The last time we were here the pizzas here were from Wild Tomato and we were initially disappointed that while in Egg Harbor we wouldn't have them nearby. We decided to try Pizza Bros based on great reviews on Yelp and we're definitely impressed! The pizza was excellent and the venue was really improved since we'd been here last. They now have an expanded outside patio that could accommodate a couple hundred. You order drinks at the bar either inside or at the exterior window and pizzas at a separate window inside, are given a pager and can either enjoy the weather or stay inside which also has ample seating. There's plenty of distractions for the kiddos with supplied board games or beanbag toss outside. All the ingredients were fresh atop a nice red sauce over a thin and crispy wood fired crust. What an absolutely delightful spot. We stopped in here for a couple of pizzas to bring back to our airbnb and I am so glad we did. Located in One Barrel Brewing (so you can conveniently enjoy a beer while waiting for your pizza--or, with your pizza if you're dining in!), Pizza Bros services up elevated pizza in a fun environment. We started things off by ordering a family sized caesar salad. The salad was crisp and fresh with the dressing served on the side (for tossing once you get it home). It was a bit smaller than we expected and would have probably ordered two for our family of 5 had we known. For our pizzas, we got two of their specialty pizzas: The mactastic and their threat level midnight. Both were excellent but for me the threat level midnight was the star of the show. Beginning with a base of black garlic cream and then topped with variety of mushrooms (roasted crimini, oyster, and portobello), caramelized onions, chevre, chopped basil, and a lovely drizzle of truffle oil--it was savory, flavorful, and just an absolute dream. The mactastic was basically mac and cheese on a pizza. Their mac is then topped with provolone, cheddar, and parmesan. The basic is white and there's a nice drizzle of garlic aioli. The service is friendly and the prices are above average (it is Door County after all). Get to it! read more

Pizza Bros shares a location with One Barrel Brewing Company in Door County. When we visit, we usually stop for some pizza and beer if we have time. The ambiance is quite nice because you've got indoor and outdoor seating. I love their wood-fired pizzas, though I find them overpriced, personally. I think they have some interesting options, but you pay that "tourist tax" on it. Even getting something that's plain is more expensive than it should be, say for a cheese pizza or a sausage pizza. For what you get on it, the price doesn't match. We paid for a gluten-free pizza the last time we went, but they didn't make it with gluten-free dough. Anyone who gets gluten-free pizzas knows what I mean. We had to take it back to the counter, where they said for sure, that's not a gluten-free pizza. They re-made it in lightning-quick time with that super-hot oven back there, but if you assumed it was GF and then ate it, it would be a pretty bad time for your guts. I find their estimation times wildly inaccurate on every occasion I've been there. In a good way, as it always comes out faster. So, set the expectation to wait 25 minutes, for example, and have it out in 15. It's good, it's just something to keep in mind that you'll likely get it faster than what's stated. It's definitely worth trying out if you're a fan of pizza! read more

Quite simply the best pizza ever! The crust was thin, light, & crunchy. We ordered a Hawaiian & Supreme, highly recommended! The portions are generous and prices are reasonable. This outfit shares space with the One Barrel Brewing taproom, which is conveniently symbiotic from my perspective. (I enjoyed a very nice blonde ale while waiting for the pizza.) The place was hopping on a Sunday evening in August, but our group of nine had no problem finding seats inside the spacious taproom; there was also a very large patio and lawn area outside with an almost festival-like vibe. Park in the moderately sized lot or on the street nearby. Order at the counter and wait about 15 to 40 minutes depending on how busy they are. The pizza is described as Roman style, which has the delightful chewiness of a New York style but is slightly thicker and crispier. It was delicious! Also, they say it's a 14-inch pizza but it looks bigger. One pie will easily feed two average persons. So this ends up being a fun, economical, and tasty choice for any sized group. Ordered the 16" margarita pizza with pepperoni ... was ready in a few minutes. Thin crust perfectly cooked with a great crust. Topping were a little in the sparse side and tomato sauce dominated the flavor. We liked it, it just needed more cheese, more basil and more pepperoni. My husband and I stopped at Pizza Bros after playing a warm 9 holes of golf nearby. We were looking for a yummy lunch, not too heavy, and a friend who lives in area spoke very highly of Pizza Bros. She was 100% accurate! We ordered the So Smokey, and it was wonderful: bacon, bacon jam, smoked provolone, smoked blue, white sauce, and garlic aioli, on the thin Italian crust. Our pizza was fresh and so hot, and we found ourselves eating the entire pizza. We enjoyed sitting, and our server at One Barrel commented that our pizza choice is one of her favorites. She readily noted her other favorites for us. We were impressed by the wide range of seating options (inside, outside, under shade, in the sun, at tables, at outdoor sectionals). It even has games and a large sandbox for its youngest patrons. We have one more day in Door County, and we've already told our family that if they want Pizza Bros tomorrow, we are 100% in favor of returning! read more

For $17, we got a customized two topping 14 inch pizza with spinach and mushroom and a mushroom and sausage pizza. The pizzas easily fed two people each. The crust was crispy and had a slight char to it that wasn't too overpowering and well balanced. They were generous with the toppings as well. As far as customized pizza places go in Door County, this is on the reasonably priced side for what you get. The atmosphere is casual and perfect for summer. OMG! One of the best pizza's I ever had. Got it two nights in a row, and I never do that, because I want to try food from different establishments when I am on vacation.
