I remember when I was a teen in 2010, they used to deliver all the way out to us in Rockholds. Half of those times, it would get ordered and just never show up. They would say they are on their way when we would call and everything, then just leave us hanging. Now, 2025, the last 3-4 times we have tried to eat there on a completely random day and no matter what time, they are closed. Let's just say that after the first bite, I closed my eyes and enjoyed the flavors! The crust is light and fluffy and it had plenty of ingredients. It was big enough for 2 people to share, but (except for the bite that I gave my wife) I devoured the whole thing! Gondolier is what I would call a small chain restaurant. There are a few scattered around (even one in Sevierville, TN) but they are still small enough to always use top quality ingredients and keep their prices very affordable. There use to be one closer to me in Berea, KY, but unfortunately it closed. You may think this crazy to read, but Gondolier has one of the best cheeseburgers that I have ever had! Without a doubt, we will make the 45 minute drive one-way just to go eat at Gobdolier again and again.
