I hate to admit that I've lived in Beavercreek for this long and have never stepped foot into this place! Pizza is !! Wow it's good, and we even kept it simple with half cheese and half pepperoni. But they have all sorts of different options for gourmet style pizzas. While dining in they also bring you out dough bites, sort of like bread stick bites but very light bread for free! Like chips and salsa at a Mexican restaurant, very impressed with that! But what I was most impressed with was their Carry-Out business, so many people in and out of that place with Carry-Out orders. I have mixed feelings about this pizza place. First, the positive: I think they have a delicious buffalo chicken pizza. Definitely the best I've tasted around here. They also seem to have a variety of selections, which is nice for families and to try different foods. The Negative: The pricing is outrageous. For instance, two large pizzas, such as a buffalo pizza and a a large pizza with sausage and pepperoni, puts the bill around $43. That, truly, is crazy. Two pizzas should never cost nearly $45. Even top end Pizza joints like Giordano's in Chicago just hit that mark. If they lowered their prices, I would go there more frequently. For now, it's a once in a while place for me, which is a shame because we love to eat pizza. But I cannot justify paying such high prices for a pizza, it's not THAT good to warrant the price. read more

We love the friendly staff and excellent pizza from Beavercreek Pizza Dive. We've tried several of their pizzas, salads, and sides, and have not been disappointed in the service, price, or food. It's also nice to know we are supporting a local business that is very involved in the community and supports charitable organizations like Feed the Creek. That's worth a lot IMO. Customer service is a big deal to me, there just aren't enough places out there that get it right, they might have great food but the follow through is lacking, not the case with the Beavercreek Pizza Dive! Not only is the food fantastic but they really care about their customers and strive to make things right. They offer authentic New York style pizza, have great lunch specials (even sell by the slice during lunch hours), pretzels are out of this world good, and they care about their customers. I used to live in NYC and since moving to Dayton have missed good pizza. Not sure why Dayton thinks their pizza is good but it just isn't. so instead of eating really bad pizza all the time I started a hunt for real pizza. Then one day on the way to work I drove by a place called roc-a-fellas (now pizza dive) and had to stop in. Fell in love on first taste. Slightly sweet crust with a hint of garlic. Small dining area, buffet on Monday nights, and slices at lunch time makes it my go to pizza place. So long bad Dayton pizza. read more

Having come from NYC for graduate school, my expectations for high-quality pizza were quite hard to meet. After many fruitless, disappointing trials, I finally discovered Beavercreek Pizza Dive this past spring. This place has hands down the best tasting pizza in town! Feelings of nostalgia quickly set in after looking at, and taking my first bite out of the pie. I was so surprised and overcome with joy that I have been raving about this place nonstop to all my friends ever since. So of course this was the first place that came to mind when the organization I am a part of at school decided to order pizza for an event. As we are all poor graduate students, I contacted the place to see if they could give us the Tuesday buy 1 get 1 free deal on the Thursday we were holding the event. The staff courteously and enthusiastically gave me the owner, Teresa's e-mail. Much to my surprise, Teresa decided to generously donate the pizza! This led me to become even more interested in them as a business. After a quick Google search, I discovered that they have participated in other fundraising activities around the community. So even if you do not appreciate NY style pizza, you should definitely give this place your support. Trust me and try it- you wont regret it! read more

This place is one heck of a deal and it sure beats going to one of the chains. I ordered two 18" (X-Treme) pizzas for a family gathering, they promised it would be ready in about 15 minutes and they were true to there word. Cost per pizza was about $25 each however they almost always have coupons on the paper and if not you can go to there web site. Everyone liked the pizza so I suspect in the future this will become our preferred pizza joint. read more

Our only wish is that they would pre cook the green peppers and mushrooms ahead of putting them on the pizza to cook. Veggies seemed a bit undercooked and crunchy. Dive would be the right name alright. From the outside it looked like we were in for some trouble, but we could not have been more pleasantly surprised! We got the veggie pizza + sausage and it was delicious! The fresh flavorful ingredients coupled with the light full crust was spectacular! They also bring out yummy little balls of bread with some sweet coating that might have been honey. The crust was my favorite, idk how they got it so light and airy while still keeping the fullness, totally satisfying my ranch dipping craze. This is without a doubt out new favorite pizza place! Conclusion: Not going back. Pizza was not very good, and they ripped me off. MAKE SURE THIS PLACE DOES NOT GIVE YOU A 16 INCH PIZZA FOR THE PRICE OF THEIR 18 INCH (see major complaint below). I'm a little suspicious about the good yelp reviews about this place because of my bad experience. If you look at the substantial majority of the really good reviews, most of people haven't reviewed many places. Just saying. There are 20 reviews to date. 12 of 20 of those reviews are 5/5. Of those 12 people, 6 of them reviewed less than 11 places, and only two reviewed more than 30 places. I guess time will tell. I checked out the yelp reviews and thought I would give this place a try since it was only about 5 minutes from my friends house. The three of use were pretty excited to try it out. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! First, the pizza is really not that good. Way overrated. On quality alone, I would give it at most no more than a 2/5. Also, it was not worth the near $20 for an 18 inch pie. We all wished we ordered Cousin Vinny's for quality, and especially price. It's pretty hard to beat the "Big 10 Special" from cousin vinny's. CV is by no means fantastic, but its better. We all agreed. MAJOR COMPLAINT: We ordered the so-called "18 inch extreme" with pepperoni, and half mushrooms, and half banana peppers. This pizza was only 16 inches AND NOT THAT EXTREME. I'm P.O. because I ordered and paid for an 18 inch. That's not what I got. This is when keeping it real went wrong. The box seemed kind of small when I paid, but I didn't really realize it until I opened it up. All my friends were like there is no way that is an 18 inch pizza, and sure enough, it wasn't. Not sure what kind of tape measure they are using over there. MAYBE ITS THE SAME RULER SUBWAY USED TO MEASURE THEIR SUBS WHEN THEY GOT SUED FOR A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. read more

Another pizza place to try. Always looking for the perfect pie. There are several pretty good ones around, but there is always something that keeps me from giving five stars. This place is pretty good. (It actually reminds me of a place down in Centerville, and i think they may be related, or perhaps share some common pizza genealogy.) Crust is decent. Tasty enough, just too soft. Very much like one of the chain's. Needs more "chew" and to be more crisp on the outside, chewey on the inside. Cheese, sauce, toppings all first-rate. As I have pointed out now more than once, much of the crust problem comes from the type of oven that is used. Pizza has to be baked on a hearth. It can be gas, coal, wood, whatever, but that contact with a stone deck makes all the difference in the world. This place uses one of those conveyor ovens. They are inferior. They don't get hot enough to do a proper bake of a pizza. Next time I may ask for a little longer bake time, and I will definitely skip the garlic slosh on the crust after baking. It isn't needed. Nice folks run the place. I'll be back, but I'm still looking for perfection without having to drive to Columbus, or even further. read more

Price: $10.65 Size: 12" Despite coming in 30 minutes before closing time, we immediately felt welcome to come and stay awhile at this small, neighborhood pizzeria. The waitstaff was phenomenal: server Teresa was wonderful from the time we took our order to when we left. She joked around, was very personable, and made us feel at home. When we sat down, she made sure we had everything we needed, and were well taken care of as we waited for our pizza. After a brief wait of 10 or 15 minutes, our pizza was served fresh from the oven. If you like a thin, crispy crust with cheese melted to perfection, you're going to want to DIVE into this! Once you try this pizza, there is no going back! It's a perfect balace of cheese and red sauce with a hint of sweetness unique to this establishment. The pizza's two vices was that it was very greasy, but a quick dab with a napkin served as an easy solution; and the title "New York Pizza" can misleading--though the taste and style are accurate, the size is lacking in comparison to a REAL New York pie. But for friendly atmosphere, highly accommodating staff, and a "New York style pizza with an Ohio twist", this is the place to be. read more

I really really love this place. The sugary salty garlic butter is the most unique and delicious addition to pizza crust I've ever had. really. And the monday night buffet is so stinking fun! you can taste all of those amazing pizza combos you never dared order by yourself OR they'll custom make you any combo you want. The BLT, cheeseburger, and bomber were my favorites! the bread bites are to die for. It's such the perfect spot for NY style pizza. Oh- and my kids LOVE this place. I've been to Beavercreek Pizza Dive twice now, and as much as I wanted to like it, I just don't. The inside of the restaurant is in need of repair. The seats of the booths are cracked and paint is chipping off the walls. During my most recent visit (earlier this week), I opted for the lunch special. The price is definitely fair as the slices are quite large. I got a slice of the pepperoni and a slice of the supreme. The pepperoni slice only had about five pieces of small pepperoni on it, and the cheese was kind of hard. The supreme was a little better, but not by much. It's not specified anywhere, but the mushrooms used are from a can, which I'm definitely not a fan of. I also tried a pretzel with cheese. The pretzel was pretty dry, so I only ate a small piece. The cheese served with the pretzel is just standard "nacho" cheese from a can. The reason I'm giving Beavercreek Pizza Dive two stars instead of one is because they seem to genuinely try to make their guests happy. read more
