To visit a friend, I stumbled into the city of Perris and decided to eat at Pizza Chalet so I guess I'll do the honor of giving the first view. First of all, their chicken wings are quite good, and all their food is affordable. They have a selection of Pizza and their Jumbo pizzas come stacked with toppings !!! and lots of cheese for only ~$16. They also offer a variety of other options and the place inside has some arcade style games to play. Even better they have an air hockey table! I frequently visit this place on Mondays and Tuesdays because they have large pepperoni pizzas for 5 bucks. I much rather go here than Little Ceasers which isn't too far from this place. The pizza is way better than Little Ceasers, and for 5 bucks, you can't beat it. I grew up eating at this place. I also order their shrimp chow mein when I'm not in the mood for pizza. The only thing I would change is the decor. It's been the same since I can remember, but a change would be nice. Whoa, just trying to get into the small parking lot is an adventure. You literally have to drive up onto a curb high lip to get into this place. As you walk in, you immediately notice that this place needs to be updated badly. The young girl cashier had no customer service skills at all! Not even a hello or a friendly smile, geesh. I told her that this was my first time here, and asked her what she thought of some of the specific items on the menu. She admitted to not knowing what some of the food tastes like and just pushed a very worn paper menu in front of me. I took that as her hint of stop asking me questions lady. The restrooms smelled like dirty sewer water and there were no toilet seat covers. All of the cool old arcade games were unplugged and the dinning room tables were dirty. My food came out quickly, but the teriyaki chicken was SO salty! Either it is old or they just can't cook. I will definitely not be back here again, what a waste of money. My poor fellow Perris residents, you just don't know what good food tastes like. I hope that you all venture out of this little city and partake in what bigger cities have to offer. It is sad that "sports teams" in our city are treated like gold. Yet an amazing, organized group of creative community citizens are treated so differently. I am hoping this is made right to Yucaipa Little theatre. As a business owner I just can't understand turning away a party of 100 that would provide so much revenue on a Sunday night (Sunday of the time change no less). We have had multiple cast parties here and have loved it and raved about it. We had a reservation, confirmation, and congregated when the manager (not sure of her name but she has multiple neck/ facial tattoos) decided our group size was beyond her scope of management. So she crossed out our reservation. We were also told it would be $80 for drinks (soda) for our group? With all of the beer and wine our group was prepared to ordered I find this odd. In the past our large group has been afforded only 4 large pizzas and free sodas for the kids (100 people on a Sunday night playing tokens, ordering food, drinking beer). But we have appreciated those 4 pizzas and free drinks so we return! A special "thank you" to the sheriff we called to help remedy the situation. He pulled my husband and me aside and told us to publicize this on social media, fight our bank on the charges that were not refunded and confided he is also a theatre veteran and he wished he could do more. I am currently directing the next show at Yucaipa Little Theatre. I have a large cast and production team that total about 50 residents. (Not including their family members and friends or additional volunteers). Needless to say our cast party will not be at Pizza Chalet and I am actively reaching out to other local establishments. I will also not hesitate to explain why. This show has A LOT of new people and a handful of recent transplants to Yucaipa. And I am sad that Pizza Chalet is not a friend to Yucaipa Little Theatre. read more

This restaurant seems like it's run down, in need of remodeling, or soon to go bankrupt. The food is mediocre, nothing special considering you get what you pay for. Delicious!!! My boyfriend and I saw the Great reviews and had to try it! It was the best food decision we have made! It was very affordable, fast, workers were friendly, and the food was perfect!
