We placed our order via the Pizza Hut app with a pick up time of 7:15. We were in NM at the time. As soon as we crossed over into Texas, it adjusted our pickup time to 8:15. Since we were passing through town, waiting the extra hour wasn't an option. As soon as I realized what had happened, I called the restaurant. Sorry, I didn't get the lady's name I spoke with, but she was very nice. She was able to get our order going for us and by the time we got there we only had to wait a couple of minutes. Dear Pizza Hut, Get better insurance for your employees as yours is being publicly noted as falling so short that managers are literally begging guests for non-taxed tips/contributions to cover deductibles at the end of the year (?). Posted everywhere in the restaurant is info on an employee's upcoming knee surgery. Multiple flyers begggggggggggg guests for help with the cost of the deductible. This looks unprofessional, and it is very telling about the insurance provided. Also, the tip jar (we tipped on a credit card, cash pulled from drawer, inserted into jar) was labeled knee surgery. Is the manager of this store taking employee tips for personal or medical reasons? I'm contacting corporate, and it's not just about the disgusting bathrooms. Recap: food-barely ok. Service-ok. Bathrooms-nasty. Begging for money at your work, taking tips, and raffling off food, etc from your store to cover a surgery? Audit worthy, stealing from corporate, PANDERING. If corporate approved you giving away their product, like any reasonable corporation, they would do a fundraiser for you. It's a tax write-off for them. Duh. Passing through Dalhart, TX last night after a grueling family road trip. We'd been traveling for hours and were hungry and tired. Stopped at this Pizza Hut 45 minutes before they closed... checked with the manager to see if we could still order a pizza, and she smiled and said of course. The food came out quickly...was hot and delicious...and then the manager surprised us with free chocolate chip cookies! She said she'd heard that we'd had a long day and wanted to make our evening better. It did! We were so grateful. Wonderful experience and staff! Thank you. read more

Not sure why this Pizza Hut has such bad reviews. Called them and asked if they delivered to the local RV park in Dalhart and they said "Yes we do!" Took my order over the phone very professionally, with great customer service. The food arrived promptly and was correct and it was absolutely delicious. Food was hot, done in 15 minutes and my kids made drooling noises over the new ultimate cheesy pizza. Personally, I thought the crust was a little too "buttery" but my kids (who rarely eat Pizza Hut) were in love and felt like it was some cheesy ambrosia or something. We waited in line for 30 minutes before someone came to the front to help. There were no clean tables to sit down at 1:45 pm. We didn't get our drinks refilled, one of our plates they gave us was dirty, and I had to go ask for silverware after they served us our pizza and pasta. First time we went here was a bust. Decided to give it a second chance today. Ordered online and sat waiting in the store 20 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. Walked in and the women at the register were grouped gossiping about another employee and a customer. Had to wait for them to finish their conversation to help me. Older woman walked off and started gossiping very loudly with who I can only guess what's her adult daughter. Finally got my order and not all of it was there. Food was fine, service was not. Passing through town and had my BF and his service dog with us. We wanted a pizza so we stopped in and ordered wings and a pizza. As we walked in the lady working the register told us, "you can't have that dog in here unless he is a service dog". We told her it was a service dog and and looked direct at my BF and told him, " I need him out!" I told her once again the dog was a service dog and she got an attitude. Moral of the story.....this is not a place with an employee that is sensitive to the medical needs of others who require a service dog. If you have one...keep driving its lot worth the hassle of explaining twice the service dog need. This will definitely be my last pit stop here. read more

I've experienced lots better from other Pizza Hut locations. How problems are handled determines my impression of an establishment. In a nutshell, delivered pizza was unsatisfactory. I called and was told I could wait over an hour for a replacement or pick it up myself in 30 mins. Neither option was satisfactory.... If it wasn't made correctly the first time, they should have made the replacement a priority. We'll be in the area again and I won't bother ordering from here. read more

Crowded, understaffed, overpriced. I guess when you're in Dalhart, your limited choice of restaurants equates to an experience like we had. The one saving grace was our waitress, who although clearly was responsible for too many tables at once, still tried to stay on top on things and be attentive. Pros: *Pizza was delivered hot to our table *Waitress was nice Cons: *Took 25 minutes to get our pizza *$5 cheese bread sticks were not nearly cheesy enough, and definitely not worth $5. *When we asked for a ¾ pepperoni / ¼ cheese pizza, we were told "I'm sorry, but we can't make them that way." Really? How hard is it to leave the pepperoni off of a quarter of a pizza?? Summary: If you want pizza and you want it now, and you happen to be in Dalhart, Texas, I guess this is the place to be. Got a delivery order here on my brief stay in Dalhart, it arrived on time. Everything fresh and hot. Only gave it 4 stars because they did not have any cheese/red pepper, which normally comes with the delivery. Everything else A-OK. Will order from here again.... read more

They sold me a lunch buffet then 5 minutes later said the lunch buffet was closed and they would not be adding any freash pizzas or pasta.

As a regular, I have to wonder why the service and quality have gone down in the past 2 years. With this being the better pizza choice in town I wouldn't chose either after tonights service. The food quality is what you would expect from a Wing Street and thats not saying much. They couldnt take our order right the 1st time. When we asked to have our order added too it took an additional 20 mins for the fries to finally arrive, the saving grace was that the waitress went ahead and comped the fries. The service was terrible to say the least. Our 1 refill was only after I asked another waitress for it while she was speeding away after dropping our wings off, and not placing to the right guest. The only other time we seen the waitress at our table was when she was trying to correct our order. That is not to say we see her talking and gossiping at the front booth for the remainder of our time. read more
