Shrimp scampi -- the best!!
Rosalie S.

Located in a very unassuming corner strip mall & didn't expect much, but wow.. the best shrimp scampi pasta I've had in a very long time, also the stuffed bread, garlic bread & pizza. Italian places are everywhere, but really good ones are rare. Wish I could go here all the time, but will definitely drop by whenever I'm in the area. A great find

Pepperoni pizza

10/10. I got a pepperoni and Armenian pizza. Both tasted as amazing as they smelled. Will absolutely be going back.

The best pizza I've had recently, cheese is great, they put enough and even more for everything, will definitely come back. The staff is really polite, provided excellent service

Deluxe Pizza

I discovered this local pizza joint near my sister's house in Arleta, California. What a fantastic find, and I took my family out to eat. We were all extremely satisfied. We ate there, and everything was clean. The customer service was excellent, and the range of options available was exceptional. My family ordered a Deluxe Pizza, a Philly Cheesesteak Sub, and Vanilla Ponchik for dessert. Everything tasted delicious and the ingredients were fresh. I can't wait to visit again.

The slice and drink special. A great deal!

A family owned business that truly cares about the food they prepare. The pizza is excellent and the owners really care about good service.

Garlic chicken pizza and Perashki w/ potato and Perashki with Mozzarella y Feta
Maritza F.

Placed an order for delivery which was received within 45 minutes. My order consisted of X-large Garlic chicken pizza, Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp, Perashki, Vanilla Ponchik, garlic bread, and an Italian sub. Order was delivered on time, nothing was missing and the order was accurate. That is already a plus. The ponchik was still warm and delicious. Because this was the first thing I tried everything else paled in comparison but was still good. Will definitely order again.

Really enjoyed our pizzas. The crust was just right - not too thick not too thin. The pizzas options were so imaginative! Loved it

Pizza equal with Costco. Wings were rubbery, but the flavor/spice was good. Can't believe the high reviews for this place....

Was charged for extra mushrooms and it was incredible to see how minimal their ingredients were. Paid for something I never got .

Their grilled chicken Caesar wrap is fantastic…read more Crunchy falafel bits and a spicy dressing make it stand out in a city with several very good chicken Caesar wrap choices. Here's how I think the ones I've had stack up.... 1. Mini Kabob. Non traditional dressing but the flavor is well balanced with fresh ingredients and tender chicken thigh meat on a very good tortilla. Slightly pricier than the others but worth it. 2. Ggiata. The best of the more traditional grilled chicken wraps with crunchy croutons inside and an outstanding tortilla. Their traditional Caesar dressing on the side is very good. The Venice location tastes better than the one in Highland Park. 3. Highly Likely (Highland Park). Very good wrap but without any croutons or crunchy elements. Solid tortilla but the dressing on the side isn't as flavorful as the top two. 4. Sweetgreen (Pasadena). Best of the chain restaurants. Good but can be a bit too salty. Their Chicken Cali Club wrap is actually better balanced flavor-wise. The wrap here is smaller but still good. All the above wraps were satisfying and filling with the one from Sweetgreen being the smallest.

The flavors hit the spot, and the extra dressing on the side took it to another level. The lule was perfectly seasoned and juicy, and the rice was on point--fluffy and moist. The hummus had the perfect texture as well. Honestly, I can't complain about the food. I was initially going to complain about the price, but after tasting the flavor and quality, I'd say it was worth every penny. Also, shout-out to Armen--very nice guy who brings some seriously positive energy. I'll definitely be back!

When we first walked into the restaurant we thought we were the only patrons, then we found out the host just likes to seat people in the private booths which are separated from the main dining room by straw dividers. I read on the other reviews that they thought the server was not very nice, however my experience was the opposite - she provided helpful input when we asked for advices on the cuisine, and even recommended us to try the khinkali with sour cream which she provided and didn't have to. On to the food - we ordered the eggplant appetizer, it's similar to baba ghanouj but this one is a bit spicier and so yummy with the bread that came with it. We also ordered khinkali which is Georgian's version dumplings (we ordered the boiled version but there's also fried ones available). The skin is on the thicker side and was very chewy, the filling was well spiced with herbs, when you cut into it the juices come flowing out, yum! Our fav dish was the chimeruli which is baked hen drenched in a garlicky cream sauce that was more of a soup to me and i could not stop drinking it down! The hen was roasted so nicely with crispy skin, and along with the sauce just made the whole dish so hearty. Things are on the pricier side but I would still definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who's adventurous in trying different cuisines. It was interesting to note that they had two menus, one for Georgian foods, and the other for Armenian foods. Btw the restaurant charges a "non cash fee" for all non cash payments.

The Khinkali was pretty good and the bread was fantastic. I did not enjoy the Sacivi as much to be…read morehonest, but I think it might be just due to regional differences, we prepare it slightly different which I prefer. Service is quick and attentive as well.

But it is without question the most important Armenian restaurant in the world. Armenians are simultaneously a diaspora people, a people of the book, and an old country people. Therefore, odd as it may seem, it is entirely appropriate that the most important Armenian restaurant in the world should not be located in Armenia at all, but should serve a diaspora community in a way that makes them feel connected to home, both interns of cuisine and in terms of communal warmth. Technically, this is more of a Lebanese restaurant than an Armenian restaurant, but that hardly matters. It's a place of celebration, merriment, laughter, and tears. In short, it is THE gathering place for Armenians in Southern California. Because of its fame and importance, the thing that is consistently overlooked about this restaurant is just how excellent the food is. Bring a Lebanese expat here and you will invariably hear them say after the first bite of hummus that it doesn't compare to the hummus they used to enjoy in Beirut. By the middle of the bowl, they will say that it actually is not as bad as they first thought. By the end of the bowl they will declare that this hummus ranks among the greatest they have ever tasted. Carousel does not overwhelm you. It seduces you. And you'll be back.
