Don't eat here! Your food might have extra seasoning in it such as plastic!!!! Food was also disgusting. The steaks I ordered smelled like they have been ran through a dishwasher. The taste of the food was absolutely horrible. Don't bother eating out in this area , more and more pizza places and other places to get delivery and eat at are going down hill or always were horrible. You have been warned. Hope I didn't swallow any plastic. I might have to speak with an attorney about this. Hope I don't get sick. You been warned , how this place has any good reviews is beyond my comprehension. The pizza is great, the workers are extremely rude and complete a-holes -- particularly the men. I've only ever had them act harmful or yelling when I ask simple questions, whether on the phone or in person. They do not deserve being tipped at all for their disrespect. Do if you plan on getting pizza, be cautious of the customer service behind the counter. read more

Phoenixville location is my new Italian go to for Italian. Everything I've had here lately has been delicious....even as I've taken it all Togo and it travels well. Moved here just over a year ago and after searching for a good pizza+ place we order from Rocco's almost every week...and sometimes twice a week. They have great pizza, great wings, and they've added some signature high-end entree's that are truly eat-in restaurant quality. They offer delivery and you can order through the app 'slice' and you're still dealing with Rocco's staff. The owner, George, is a stand-up guy who will make any concern you have right. My go-to steak sandwich place was closed yesterday and so I called in a pickup order to Rocco's. I had never had one from here previously. I ordered a standard 12" cheese steak with fried mushrooms, onions, and fresh green peppers. It was excellent and stuffed with steak. This will be my new go-to for steak sandwichs. read more

If you can't decide which one of the many pizza restaurants around Phoenixville, I highly recommend Rocco's. They have the best pizza in this entire area! They make creative pies too, If you're in the mood to try something new. I am a vegetarian, and they are willing to modify recipes for me and their vegetables are always incredibly fresh and delicious. You can eat in, take it out, or get delivery. I've ordered delivery and take out numerous times and they are always on time. Rocco's is located behind where the old Sly Fox restaurant used to be. It can be a little hard to spot from the road, but it is definitely worth visiting. read more

Just moved to Phoenixville, looking through a plethora of pizza places to order from and we landed on Rocco's. The Jersey Shore Pie caught our eye, so we decided to order. It was the best choice we've made since moving here, as the pie was delicious. We have ordered numerous times since, but I wanted to come on and give credit where credit is due. It has a wonderfully sweet sauce, and I highly recommend. The upside down pie is also solid, but I would recommend the Jersey Shore Pie. It's a solid pizza! read more

We usually get their tomato pie. Which is usually fantastic! However, this evening we needed a regular mixed pizza for some friends. Both pizzas had under cooked crust and our toppings were completely raw. The veggies were as uncooked as you would put on in a salad. I didn't know it was possible to ruin pizza to this extent. I ordered a cheesesteak salad and it was the best I ever had. The portion size was perfect, the salad was crisp and delicious. The cheese was perfectly melted and was evenly distributed over the meat. Rocco's made low carb better than the bread and for that I thank them. read more

My husband laughs at me all the time, because I am a certified pizza snob. Growing up in New York and frequently going back to visit, I am extremely picky about my pizza. My husband? He'd eat a picture of pizza on a cardboard box and it would be good to him. Me? I'm on the everlasting quest (that will probably last for the rest of my life) to find New York quality pizza in any area that I happen to be living in. Rocco's was alright. I mean, it'll do in a pinch, but honestly, even my husband wasn't that impressed and well, see above regarding the whole picture of pizza on the cardboard box thing. I found it amusing that they're all Italian and calling all the ladies "sweetheart and "beb." It reminded me of the skit from SNL with Jason Sudeikis and Kristen Wiig "two A-holes." Tried Rocco's for the first time last night with a Rocco regular - had the Buffalo Chicken Stromboli and it was everything I wanted it to be. Their deck oven turns the crust a perfect dark gold. The crust is delicious and has a killer crust. Also had a good chicken steak & cheesesteak. Stromboli though was A+, give it a run. read more

This is my de facto pizza joint, despite the fact that they don't deliver. Even in these days of butt-poking gas prices, I don't mind driving to get my fix of white pizza with tomatoes and broccoli. It's far beyond competent. In fact, I'd go as far as to say it's number one on my large plate of pizza joints in the area. We usually do take-out, but the dining room with faux brick and Philly scenes on the wall is a nice place to grab a slice or a plate of ziti on a cold day. read more

This casual pizza place is a convenient location inside a strip mall. You order up at the counter. We came on a Friday summer night and they offered us a complimentary glass of wine! We started with cheese fries. The crinkle cut fries came out piping hot with cheese whiz. My boyfriend and I then split a half-BBQ chicken, half-plain cheese pizza. I'm a bigger fan of brick-oven pizza with a slight bite to the bottom of the crust. This is a doughy, chewier crust. Was in the area for the annual Sly Fox goat races (good times, highly recommend going there next year!), but the actual restaurant had over an hour wait for dinner. And drunk lauren does not wait an hour for dinner! Rocco's is in a shopping center catty corner (hate using this ridiculous phrase) from Sly Fox. Simple pizza menu with the good basics. Regular pizza, slightly gourmet pizza, hot sandwiches, cold sandwiches, and pasta. I ordered the eggplant parm hoagie for 6.99. This thing was huge! Would easily stagger a grown man for dinner, or fill two meals for many women. The eggplant itself was homemade and very good. My man got a steak stromboli. I think it was a small, but was also gigantic. We split an order of cheese fries that was all right, but the fries were clearly out of a bag. They tasted fine, hot and crispy, but if you're all about gourmet fries these are definitely a skip. I really enjoyed this place. The service is all counter service, but they bring food to the table if you dine in. The guy at the counter was cool and helpful. Someone else brought out our food, and even came back to see if we needed boxes. Doesn't sound like a lot of service, but for a place where no one works for tips everyone was very nice and cool. Two meals, two boxes of leftovers, and two drinks were 20 bucks for two people. I would never drive the 30 minutes it takes for us to get there just for a meal, but if I was in the area I would definitely come back! read more

Oh, I love this place. Like a neighborhood joint you always feel welcome and comfortable in. Rocco knows what he's doing. (That's the guy's name who owns the place.) Very simple decor - you don't come there to look at the curtains. You come there for food, well cooked and prepared, and the experience of going to a place that puts food AND YOUR ENJOYMENT OF IT high on the list. Case in point - I finished a couple large slices of pizza and had the crusts left over. Rocco saw that and immediately brought me a cup of sauce to finish them with. Amazing. Never had that - except at somebody's house. Definitely feel like Rocco grew up in a house with a mother that said, "Eat, eat." Thing is, he's in great shape. Knows how to keep himself fit. Wife is a looker, too. You order at the counter and you sit down. Get a drink at the fountain. They'll bring over your food. Feels like you're next to the kitchen and they just made this up for you. Marvelous attitude about food and eating. I normally put too much away when I go here, (and I live out of town,) but I truly enjoy spending time here watching a hockey game and having a hoagie. The pizza is good, but not great. No complaints, but the crust is a tad stiff. Sauce and cheese are fine, so you get a great meal. THAT'S the point. Not a connoisseurs delight, but it will get the job done and you'll feel great about the visit. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. GO ROCCO! read more
