Just finished a spicy barbecue chicken pizza here...Delicious! The band is pretty good on a Friday night, and they have a bigger beer selection than I expected, too. I just wish Bite Squad would add them, they need a good pizza place here in Powell. read more

Pizza Hoss - Awesome spicy BBQ Chicken pizza at Pizza Hoss - Pizza Near Me - Powell, Tennessee

Decent pizza for this area, though when I go in to pickup, it always seems like the place is in chaos and they don't have a clue as to what or who. Again - good on a pinch, but they're better places around. read more

Love the pizza! Always perfectly cooked, with fresh ingredients. Big selection of items, always completely satisfied with every dish I try.

In town for a short trip and had to try this local pizza shop after a friend recommended it. I've never been a big fan of the local pizza here so my expectations weren't too high. As I sat on my bed at the Scottish Inn and dug into the pizza while catching up on some work, I was delightfully surprised! The toppings were generous and full of flavor, and the dough was just addictive. I'm glad I'm not on a low-carb diet! For dessert I had cinnamon knots that I just could not put down. I'm so glad I can finally find some good pizza here when I'm in town! Thank you Pizza Hoss! read more

Pizza Hoss - Delicious pizza on my makeshift hotel plate... - Pizza Near Me - Powell, Tennessee

I would put this up there in the top five places for pizza in town. Only been here once and was quite impressed. It's basically a sports bar and they did have a nice selection of craft beer on tap. We had their garlic knots and they were superb! Plus, it was happy hour so they were only three bucks. We got "The Big Show" pizza (sausage and pepperoni) and damn, it had real ingredients and real taste! A little pricey, but worth it. Think for two sodas, garlic knots, pizza our tab was right at 23 bucks. Very nice and personable server, love supporting local, family joints like this. They do have live entertainment, music and comedy shows. I think they put on their comedy shows the first Thursday of the month, the next one is on the tenth of November if you get a chance to check it out. read more

Pizza Hoss - Be warned! - Pizza Near Me - Powell, Tennessee

Tried the Sweet N Spicy pizza, Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, garlic knots, funnel cake fries and cinna knots. It was all so tasty! The dough they make is very good and everything was made to order perfectly. Delivery was right on time. read more

Not very good. Another failed experiment. Back to the same old pizza places. I will be so glad when Knoxville gets good pizza. I wasted $36.01 on 2 pizzas. Edit: Knoxville has a few great pizza places, just not in Powell. Hard Knox Pizza 5 stars. Tomatohead 5 stars. This place was not a very good pizza experience. read more

After reading several good and mixed reviews I was intrigued to try Pizza Hoss for the first time. The guy who took our order was very patient as we searched for our credit card. I crested my own Master Piece-ordered a small pizza with Chorizo, garlic, green peppers, onions and jalapenos with a side antipasto salad with fresh cut tomatoes, olives, ham, pepperoni with shredded mozzarella cheese. It was my first time to try Chorizo which is a spicy pork sausage that has many different varieties and is eaten all over Spain. Boy, it adds a bold amazing taste that goes wonderfully with green peppers, onion and melted cheese. The dough is a definite Pizza Hoss one of a kind. EPIC Pizza. Garlic Pops! Great Italian dressing and fresh veggies in the salad rock. read more

My wife and I lived here for nearly 6 years and could never find what we considered a good quality pizza. We recently discovered Pizza Hoss on Facebook and this is the best pizza you will find in Knoxville. The ingredients are high quality and the pizza is to die for. I highly recommend the Kitchen Sink special read more

Ryan and team always provide top notch service, wonderful pizza, but we have fell in love with the Wings too!! Thank you for providing a wonderful dining experience in Powell and Live music on Fridays!! read more

These guys always make me feel welcome and their thin crust pizza is amazing. That pepperoni and banana pepper pizza is amazing

I'm serious about my pizza. That being said this place was spectacular. It was very delicious. I will definitely be getting my pizza here every week. read more

Pizza was on the menu tonight. We've never been to Pizza Hoss so it was the destination. Pizza Hoss has live entertainment and Mike Snodgrass was on the mic this Friday. Naughty Scotty of The Kincaid Band was in attendance so that spoke well for the entertainment and Mr. Snodgrass didn't disappoint. The place was clean and the atmosphere was nice. Plenty of taps offering a good beer selection. We ordered some Sweet Chili Wings and a "Kitchen Sink" Pizza. The wings were awesome! Some of the best we've had in the area. The pizza was good too. Fresh ingredients on a good crust. A bit light on the sauce for my taste but I'm not complaining. All in all it was a good meal with great entertainment and service. We'll be back. read more

Tried this place for the first time since they're a local, family run business. We had the Cheese and the Big Hoss, which were a hit with my picky kids. This is better than any local pizza, and way better than any chain. The price was a little more than pizza chains but it was well worth the difference. The ingredients tasted fresh and seemed to be high quality. We were told the delivery wait was long but at an hour it was about the same as anywhere else on a Friday night. I will order from here again and make it a point to dine in soon. read more

Good pizza friendly staff. I feel a little expensive for the size of the pizza. Ingredients where very good. Maybe the happy hour prices are better but only if you eat in. read more

Love their Buffalo chicken on cauliflower crust! It's hard to find good gluten free pizza!

Just got my $58.00 order. Did not get the right items. Called business and after 15 minutes they finally agreed to send out correct item. No apology, nothing. Will never order from them again. Their customer service stinks. read more

I haven't ordered takeout in 6 months because of covid 19. I just had to have a pizza! I ordered the kitchen sink. I was not disappointed. It felt like it was the best pizza I've ever had. So good. Crust perfect. Ingredients perfect. The cheese blanket sealed the deal. Highly recommended. I would give it 10 stars! read more

Best Pizza in Knoxville! Awesome shows weekly. Great service! COLD BEER! I have yet to order anything that was not hmm mm Tasty! The garlic knots are to die for. The salads are always fresh and Delicious. The Cheese Blanket oh yeah!!! read more

Great pizza and the best garlic knots! They catered our team party and did a great job. Very personal service. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite pizza places for delivery at the moment. You've got to try their Sweet-n-Spicy. I'm not a big fan of Hawaiian pizza, so I was hesitant when my girlfriend ordered it, but this pizza hit on every taste bud in my mouth, and I think we've now got a thing going on. After that amazing feeling, add their soft puffy sweet Cinnamon Knots with heavenly cream cheese icing (to dip them in) at the end, and it felt as though romance was in the air and I was catching feelings. The staff, especially the delivery drivers are always so nice and prompt with your order. read more

Our family loves Pizza Hoss! Their fresh ingredients are wonderful, and they have the best gluten-free crust in town (regular crust is awesome, too). read more

If I could give this place 10 billion stars, I would. I like to call myself a pizza hoss OG...been dining with them since they started out, in 2012 I believe??? Since then, they have transformed from carry out only into a sports bar...but one thing has remained constant: THEIR AWESOME FOOD AND AWESOME SERVICE. Justin the owner is hands down a great guy! Super friendly....he knows how to run a business. All of his employees have that same character which is why I'm sure they are a part of the team in the first place. If you want some super unique pizza and great friendly people, please do not hesitate to support this local business. try the badmamajama or the big hoss. Salads are really good too...FRESH ingredients, no prepackaged stuff here. read more

Great place to listen to live music and have a salad, wings, garlic knots and pizza! O'yeah a beer or two! The owner is nice and all the servers are great! You can't go wrong for lunch or dinner! Check it out!!!! read more

Great pizza, the dough is key. The toppings are fresh and delicious. Been here a few times and have always been satisfied. They have a lot of cold beers on tap and live music on weekends. The owner is really cool, you won't be disappointed by the food, and the great beer choices. read more

Great pizza place! Great beer selection on tap. Pizza was excellent, as was the garlic knots and the service. Pizza Hoss has the best pizza in Powell. Will definitely return! read more

Yesterday was our first time eating from Pizza Hoss. It definitely will not be our last. The food was amazing. The Hoss Special with the Cheese Blanket was great. As were the Hoss style of wings. A mix of hot and BBQ. The cheese bread was the best we've ever had. It is a little more expensive than the chain pizza places but worth every penny. read more

My first visit to Pizza Hoss and will be my last. Very disappointed in the size of the pizza (large looked more like a medium), the quality of the ingredients, the amount of toppings and the overall taste for a $17 pizza. Too many pizza places around that are a much much better value and better quality pizza for the price. We got "The Big Hoss" and it was about like a Digornio's. read more

Fantastic! Get the garlic knots, great price for the amount of product you get. Pizza is great, I had the big Hoss, which is pepperoni, Italian sausage, and cheese. Highly recommend this place! read more

Very good pizza and the garlic knots are to die for! Great atmosphere with multiple tv's. A+++

Not a fancy place, but good food and great service. The manager, Ryan, was great! He made sure all customers were well taken of and personally took care of us. The owner should take great comfort in knowing Ryan is overseeing the restsurant. read more

Great friendly place to hang out, have dinner, watch sports and listen to music. Had garlic knots previously (delicious!) and on our last visit yesterday we tried gluten free great pizza wit lots of veggies, wings and kids had half baked cookie. All really delicious. Staff is fantastic; very friendly and knowledgeable. Cold beer. Clean bathrooms. What more can you need? ;) Highly recommend! read more

Met friends there last night. Pizza and service were both great! Lots of big screen TVs. Wish I lived closer.

Order from here last week and I would have to say that it was one of the best pizzas we have had since we have moved to the knoxville area. The employee that too the order was extremely helpful and courteous. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 out of 5 is that it took some time to deliver it, however, they were extremely apologetic. I think we have found our new pizza place. read more

Was on the west side of town looking for pizza, decided if we're gonna try someplace new we would take back roads over to Pizza Hoss! Great cheese bread and the Hoss Special was delicious, couple that with great live music and craft IPA. Winner! read more

By far the best pizza in Knoxville. The staff is amazing and the food is even better.

I was really let down with my experience here a month or so ago. I had really wanted to try Pizza Hoss, as I'd heard some good things about it and the reviews, for the most part, were good. The girl who took my order over the phone told me she was new, so I didn't mind that it took a while to get all of my information. She actually entered my address incorrectly (in itself not a huge deal, mistakes are mistakes). I received a call an hour after placing my order telling me they couldn't deliver to my area. This is when we got the address mixup straightened out; and although I was a little annoyed at this not being figured out for an hour (when quoted 40 mins for delivery) i was still ready to wait for the pizza until I heard someone in the background instructing the girl to tell me " that is still just barely inside our delivery area but we will do it this one time". Wow. that's welcoming. Either do it or don't; don't do me any favors. When the pizza got here another hour later, it was just warm, and very, very greasy. I was really underwhelmed and disappointed by the whole experience, especially because I'd wanted to support a local establishment vs a chain. At least the chains near me don't deliver to my house begrudgingly, and most all of them can get a pizza delivered in under 2 hours. I honestly think if i'd been able to eat the pizza right away, when hot and fresh, it still would just be mediocre. The prices weren't bad if they pizza had actually been good/experience good. read more

The terrible customer service deterred me from actually ordering. The telephone operator was rude, short and clearly should abandon all hope of a bright future in customer service. I will never order from them! read more

The pizza is typical, love the garlic knots, service is good, but the staff do not wash their hands! Gross! Sanitation trumps all so be wearing if u fear food poisoning read more
