Stopped in because we had just spent 7 hours on a plane between 2 flights, and the group was getting hangry. So not knowing the area, we turned in to a familiar chain. Not expecting gourmet, but consistency through the brand chain. There were some issues with the service, but a little thoughtful action got that squared away. Pizza was about average for the PH. Beer selection; scratch that, the lone beer choice available was an amber and was do-able; except for my Michelob Ultra carbonated alcohol water drinkin wife. The biggest issue was the apparent day care they run in one corner of the restaurant. There is a 2' tall plastic dog fence stretched out to section off the play area for the "wee-tots". This alone is troubling as about 15% of the dining area is confined behind the fence with toys and plastic balls strewn across the floor of that corner. The real issue came when several other customers came in with children; but these were not the wee-tots the area was designed for, theses kids were well into grade school. The ensuing banging, clanking, ball batting, and cacophony was ear splitting. I lost track of the number of times our meal was disrupted by a ball whiffing by. And trying to watch the football game that was on the TVs, forget it. They need to decide whether they want to sell pizza to families on nights out, or try and knock Chuck-E-Cheez outta the babysittin gig. When I left that place, I went straight to Fred Myers for some Tylenol. The rather adolescent wrecking the day care area in the photo has been blacked out to protect the identity of the guilty

HORRIBLE! If you cannot find a pile of road slush to eat first, then call Pizza Hut.

The food was mediocre. They got my order wrong and then proceeded to tell they would send someone with what I was missing. It never came.

I was very disappointed. The pizza wasn't cooked all the way. Not a fan of doughy crust!

The service is terrible and the management makes no effort to correct errors. I will never use this Pizza Hut again.

The waiter was rude and the pizza was raw. I would not recommend this restaurant unless you like to be treated badly.

this place is SOOO DIRTY, DIRTY, DIRTY. If the dining room has 3-4 months worth of dust in it I can't imagine the kitchen.

Okay pizza that is good for a change of pace. Unfortunately very little value due to the cost.

I've been going to pizza man since 1988 when we moved to Eagle River, it had long been the metric…read morewith which I've judged pizza. It was the pizza reference I grew up with when I came of age and learned what a pizza was. That said over the past years, the points we had amassed as we were weekly or every other week pizza na families and often multiple lunches per week at pizza man. That stopped after this last Thursday. We had a late evening of soccer, then a power outage occurred and we had no ability to cook, thought taking a pizza to go would be ok. We ordered and headed that way. Upon arriving, we asked to change our pick up order to a dine in option as the kids and I wanted drinks and sodas. The hostess said "that shouldn't be a problem, let me clean off a table and I can seat you." It seemed out of courtesy that she notified the server that she was seating an adult and three kids, "they already ordered their pizza just want drinks and salads too." The server, a shortish woman about 5'5" long curly dark hair some visible tattoos was told this. She turned and said to the hostess "they ordered to go, they get their pie and get outta here." I said "hold on, we haven't paid for anything yet, we just want to sit and eat and we will still pay for everything, even tipping, just don't want to eat pizza outdoors or in the car." Her response was "you shoulda thought of that before you placed an order, pay for your pizza and get outta here." While this was happening, there was another couple who had done the exact same thing in the front dining area-eating out of to go boxes as they too "changed their mind." I love pizza man I hated that server If you wonder why you're losing customers-look within the staff you've hired. I didn't pay for the pizza and it's unfortunate I said "this fucking place has gin so fucking far downhill from where you used to be." Literally a staple of the community and hiring shitbags and others who treat YOUR customers like shit. How fucking dare you. I'm sure I won't get the response I'm looking for. But I hope everyone who is thinking of going to pizza man reads this and rethinks paying any money to your business. It's so sad to see a company who was so great to a community succumb to greed and assholeism that is too prevalent in our society Politely Go fuck yourselves What sucks is that I have to even give A star so it'll work in some metric for yelp. No one at pizza man cares to comment and no manager wants to address this either. Pretty common for dirt bags

We both enjoyed the HUGE pile of fresh cut French fries and appreciated they kept our water glasses full. Friendly and prompt service, reasonable prices (for the state) and appears a great selection of beer (was a work lunch so will need to return for a cold one later)

Not only do they have a TON of taps. Pay no attention to some of the older reviews that specify the number of taps. The current number is now: 64. I'll say that again SIXTY-FOUR taps. If there is a place in the state of AK with more taps than that, I would like to know where it is. Currently, to my brain, this place is the current Sourdough Tap King. Anyway, not only do they have the MOST taps. They have some really unique stuff. There were beers on tap here that I've never even seen for sale at the larger Brown Jug warehouses! There are beers on tap I didn't even know were distributed in AK! Most impressive. The food, was just OK. I got some tacos and they were alright. They filled me up but weren't much to write home about. Given the Gambrinian fortitude on display here, I will definitely be back. It makes an excellent post-hike stop if you're up near Twin Peaks.

Overall 3.5 Stars…read more 3.25 Stars - Located in Eagle River in the business center next to Cold Stone, the pizza joint is a takeout only. No tables or chairs. There is a sliding frig to grab your can or bottled drinks. 4 Stars Located- Service - a couple of employees shared multiple duties as a cashier, server and cook. The lady who helped me was pleasant and friendly. She took my order and said it should be ready within 10 minutes. And it was! They were slightly busy w phone calls and people coming in and preparing the pizzas. I gave it a 4 star rating for how efficient and effective the two employees were. Working in tandem with a positive attitude. 3.75 Stars - Pizza I ordered the special, a 14" Pepperoni Pizza and within 10 minutes I had a hot and fresh pie. If Yelp had Smell-o-Vision, you would be drooling. So I figure I should do "taste test" to make sure the quality was on par! And it was! The crust was crunchy on the edge and bottom but had slight give when picking it up. It had enough resistance when tearing the crust with your teeth or fingers. The pie had a "ok" amount of pepperoni on it. Maybe three pepperoni on each slice and the mozzarella cheese melted evenly. The taste of the pepperoni was good and had a little bit of the grease you want on a pizza. Also, the tomato sauce had enough seasoning to tantalize your taste buds. The pizza is cooked in a oven, not a wood fire or charcoal oven but the bottom crust was cooked evenly and had enough cornmeal to coat the bottom. The dough is more of a thicker crust versus a thin crust. I think it would be called a "grandma's crust". It is somewhere between Neapolitan and Chicago style, It was light and fluffy and the dough bubbled up as it created air pockets in the hot oven. I would say it was in the oven about 6 minutes. I prefer a thinner crust and a little bit more pepperoni but I enjoyed and devoured it. Other items on the menu included different appetizers, wings, salads, and a few desserts. I recommend this place and will be back again.

Not the greatest, but very good. It reheats well and eats better than decent when cold. For $10.99 they have a large pepperoni that more than satisfies. I'm not normally a fan of the machine pressed stuff or the corn meal-replacing-the-flour-because-it's-less-messy-shtick, but, this one's not too bad and so they deserve the business. It's close by our new place, making it extremely convenient. The folks are friendly and fast. Perfect combo for us. We'll be back. 07/22

I've been a customer of Papa Murphy's since the late 90's! Whew, that's a long time. Of course…read morethat is not only the Eagle River location.... obviously... but it is where we go, since we are back in the area. It's by no means the only pizza we buy or enjoy but when we do, we are always satisfied. I'm also not a pizza snob and I freely admit that. It's a nice option too, when you aren't quite ready to eat, but don't want to go back out for take out. The disposable, single use pizza pan is nice... simply bake your pizza and throw it away. I feel like I personally have perfected baking a PMP and after the allotted baking time, I turn the broiler on low and brown the top, rotating and moving the pizza in the oven. It takes a few extra minutes, but it's worth it. I've never experienced raw or undercooked pizza... even when following just the instructions. I do find that a full price pizza is a bit spendy, but there are sooooo many coupons out there, it's kind of your own fault if you pay full price. A simple look in google and it's pretty easy to get a nice coupon code to order online. I like to order it to be picked up at a certain time, like when I'm on my way home from work, I know what time I'm going to be in the area. When I've decided on a whim to stop in, I've been offered a discount automatically and I've also asked if there are any specials... There are ALWAYS specials. They're generally pretty busy making pizza, and yes, it takes time to make pizza, even if they don't cook it. If I order and wait, they have always stopped and made mine. Within the last week, I've ordered twice online... once to drop a pizza, cookie dough and soda off at a friends house because he had just moved and I got a great deal! The toppings were plentiful and exactly what I ordered and ready when I arrived. The second time, a modified pizza for us to pick up on our way home... when I got to the car, I noticed it was missing a topping. I verified my order via email and walked back in. The young man was extremely apologetic, did not make excuses, a corrected the mistake quickly! Again, stopped making the two that he was working on, added my missed topping and I was on my way. It was an excellent pizza for what it is.
