I look at reviews on Google and Yelp A lot of times just to base my decision on certain things at the time in October the reviews were mixed. So before I reviewed here I wanted to come back one more time and just make sure. So I come back here again parked at the pilot woke up decided to walk across the street and come have some fish. First thing walking over from last time the only difference I noticed is the lobster bites are gone. Boo! But they were only limited time only they should have kept them around they were really good. The coconut shrimp is still here though. Walking in first thing I noticed still the dining room was extremely clean the employees were quite cordial and I ordered up one of my favorites the two-piece fish. My side of course it comes with two hush puppies. I opted for the extra hush puppies for my other side but I only wanted five I limit myself they actually give you eight total six for a side order but I didn't need six I only needed three more I paid for it though it was fine. And that was a hungry and feeling like a pig so I also got a side snack of popcorn shrimp and Diet Pepsi. I paid my bill they said what size would you like I said I'd like a couple of packs of malt vinegar for my fish and some cocktail sauce for the shrimp. Nice here when you died in they bring it out to you you just sit down and they bring it to you after they give you your drink. And the other thing that sets Long John silver's offer some people either way positive or negative are the famous crunchy crumbles. That coat the bottom of your plate basically with the batter and the fried fish as it falls off and it's almost sort of like a potato chip sort of kind of thing. They brought the food out first thing I did was pop open a little packet of cocktail sauce and had a popcorn shrimp it was fresh cooked right there nice and hot. Same with the fish I came just before the lunch hour so the nice thing with all the fish it just got done too. Hush puppies were done nice and fresh everything was fresh and good and hot I was very impressed. Something I used to always order all the time but last time I decided to go with the lobster bites and just one piece of fish So feeling quite satisfied and quite full I decided I'm going to review this and updated for Yelp and I do believe I will be making an appearance here more often than every few years no doubt about it hopefully they keep on the good track and keep rolling right along. I was more than satisfied with my meal two times now I did have a dismal experience prior to covid but those employees are long gone. Better management. They definitely upped their game. The crab cake I ordered was also cold and overcooked. Usually this location has good food and when there is an adult supervising the service is decent. The young man that took my order spoke so low I had to ask him to keep repeating himself. The other "boys" that were working stood around talking to each other . The one young girl that was working just walked around with a deer in the headlights look. The boy that brought out my food had some of the largest hickeys all over his neck that I have ever seen. The saddest part? I paid $36.20 for a terrible meal. So disappointed. Won't be going back for awhile at that price.
