I was in town this week & learned that Pizza Box was still in business - only down just down Lincoln Hwy. This was the best pizza place when I was growing up (late 1970's & 80's). Got the Sicilian with pepperoni & extra cheese. Happy to report it did not disappoint. It was just what I remembered! My only regret is they haven't moved to NC but they're welcome anytime! :-) I'll be returning when back in PA. read more

Great food, fast, friendly service. So far we have had pastor tacos, chicken tacos, chicken burrito, and pulled pork chimichanga. All were excellent. The mole sauce is particularly good. Great hot sauces as well! read more

We went in for pizza tonight. There were two tables open which is about right for the size of their restaurant. It was cold in there so we decided to eat in our truck. Once we started to cut it, owe saw it wasn't cooked and was sort of doughy. I took it back in and he put another one in the oven for us. The problem for me was, the older woman behind the counter wasn't wearing a face mask at all, and two of the men had theirs covering their mouths but not their noses. I went outside to wait and motioned for the younger woman to bring it to the door when it was done. I suggested they put a sign up outside that they don't comply with the Governor's orders or in the best interests of those of us who try and protect ourselves and others by just wearing a darn mask. I don't like them either. I know three people who died from Covid and five that got it. I know there are those who don't believe in them. But in the interest of doing good business, they should wear masks. Just a heads up to those who believe in wearing them, you might want to avoid Pizza Box and for sure don't eat in there. read more

In the 11 years living in this area, today marked the first time going to this place and I feel like I've arrived late to the party! This pizza has the least amount of grease (they use real cheese!) and a crust you can nearly compare to pizza from NYC. We called in the order with a 25 minute estimate. The pizza is to die for, especially when Phil, the owner, is making it. I see a lot of pizza places getting their ingredients from the same company, but there is just something special about the way Phil makes it. Must be the love he puts in to every order. It is so rare to find pizza that is SO bad that after two slices we have throw the rest of the pie away. Then order more food from another restaurant. This pizza is bland and tastes like almost all of the ingredients came out of a can. The dough is thin an wasn't given the time it needed to rise. Honestly, $1 a slice supermarket pizza is better. read more

When it comes to excellent taste, price, and excellent service, I will recommend one place over them all. That would be Pizza Box. Their pizza is consistently delicious each and every time. Their wings are plump and tasty. Their sandwiches are full and robust. Their selection of beverages and sides are absolutely amazing. Most days, they are busy, especially on weekends, Fridays, power outages, and major sports events. Your best bet would be to order beforehand and it'll be ready when you drive down to pick it up (usually about fifteen to twenty minutes at the most). It'll be piping hot each and every time. Hungry? This is your all around neighborhood place with friendly staff and and great reasonably priced food. I first stumbled upon the place when my wife's car broke down and I was able to limp it into the parking lot. I had some time to kill before AAA arrived for the tow and I was starving so I popped in for a cheesesteak. It was amazing, you could clearly tell that they used high quality beef and did not skimp on the cheese. I then went back months later when the two pizza places that are close to me disappointed me and I was looking for another option. Joeys pizza was the one I used to go to the most until they took away the free delivery on door dash and then began to skimp on portions and raise prices. I am so glad I tried pizza box as their pizza is OUTSTANDING! Plenty of cheese and toppings along with a perfect crust. This is now my go to place for pie even though I have to drive a little bit further it is well worth the trip. Overall a great pizza shop for a unassuming location tucked into a strip mall. Sal the owner is also a great guy and the fact that he is so hands on with his business is why I think they turn out a consistently awesome product. 5 stars for this place! read more

The only place to get pizza and more. I've been a loyal customer for years. The only trouble ordering here is that everything is great. The Lasagna is awesome, hoagies are the best, they blow the doors off Wawa. The Fried Raviolis are perfect, just don't let them sit in the foil wrap too long if you get take out, they can get rubbery by steaming. The sauce they use is what I love the most, it's not too sweet just the right amount of salt. read more

I ordered 1 hour before closing time. When we picked up the pizza, it looked it it was made as an afterthought. The cheese was so thick and the taste was subpar. Again, probably my own fault ordering at the time that I did however with reading the reviews, I expected the quality and taste to be more better. read more

The pizza is terrible! i brought it home and my toppings were just thrown all over, the cheese literally falls off and the crust was soggy! Disgusting! I'd rather have frozen pizza from a grocery store! I'd go back and ask for a refund but the Resturant was dirty and smelled. I am very disappointed.
