I've been coming here since I was little! Pizza is good and slices are big. Potions are big too. Staff is nice. Ambiance fair for pizzeria.

Final Update: Ugh, I really wanted to like this place, but I just can't. When it is totally empty on a Saturday night, that is a good indication that folks are going elsewhere. The super friendly staff is not enough to keep me coming back. If I order chicken wings "well done" I do not want them undercooked! If you cannot spell "Margherita" correctly on your menu, I probably shouldn't have ordered it - again! And again it was horrible, ate one slice and then felt bad afterwards. Sauce was dark, heavy and looked old. The only thing I would order here are the cold sandwiches, Italian, tuna are good. read more

We always order a veggie pizza. He grabs a beer and I grab a hard lemonade. I check out their baked goods and usually grab something. They race to get the food out the door but make sure it's high quality food. The people are friendly no matter how crazy busy it gets. read more

Great little pizza joint located in this little strip mall. I had the pleasure of dealing with Yaselyn who was energetic, and plus she gave me the hook up on a sausage and bacon slice. I am a fan of Ny Style pizza not to thin, not to thick but just right! We should all know about that "just right " if you know what I mean. The sauce had a good taste to it, a good tang to it we'll say. If you're not into the pizza scene these guys also have an impressive menu. I did see their cheesesteak as I was walking in a customer was straight up killing it. You might want to try one of their cannoli's . Yes I said that, and yes I know I'm not in South Philly , but they could hold their own if it came down to it . Besides I've had a few to a hundred cannolis' in my life, I should know. There are very few good spots to eat in the Downingtown/ Thorndale area, and CPP showed up on yelp. The 6 of us were able to find a different selection and they were all very good. Cheeseburger, pizza, calzone, salad, pasta and cheesesteak. The server was pleasant as was the owner, and the place was busy with both eat ins and takeout streaming through. UPDATE: I didn't order from here for a while. The past two times I've ordered, I've ordered very basic items (plain pizza, plain cheesesteak). This place has gone downhill in a hurry. Today's plain cheesesteak was barely filled and very greasy. This store has recently raised their prices as well. Definitely not worth it anymore. It's a shame really, because I know they changed owner's recently and since then, quality has suffered. There are definitely better places. read more

During these times it is hard to keep customers happy, safe, and also provide great food and service. Tonight Caln pizza showed it when they not only provided a great meal for my family but also handled an unruly "Karen"' customer who berated the employees for no reason even after he left the store and came back with his food and asked for a refund because he felt like they didn't follow his specific safety measures even though the staff was masked up and using gloves and the correct sanitary measures. They politely handled the situation and gave him a full refund even though he was still unruly after the refund. Great job to the employees just trying to keep things moving and safe during the tough times. read more

Best pizza in the Thorndale and Downingtown area! If you want some classic football pizza or even fancy something special like the buffalo chicken cheese Caln is the spot. My wife and I moved to the area and lived about 5 minutes from Caln Pizza and Pasta. It became out go-to pizza place by default due to proximity and the fact that it was good pizza. We slowly tried more and more food until we discovered their penne vodka. We are obsessed with it! We have since moved about 20 minutes away, but we make it a point to come back and order from Caln Pizza and Pasta every couple of months because we need to have our penne vodka (I add chicken and my wife adds sausage). Caln Pizza is pretty standard when it comes to pizzas. The dough is soft and they have a great deal on Wednesdays -- $10 for a large (& they're not messing around when they say large). It's a family owned business so if you're looking to support something local that's also fast, or has GF options, this is your spot! However, their best keep secret are the cannolis. We go just for these bad boys. They always have filling on hand that's creamy and just the right amount of sweet and my husband doesn't even love ricotta.
