    Fried green tomatoes
    Joanna W.

First time eating here. Got the mushroom Philly cheesesteak. Comes with lean steak, onions mushrooms and cheese. Also ordered fried green tomatoes and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. All of the food was so delicious. One of the best sandwiches I have ever ate before. The tomatoes were crunchy just the way I like them. So juicy. Will definitely recommend this restaurant and would eat there again. Inside the restaurant was clean and food was cooked pretty quickly.

Horrible. Ordered the original Philly all I got is ground beef. And onions cooked in it. Bland and not good at all. Won't eat there again

I don't know how this is in tiny little Corbin, KY but I'm SO glad we found it via Yelp, & yet…read moreagain the great reviews were very trustworthy. We stopped in on a Saturday evening right after opening time, hoping we would be able to get a table. The place was mostly empty, but WOW was it gorgeous! So much decor, and not a speck of dust or cobwebs on any of it. Looked like a victorian era mansion inside the dining room they took us to. It was all autumnal decor, so beautiful! The place is probably an old department store or something with many different rooms, each with its own decor theme; lots of space for special events. Some families were seated in private rooms. I walked through several of the other rooms and they were all decorated for different holidays, Christmas & Halloween mostly. Although those rooms had a lot of kitschy decor, they were also very beautiful. There were giant carved fireplace mantles, grand pianos, a hall of mirrors, and gorgeous carved wood antique furnishings everywhere. We were coming from a family reunion & a trip to Cumberland Falls, so I feared we would be underdressed (and felt we were a bit), but the staff was very welcoming and we had no problem being seated. Several other diners were dressed very well, and others were wearing jeans and t-shirts. It appears to be a very popular date restaurant, and it would definitely be a great romantic spot for a special dinner. The server was quick, efficient and friendly and made good suggestions. We ordered side salads which arrived quickly and were beautifully arranged. Super fresh ingredients, and delicious dressings. My husband kept exclaiming it was the nicest side salad he's had anywhere, so he was apparently pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken piccata, and my unadventurous husband had a burger. He liked his burger, and ate most of it. My chicken piccata was excellent! The generously sized two pieces of chicken were a bit thicker than usual for piccata, but they were cooked perfectly. Crispy exterior, and very tender and flavorful on the inside. The sauce was a bit thicker than normal piccata sauce but man was it good, and they did not skimp on the capers, which is my favorite part of the dish! It was served over a delicious rice blend which went so well with the sauce and served as a nice foil to the rich saltiness of the chicken. I ate way more of it than I even intended to and was stuffed. As much as we ate for dinner, unbelievably, we forced room for dessert and got an amazingly good chocolate cream cake of some sort which had thick layers of whipped filling between layers of chocolate cake, all topped with ganache. It was like a homemade hostess ding-dong, except way more moist. We ate most of it, despite our full bellies. My husband also raved about this cake, which is unusual because he usually hates things with whipped fillings, but he loved the cake & we had it eaten in no time. Finally, when it was time to pay the bill, it was actually a lot more reasonable than many other places that aren't half as good. Server did a great job. We were super happy with our dinner experience, and both of us agreed that Seasons is a major blessing for downtown Corbin. We will definitely stop in again without hesitation. We walked off our meal by meandering around town in the beautiful evening weather, ending up a block or two away at the pinball museum, so we had a fun date night, all in downtown Corbin!

It's pretty dark inside but the lighting fixtures they have are very unique! Wear a lighter layer under your coat/sweater cause it is pretty toasty in there. Our waitress took our order only to find out the prime rib that was advertised out front wasn't available - so she retook everyone's order about 5 minutes later and what I assume was the manager came out to apologize. He stated that he kept reminding the staff to flip the specials out front, assuming this is a reoccurring problem. Three out of six ordered the cowboy ribeye (another advertised special) and it was the same quality you'd get going to Waffle House, unfortunately. The fat wasn't rendered properly leading to rubbery texture and there wasn't a proper sear. 2/10 The other three of us picked the bowl of potato soup (6/10), Philly Cheese Sandwich (9/10), and Shrimp Scampi (7/10). The potato soup was pretty standard and could've used a little more seasoning. When I took my leftovers home, I added onion & garlic powder, kinders the blend, and salt & pepper and it was perfect! Shrimp Scampi tasted good but the noodles were well past Al dente. Not a big deal for the person who ordered it but something to note if you're a texture person. Overall, it was mediocre service (I think our server was new) and hit or miss food. It would be a great place to stop and grab some drinks at the bar, though.

I had made reservations…read morethrough Open Table but since we got there at 5:30, it didn't appear that we needed reservations. We like sitting at the bar and there were only two other couples there so we chose that. BIG mistake! The poor guy (Devon, Darren, some D name) who was bartending was so laid back that he would forget what people had asked for and didn't quite grasp the concept of take an order, place an order. We wanted recommendations but he had none. I was like what?? Ok well we will try the pot stickers as an appetizer while we figure it out. So he went to ring that in after he did a shot with the couple next to us. Yep, that happened! He brought us our beer and wine about 15 minutes later and we told him for dinner we will try the lemon chicken pasta and meatloaf with mashed potatoes and macaroni & cheese. My husband asked if it came with gravy and he said "Nope". So I said we can we get some? "Nope". Alrighty then. The bar started filling up and the couple that sat next to us said the hostess claimed there was a 40 minute wait for a table. All I can figure is they are short staffed. The place is actually quite large with several booths and an overflow room that was empty. So 20 minutes later we are wondering about that appetizer when we see a girl place a large tray on the bar and walk away. Dilbert, Dewayne or whatever his name was eventually makes it over and brings every single thing we ordered at once! He laughed and said well here's all your food. The pasta was good, the meatloaf was dry (shocker) and the best thing was the Mac n cheese. $82 bucks in all and yes we did tip. We should have stopped an exit before and gone to Texas Roadhouse. Pretty disappointing.
