizza and wings (parm and bbq). When we got our food it looked good but then that's when everything took a turn for the worst. The pizza tasted burnt then fell apart piece by piece I'm talking all just fell onto the plate and the wings tasted like fake chicken barely any flavor and the service was bad owners seemed rude only servers were good and kept apologizing for when we sent the food back like send the owners to apologize ain't yalls fault the food sucks. The cheesecake was overpriced too I could get a better one at Walmart for maybe 2 dollars more.I also checked the reviews that's why I thought it was going to be good but they were all old as hell like i should've know to check when the reviews were made cause I should've came here back then since it was good apparently but now it's all trash. read more

When I tell y'all I've found good pizza I've found good pizza!! This establishment is under construction but don't let that allow y'all to not try their food! From the moment we walked in we were greeted and felt very welcomed! The staff is very attentive the prices are spot on and the food was AMAZING! It's nice to know their dough is in house made and fresh also they have in house ranch dressing which is to die for!! My kids and I were very impressed!! Experience was "fine." Service was quick and friendly, and the environment was pretty nice considering a remodel change. We just had dinner with our grandkids at The Brick! I must say that it's a fantastic family owned place with wonderful staff and delicious food! The pizzas were great! The wings were the best we have ever tasted in a restaurant setting and the presentation of the meatballs/pasta are very original and most importantly delicious! We ate pizza here and neither one of us liked it. My friend got a gluten free pizza and it had cauliflower crust which she hated. I got a pepperoni pizza. The crust was very thin and burnt. I could count on one hand how much pepperoni it had and it was so thin it seemed like I was eating a plain cheese pizza. The only thing that was good was the cheese on the pizza. I ate at The Brick a few weeks ago before they officially opened. The pizza was very tasty and the staff friendly and helpful. The only nit to pick wasn't food related. The room faces west and the wall was all windows. As a result it was a little warm inside but not quite hot. I've been looking for another pizza place in town because one I used to go to down the street started getting skimpy on the toppings. Great pizza options...two of us opted for traditional Carnivore and Pepperoni pizzas. I ordered "the Ruchetta" with arugula and prosciutto and felt like I was back in Italy! Seriously, my pizza was that good! If you are gluten free they've got you covered with the best gluten free crust I've ever had. The wait staff were super friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly and drinks were constantly refilled. It is a casual comfortable atmosphere and a great place to watch the game. Another reviewer mentioned it being warm in the patio area and it looks like they've addressed that with modifications to the windows. I've been looking forward to The Brick opening up for months and it has been well worth the wait! Some say the key to a great pizza is in the dough, others say the sauce, and yet others say the cheese. I certainly don't know what it is, but they have it figured out!
