Food is decent. Although for the price they sometimes skimp on the meat. Also make sure if you get takeout, before you leave you have everything you ordered. They tend to forget things. 5x in about 2 years I've ordered and brought to a friends house who lives nearby and every time we've enjoyed the pizza. I wouldn't say it's the best but it's certainly not anywhere near bad. It does however tend to a tad on the expensive side and the cashiers have always been less than friendly. Help can make or break a business so I'll keep an eye out here to see if the reviews improve before ordering again. read more

I work around the area and Affamatos is one of the places I order from for lunch. The first time I tried this place, I had the Italian Stromboli. I'm a big fan of Italian hoagies, so I thought this Stromboli was pretty decent. The price is definitely fair for the size of this thing. I ended up eating it for lunch and dinner. I was craving a Stromboli today so I decided to order an Italian Stromboli with cheese fries. Got my food, took a bite and realized there's only ham in the Stromboli. I called the restaurant and said there's a switch up with my order and that I must've gotten someone else's Stromboli unless Italian means only ham. The guy who was on the phone said "Hon what do you want me to do about it." I was so turned off from the service I just hung up and I probably won't be ordering from there for a while. Solid neighborhood pizza shop. The staff has always been friendly to us and quick service which we appreciate. We love their boneless wings, fries, mozzarella sticks. Their cheesesteaks used to be amazing but honestly the last 2 times we got them they were extremely salty which is sad because they are so good otherwise so hopefully they go back to whatever they were doing before. Ordered 2 sandwiches at 5pm, figured we'd beat the dinner rush. Was told 45 minutes for delivery, orders finally delivered 90 minutes later, incorrectly, cold, and the delivery driver was caught on camera sitting a few houses away for 10 minutes doing who knows what. Will much rather go to Tosco or Paradise other than this extremely hard to get to pizza place that takes 90 minutes to deliver 2 sandwiches less than 2 miles away. read more

I've been here several times and the food is decent, even if the place itself isn't much to look at. Seating for 15 or so inside, altho I've never seen more than a table or 2 occupied. I think the owner had been there my previous visits, but was not there on my last, which was a bit of a letdown. I order the personal stromboli(ham), which comes with a cup of sauce on the side. I've had it a few times and have been pleased with it, but on my last visit it wasn't at all what I was used to and actually threw half of it away. I think it was a rush job...which is odd because it took over 20 minutes for me to get it...the dough wasn't rolled out thin enough leaving me with a very DOUGHY stromboli...They also didnt cut the ham at all, just dropped a couple clumps of sliced lunch meat inside and covered it with cheese...if you cut it up, it cooks better and is easier to eat...I'll try the cheesesteak next time I see the owner isn't there... read more

Great food. Order online. Drivers are all cool and clean. Actually ate in the restaurant a few time, owner is a really good guy. Portions are size-able. Literally the only thing I've had that I didn't like was the buffalo chicken pizza, it's basically cut up chicken breast on top, not sliced and diced as I'm used to. Get the fried doughnuts, you won't regret it. Throw some powdered sugar on top as well. read more

We have ordered from them often and the food is always outstanding, especially the cheese steaks. They deliver promptly, almost always long before the estimated time given, and the food is always hot. Today, I added a dessert to the order which was missed. The driver was extremely apologetic and offered to go get it for me. I said it was not a big deal and simply to credit me the cost of the dessert as I didn't want him to have to drive all the way round trip for a dessert I really should not have ordered and he would basically lose money on the delivery. He thanked me said he would have it credited off. 20 minutes later he was back with my tiramisu! It was delicious!! read more

A suburban hole-in-the-wall pizza joint that has their act together on Stromboli and such. Had one bad experience there on a pizza several years ago, but they've been consistent since. My husband and I ordered from here for the first time since we were trying out local and different places to order cheesesteaks. We never noticed this place until a friend told us about their experience here. My favorite was the garlic bread cheesesteak BY FAR! It was so good and the employees working at the time convinced me to try it as it was a popular pick for regular customers from what we were told. Due to COVID, we couldn't eat inside but one of the cashiers was so sweet to bring the food out to our car when it was done. Ordered from Affamatos to my hotel when staying in town for business. Very friendly woman answered the phone and took my order, asked me about options for the meal which I appreciated. Food came when they promised and holy crap the portions were huge. Got the bruschetta bread and it was like a whole baguette had given it's life for my appetizer. Chicken parm huge and a huge side of pasta. Since I was in the hotel couldn't save it but it would have easily covered 2 meals. Best of all they recognized I was at a hotel and included napkins and silverware. Amazing how many places have not done that so really appreciate that. 1. The owner is the worst person I have ever had to deal with for a customer service issue. I told him three issues with my order and he dismissed all of them and basically told me if I don't like his recipe it's my problem. He alone is the reason I will not go back he was so rude. 2. One of my issues was that I was overcharged for two sandwiches and he told me that one of my sandwiches was ordered as a large when I did not recall asking for a large and his definition of a large is two of the regular sandwiches which is unheard of he would do nothing about this issue 3. I told the owner I thought the rolls we had on our sandwiches were really dry and he told me that that wasn't possible instead of acknowledging my complaint he told me that they go through so frequently there's no way I have a stale roll but he could not understand the idea that maybe he received dry rolls because they were overcooked but just dismissed my concerns 4. If there was one complaint this owner could've done something about it was the fact that I ordered mild wings . now google fans tell me if you order a mild wings to get buffalo flavored wings or something else because this owner told me that the reason I thought I received barbecue sauce on my wings is because his mild sauce is a mixture of hot sauce and barbecue. Who does that? There are literally only four wing flavors on their menu barbecue honey barbecue mild and hot why would you order mild just for it to taste like barbecue ???? 5. The owner that I spoke with was so ridiculously rude and just poor customer service. the least you could've done with my complaints was offered some wings in a different sauce but he did nothing and just told me I was wrong and he will disagree with me read more

Outstanding sandwiches. The roll comes from Corpollese, the meat comes from a professional butcher, and the cheese comes from Hershey...a truly phenomenal combination. Caprese sandwich is delicious. Chicken cheesesteak with provolone and spinach is phenomenal. Garlic knots are perfect. Fried dough is out of this world. Pasta is great - marinara sauce is not greasy at all. Someone recommended Affamato's, so we tried it out. Half mushroom, half pepperoni, well done. My first impression was that if we hadn't ordered well-done, I couldn't imagine how the crust would be. Part of it is that my husband and I both prefer a thin crust, but still, their well-done was a nice golden, not what I'd consider "well-done." The bigger problem was the salt. We don't add much salt to food in our diet, which can make eating out problematic. However, we are very fond of Charlie's Pizza and Via Veneto as well as Franzone's (which has a sweet sauce, so it's hard to compare), and we also enjoy Papa Guido's, which is very close to us. We don't find any of them salty, so it's hard to say if it's our tastebuds or excessive salt, but I suspect it's a little of both. Of course, pepperoni is salty, you might say; but I almost always order pepperoni. The exception is Franzone's, because I don't find the combination of pepperoni and a sweet sauce very good, so I just have mushrooms there. The pizza was so salty that I ate about half a piece, my husband ate his entire piece, and we'll save the rest for pizza I'm bringing to a lunch tomorrow. The people who recommended it so highly will be there, so I'm sure they will enjoy it! read more

Cheesesteak's worth checking out. Came with a group and tried the pizza with bacon and pepperoni as well. If you are hankering for great cheesesteak's, I can't name a better place in PA. The pizza was New York style and the bacon was just the right level of crispness. Food was massive and the pizza was still delicious the next day. Just a heads up that pulling into the restaurant is a little dicey due to its location on the corner. Will be back next time I am in the area! read more

Hoping for some improvement with consistency. I order a pizza later in the evenings as I work 2nd shift. I receive this gorgeous, handcrafted pie, thick with sauce, on a tasty crunchy crust. Really good cheese & cheese placement, no need to order extra cheese and you can really taste the sauce, which is extremely flavorful. On weekends, I order the same pie and it turns out to be generic; hardly any sauce, tasteless crust and not baked long enough...every time, 3 times now. However - I am telling you if you are in the neighborhood then you should STOP or if you are not - you should Venture out. This place has the BEST cheesesteaks outside of Philly AND the best Italian Grinder! The subs are HUGE and only $7!
