I would put this up there in the top five places for pizza in town. Only been here once and was quite impressed. It's basically a sports bar and they did have a nice selection of craft beer on tap. We had their garlic knots and they were superb! Plus, it was happy hour so they were only three bucks. We got "The Big Show" pizza (sausage and pepperoni) and damn, it had real ingredients and real taste! A little pricey, but worth it. Think for two sodas, garlic knots, pizza our tab was right at 23 bucks. Very nice and personable server, love supporting local, family joints like this. They do have live entertainment, music and comedy shows. I think they put on their comedy shows the first Thursday of the month, the next one is on the tenth of November if you get a chance to check it out. read more

In town for a short trip and had to try this local pizza shop after a friend recommended it. I've never been a big fan of the local pizza here so my expectations weren't too high. As I sat on my bed at the Scottish Inn and dug into the pizza while catching up on some work, I was delightfully surprised! The toppings were generous and full of flavor, and the dough was just addictive. I'm glad I'm not on a low-carb diet! For dessert I had cinnamon knots that I just could not put down. I crested my own Master Piece-ordered a small pizza with Chorizo, garlic, green peppers, onions and jalapenos with a side antipasto salad with fresh cut tomatoes, olives, ham, pepperoni with shredded mozzarella cheese. It was my first time to try Chorizo which is a spicy pork sausage that has many different varieties and is eaten all over Spain. Pizza was on the menu tonight. We've never been to Pizza Hoss so it was the destination. Pizza Hoss has live entertainment and Mike Snodgrass was on the mic this Friday. Naughty Scotty of The Kincaid Band was in attendance so that spoke well for the entertainment and Mr. Snodgrass didn't disappoint. The place was clean and the atmosphere was nice. Plenty of taps offering a good beer selection. We ordered some Sweet Chili Wings and a "Kitchen Sink" Pizza. The wings were awesome! Some of the best we've had in the area. The pizza was good too. Fresh ingredients on a good crust. A bit light on the sauce for my taste but I'm not complaining. All in all it was a good meal with great entertainment and service. We'll be back. read more

Tried this place for the first time since they're a local, family run business. We had the Cheese and the Big Hoss, which were a hit with my picky kids. This is better than any local pizza, and way better than any chain. The price was a little more than pizza chains but it was well worth the difference. The ingredients tasted fresh and seemed to be high quality. We were told the delivery wait was long but at an hour it was about the same as anywhere else on a Friday night. One of my favorite pizza places for delivery at the moment. You've got to try their Sweet-n-Spicy. I'm not a big fan of Hawaiian pizza, so I was hesitant when my girlfriend ordered it, but this pizza hit on every taste bud in my mouth, and I think we've now got a thing going on. After that amazing feeling, add their soft puffy sweet Cinnamon Knots with heavenly cream cheese icing (to dip them in) at the end, and it felt as though romance was in the air and I was catching feelings. I was really let down with my experience here a month or so ago. I had really wanted to try Pizza Hoss, as I'd heard some good things about it and the reviews, for the most part, were good. The girl who took my order over the phone told me she was new, so I didn't mind that it took a while to get all of my information. She actually entered my address incorrectly (in itself not a huge deal, mistakes are mistakes). I received a call an hour after placing my order telling me they couldn't deliver to my area. This is when we got the address mixup straightened out; and although I was a little annoyed at this not being figured out for an hour (when quoted 40 mins for delivery) i was still ready to wait for the pizza until I heard someone in the background instructing the girl to tell me " that is still just barely inside our delivery area but we will do it this one time". Wow. that's welcoming. Either do it or don't; don't do me any favors. When the pizza got here another hour later, it was just warm, and very, very greasy. I was really underwhelmed and disappointed by the whole experience, especially because I'd wanted to support a local establishment vs a chain. At least the chains near me don't deliver to my house begrudgingly, and most all of them can get a pizza delivered in under 2 hours. I honestly think if i'd been able to eat the pizza right away, when hot and fresh, it still would just be mediocre. The prices weren't bad if they pizza had actually been good/experience good. read more
