As we arrived, ample free parking. Arrived on a Sunday night at 6 pm. We were seated immediately. The place is clean and comfortable. Washrooms are clean. They have Wifi for those of you with poor phone signals. It's the area. The waitress (Mia) was at our table within 2 minutes to get our drink order. Coke products. Service is very fast. The food is very hot. The kicker here is the servings for what we had. Stromboli are huge for the price. Mia kept on top of everything. Prices for other food items are very good. We couldn't finish it all so to go containers were supplied. Next time in Pennsylvania we will be back. Thanks for a great night. 751 miles from Illinois home. read more

Love Palermo's! There has never been a pizza or sandwich that we got there wasn't hot & tasty. The white pizza is my favorite! I very much appreciate the friendly staff and availability of a drive-thru. read more

The pizza here is pretty good. The crust is not exactly like a New York pizza. We got extra cheese and 1/2 sausage. The extra cheese was overwhelming. Next time we know that extra cheese is not needed. The service was very quick. The best part is that they have a drive thru window which makes pick up easy. read more

Delicious food Gteat service. If they have the ingredients they will make you whatever you want. Never a long wait read more

Definitely the best cheese steaks and pizza in the area, by far. The owners & employees are always SO nice! Very clean & lots of tables or booths to sit at even on really busy nights. read more

I visit Pottstown twice a year, and Palermo is my go-to. The pizza, the wings, the sandwiches, literally everything I've ordered is fantastic. They're well-priced and I never have to wait. I'm a jersey born pizza snob, and I endorse this pace with my whole heart. read more

Was looking for a place that was open. Found this place, called to ask (twice) about a coupon for 3 hoagies or steaks for $18.95. Was not sure the offer was still being honored. First time I was told only hoagies or steaks no hot sandwiches. Ok, hung up, talked with my dining companion, decided on what to order. Called back and asked about the offer again (3x if we are counting). Ordered 1hoagie 2 steaks. Got to the store. They tried to charge me $25.86. I asked why? Tax on $18.95 should be less than $2. Total $21. They had the coupon price written on the tab they handed me. Manager claims price of beef went up. Claims I had to order with no additions. I only ordered free additions or deletions. Okay, but we agreed to$18.95 only 15 minutes ago. If you did not want to honor the deal, just say so! The roast beef hoagie might be the worst hoagie I have eaten. Wawa's is cheaper and tastier. Cheesesteaks were decent, comparable to the area. Sadly, after wasting my time and not honoring your deal, I will be going elsewhere for my fairly average cheesesteaks. read more

This may look unassuming on the outside, however, it is the best food you can order. I wish I didn't live on the West Coast because I would order from here every week. I had their pizza by the slice (the stuffed pizza was AMAZING, their cheesesteak (with onions + sauce) was equally AMAZING and a bite of their hoagie (which was also AMAZING!!!! They are great people and they provide wonderful service. You will definitely go back for more. read more

Best cheesesteak I've every had. Yes, in Pottstown. Crispy roll on the outside and light on the inside. Meat is high quality and onions are cut big enough to give flavor and a crisp bite. Sauce just blends it all and the sandwich is never dried out. I've tried so many cheesesteaks within a 50 mile radius and haven't found better. read more

HG Palermo's Pizza - Best cheesesteak I've ever had. - Pizza Near Me - Pottstown, Pennsylvania

I was at a housewarming party and asked the host where he got the pizza. "Palermo's," he said. He had ordered several pizzas and a couple of orders of wings. Palermo's doesn't deliver so he had to pick them up. The pies we ate were large, fresh-tasting and delicious. The mushroom vegetable pizza was a hit with the partygoers, and had a good sauce and ample toppings! The wings were decent - tiny but crispy and flavorful. Recommended if you need to feed a crowd! read more

Some of the best pizza I ever had. It was so amazing. I recommend it to to every one who likes pizza

Prompt overall service, with friendly people behind the counter and delicious food. A great place to eat in but arguably a great place for takeout as well! Very welcoming! read more

I ordered a chicken cheesesteak. I got a beef cheesesteak wrap. All I wanted was a chicken cheesteak on a ROLL. HG Palermo's did not care.

Great selection and variety of food. Cooked to order and it always hits the spot. Good customer service

Been eating here for years close to the house and no complaints...others have come and gone but Palermo is consistent year after year!!

Fantastic cheese steaks and good pizza. Best cheesesteaks you can get in this local area. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys a good cheesesteak or a good pizza. read more

New to the area and picked up a couple of pizzas for dinner. Pizza's were incredible. We ordered the Palermo special and a cheese pizza. What a great find. Will definitely be back. read more

This guy stays on top of everything. The pizza is delicious, from the plain cheese and perfect sauce. Plenty of pizza options here! The square pie is perfectly baked every time, the cheesesteaks are meaty, well chopped ensuring the meat is tender, juicy and sweet, the hoagies are packed with meat, the salads are carefully created with fresh ingredients. The group who works there are organized, attentive and courteous. No doubt this business gets a volume of well deserved business. There is a drive up pick up window for take out orders, a spacious clean dining area and plenty of waiting room if picking up a order inside. The price for all the deliciousness is more than fair for the quality of food they serve. A Excellence Award to the owner and staff! read more

Great food and atmosphere. Bartenders are awesome as well. Highly reccomend this place.

I am very picky and so is my friend. We ordered a Sicilian slice, a white slice, hot wings and a grandma pizza with sausage. All excellent. Only negative was they should heat up the Sicilian slice a bit longer than a thinner slice because it was cold. I would definitely go back if I was in area. Place should have a lot more reviews than they do because it's excellent pizza read more

Located off N Charlotte St in the old McDonald. They have a good size parking lot to support the busy traffic. Seating area was nicely upgrade wishing they waitress / waiter, instead of self service. Order a Pep Pizza, great food with fresh ingredients you get your money worth. I've tried several different items a pleased with everything tried so far. read more

This place has the BEST food! There pizza is especially great, with crispy crust and the most delicious sauce. Whenever I'm in town, this is the first place I go, hands down the best Italian around. read more

I always loved Palermo pizza. At least when we eat there!!! Idk the takeout this time wasn't good. The cheesesteak was mediocre to say the least. Not much flavor. I had much better elsewhere We do love their wings. They are ALWAYS excellent. We got them this time too. Now they are just delish read more

Every time we come to Pottstown Palarmos is always on the schedule. When I was told there was a change of management, the fear that the most amazing cheese steak sandwich may be altered, sunk my heart into my stomach. Gratefully, my trepidation was alleviated on our most recent visit. The perfectly textured bread, the ideal ratio of meat to cheese, and the not-too-sweet sauce all lived up to previous tasty experiences. Thank goodness! read more

We honestly have never gotten anything from Palermo we didn't thoroughly enjoy. We drive past several other similar places to go here. Their pizza is always good. Their sandwiches and cheesesteaks are up there with some of the Philly greats. Their pasta dishes are always good (and we are picky Italians). read more

I left a review and Hector asked that I send my information to an email he provided and havent heard a word. Its been at least two weeks.

Great food and service. An assortment of good food to choose from. Never had a bad meal.

Ok folks - my 2 year tenure as an official "pottstown-ian" I can proclaim with confidence and pride that this is the best pizza pie in town! For certain, with the thin crisp delicate crust and the flavorful, not too sweet sauce and the perfect ratio of fine cheeses...we have a winner!! I wont get pizza from elsewhere in town (OK , one exception to Thats Italian Trattoria margahrita pie..mmmm, mmmm)... This is my fave, and staple, great pizze pie joint in town. And not to mention the service is decent also! Horray for Palmeros in Pottstown...not to be confused with the "other" Palmeros (Rofo & Lansdale),,,this place is a home run! read more

This is THE place to get pizza in Pottstown. It is mouth watering delicious. I can't recall any time I've had a bad pizza. Whenever I have friends up from Philadelphia, we usually order 4 or 5 pies and have never been disappointed with the service or the product. The pizza they make there are alittle greasy, but not in a bad way. With that said, if you aren't a fan of juicy pizza, then this might not be the place for you. They have a wide selection of menu items, although I can't vouch for the rest of the menu. I only get pizza from there. If you live in the area and you haven't had a pizza from here you are doing yourself a disservice.... or you are a big fat liar. read more

My family and I have been there a few times over the years, on the rare occasions we are in Pottstown. They are never disappointed. If I had one criticism it would be that I have one particular item I prefer to have omitted from my salads. I request it be left off. Without fail it is still added. I pick it off by hand and move on with my dinner. For good dinner and quiet relaxing atmosphere, I would recommend to anyone. In the opinion of my husband, our 3 children and myself it's the best food in Pottstown. read more

Love this place. Close to home. Great food n always ready when they say. Pizza n Stromboli awesome. Nice counter staff.

Consistently good every time we go. Love that they have a variety of specialty slices and we find the cheesteaks to be amazing! Also love the paninis and the broccoli bites are wonderful too! read more

Honestly, for pizza and inexpensive Italian food, Palermo's is the best in Pottstown (and in the surrounding areas, in my opinion). I've been eating there since...well, since I was old enough for solid food. The pizza is just so good. Amazing crust, flavorful sauce, perfect amount of cheese. The white pizza is just as good - oh, the garlic! My only complaint is that some of the toppings could be better. They use canned mushrooms and the broccoli is chopped so finely that it's not even worth getting - this disappoints me, because veggie pizza is one of my favorites. The cheesesteaks are really good too. I've yet to find better, although I'll admit I haven't sampled many Philly cheesesteaks. I'm also a big fan of the eggplant parmigiana dinner, the calamari, and even the salad, which is always nice and fresh. My boyfriend is crazy for the mozzarella cheese fries and his brother favors the cheddar cheese fries. My dad is a fan of their large selection of beers and sodas. Really, I go there for the pizza - and so should you. read more

Near Gilbertsville and Boyertown also this restaurant is great. We love their stromboli. They have online ordering, makes it such a breeze to deal with. One time I even made a mistake in my order which they offered to fix for me even though it was my oversight. Just the nicest people and a place you want to support for local business. read more

The food here is amazing!!!! Services is great fast and friendly! Would recommend 10-10 has something for everyone :)

Stopped in last night to pick up a medium cheese pizza and garlic knots. The knots aren't on the menu but I saw them and HAD to order! And they were extremely good! Not too big, not too small, and served with marinara! The pizza was very good. A little thicker than other places in town, definitely not NY style. But it was very tasty. Not my favorite in the area, but I'd give it my #3 best pizza so far in Pottstown. When I stopped in everyone was very nice, attentive, and seemed to know who their regular customers were by how well they knew them! I was impressed. read more
