tasty Calzone

Food came out fast and hot. Very tasty and decently affordable. Big shoutout to David, impeccable service.

Decided to randomly order pizza at 10 pm on a Friday night. This location has many options and list of toppings. If you're craving something garlic-y, with chicken, and light veggies, then don't sleep on the California garlic chicken pizza. The take out experience was as expected, pizza itself was perfected baked, and toppings had plenty of flavor. For a late night craving, this hits the spot.

Extra thin crust for a low carb delight.

Tis was the night of Christmas and all through the house a furry creature was stirring, but it wasn't a mouse. The kitten with her mittens lay curled by the fire while the stomachs were whispering "Sire! Sire!" The Pizza Guys were called to fulfill the heart's desire for an extra thin crust half kalamata olives/green peppers half red onions/jalapeños. A Mediterranian salad rounded out the meal. But wait! The Yelp Christmas check-in deal of butter pecan ice cream and a 2 liter of Sierra Mist elevated the spirits further and further. It was all delivered with a smile! Thanks Pizza Guys for a pleasant addition to the festivities. Pro-tip: This would also be appropriate for Festivus celebrations.

I had never had Pizza Guys before tonight, so this is just sort of a random jumble of thoughts as I'm finishing up eating: It was better than Domino's, about the same bread/filling quality as Little Caesar's, but was also a little more expensive than I expected for the quality. We got a double pepperoni that had a normal amount of pepperoni on the pizza. Between my boyfriend and I, we killed a Large in one sitting so it wasn't exactly the most filling pie in the world. We also got the garlic cheese bacon breadsticks. Those were pretty awesome. Very cheesy! It comes with a large side of marinara or ranch or garlic sauce, too. On top of everything else, we got the cinnamon sticks for dessert (we go all out when we try a new place). Now, I'm not a huge pizza snob. But I did work for a pizza parlor for a few years and know a thing or too about quality. And I may be biased because the place that I worked for had the best dessert sticks ever, but the cinnamon sticks were literally the equivalent of Jack in the Box churros, except less flavorful. I was very disappointed. Some extra perks were that they had awesome coupon deals (I don't think I would want to pay full price for their pizza), and we got a free 2-liter of soda for picking up our order! And the service wasn't bad either. We ordered online but when we picked up our order the guy at the front was nice and helpful. Overall, we might go back, we might not. Nothing really stood out about their pizza that would call me back for more, but nothing completely turned me off of it either.

First had pizza guys when a rep brought it for lunch to our office and I was quite impressed. The though is on the thinner side, and they balance the sauce and toppings just right so the crust stays crispy, and the toppings are moist. The ingredients seem and taste fresh and they aren't overly salty or seasoned like a lot of the other establishments. I came here for pick up, the location is a little weird but it's behind the gas station next to the quick stop, they have proper covid protocols in place and they even threw in a 2 liter for picking up. Overall good pizza, large combination ran me about $29 and change.

Pizza arrived well undercooked 3/4 raw dough, so I put in in the over for another 8 mins @425... As I began to eat the pizza again after 2 bites I saw a dark very course hair appearing to be a Pubic hair I pulled out of the cheese...Maybe from someone with really thick course curly beard hair, but looks like genital hair...either way I cant eat it after that...They offered to make me another one or $5 off my next order...dont think they'll be a next time...

Smitty's is my new go-to wing spot in Stockton!! I've been wanting to try them for quite some time…read moreever since I saw they were featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and the fact that they are a local black owned business so I definitely wanted to support. The place was packed with a huge party and they had all of the TV's on showing the games, the ambiance was great and what you would expect from a pizza/wing place. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door and the owner was very nice and answered all of my questions eagerly. I had so many questions about the flavors and spice levels. They have about 12 sauce/rub flavors and they all sound so yummy so it was hard trying to figure out what to choose. I decided to try the ranch wings and the garlic chile wings while my dad tried plain, garlic chile and teriyaki as well as the garlic parmesan fries. I like that the kitchen is open and you can see the food being prepared right in front of you. You can see the pizza being made and the fresh dough being prepared. The food was ready in a reasonable amount of time considering how packed it was. The wings were a nice size, pretty big and were fried to perfection. I actually had mine fried hard (well done) as I like them super crispy and that they were. I really loved the garlic chile wings, they had a nice garlic flavor to them and a little heat but not overwhelming. The sauce was thick and tangy, very flavorful. The ranch wings were pretty good as well, I believe it's just plain wings with homemade ranch drizzle on them. They were good and the flavor of the ranch was very good and unique. The only item that I wasn't too fond of were the garlic parmesan fries, while they were crispy and cooked to perfection that garlic parmesan flavor was lacking. It seemed to be only parmesan as I didn't taste the garlic and it tasted a little on the sweet side which threw me off. Probably would just get the regular fries next time. Overall, the customer service was great and the food was great. The prices were a little on the high side but I would say it was worth it. I will definitely be back for those yummy wings and to try their pizza as well.

I wanted to wait to try this place in person until I write my review but at the point if I don't…read morewrite it I will forget. I ordered this place online. I wanted to speak to a real person to place my order since it was my first time and I had a few questions but when I called, the woman who answered very rudely told me she does not take to go orders over the phone, I tried to order half and half online but it didn't give me an option so I asked her how can I order half and half and she told me how but she was extremely rude so I contemplated even ordering from this place but my husband advised me that it is black owned so I wanted to support. We order a cheese and pepperoni pizza half and half and wings. The order came still hot and the pizza was okay, not bad but nothing to brag about. The wings however, we're very good! I mean delicious and I hardly ever have high expectations for wings at a pizza joint but they were bomb! I wanted to try in person to get a better feel for the service and pizza so I might update this review!

Yum! Fire Wings never disappoint!…read more Hubby wanted to try Fire Wings and opted for a "healthier" option by ordering an extra side of veggies lol. I wanted to try their fries, but okay, let's be rabbits for the week! We got 20 classic wings with Louisiana Rub, Lemon Pepper, and Saigon Street. All the wings were seasoned well except for the Louisiana Rub, which hubby said was a bit salty. However, he liked that they weren't as oily compared to Wingstop, and honestly, I noticed it too. The wings weren't dry and were a good size. We did takeout again, so I can't comment on the service or parking. Overall, we like Fire Wings in Elk Grove, and we'll definitely order again from their Stockton location.

We politely brought it to an employee's attention and explained the situation nicely. Instead of addressing the seriousness of serving undercooked chicken, they only offered to remake the two wings we returned. After bringing the replacement, the manager then approached us about paying for drink cups that had already been handed to us. The issue was not about the drinks -- it was the fact that we could not even comfortably enjoy our meal because we were worried about getting sick from raw chicken. The lack of concern, apology, or accountability from management was honestly the most disappointing part of the experience.

I wanted to sample the taquitos and the pulled pork so I ordered the taquitos as a shareable plate and the pulled pork as the light lunch option. The sandwich was thick with the juiciest chicken. I loved the garlic fries. They were super garlicky with a crispy cheese on top. The fries are thin and crinkle cut. They were the perfect mix of crispy yet juicy. One thing to note, if you order for pickup, make sure to arrive promptly because the food can get pretty soggy otherwise. The side sauce was pretty good too. I wish there was an online substitution option though because I'd prefer something like ranch instead. This spot's prices are a touch higher compared to restaurants in the area but the quality and portions really justify it. The employees are incredibly kind. When I stopped by to pickup my order, there was an employee cleaning the outside patio who immediately stopped what she was doing to open the door for me, went inside and washed her hands before even handing me the bag. The small details like this really make the experience so much better. It is especially reassuring to see how sanitary they are here too. Despite looking a bit small from the outside, it it quite spacious and modern inside. It has that modern hipster restaurant feel. On a warm day, it would be nice to sit under their covered patio. I will be returning to try more of their menu!

Wonderful Experience - Spice It Up Heavenly Beef…read more I had a wonderful experience with Spice It Up Heavenly Beef. The beef was incredibly tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned with a rich blend of spices that truly lived up to the name "heavenly." Every bite was savory and satisfying, with just the right balance of heat and aroma. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and the dish was cooked to perfection. When we arrived, our tables were set up and we sat down. The restaurant looked clean and there were a few patrons eating and some picking up food to go. Let me start off with saying that the food was really good. It was fresh and seasoned just right. We ordered the beef skewers, pineapple fried rice, basil fried rice, a couple of different curries, and sweet and sour fish. In regard to the service, it looked like there were only 2 employees working that day, the cook and an employee who was the cashier/server/table busser. This employee was friendly and did the best she could, but it was a lot for her to perform all of these roles. Our food was brought out in waves, a few dishes at a time. She hardly came over to check on us or refill our waters unless I asked. We ordered more food and it was a while before more food came out. When we were finished, the cook came out and introduced himself. He told us he was the only cook. This probably explained why our food didn't come out all together and why it took so long. I suppose that on a typical Saturday afternoon, one cook would have been enough. I would like to think that if I made the reservation sooner, they could have planned for enough help. Overall, our group experience was not the greatest. The food was certainly good. The service could use a lot of improvement. I'm sure if you don't go with a group, you'd be fine.
