Very calm and small ambience. Had a cozy feel to it somehow. I was comfortable. Service was fine, the man who helped us recommended the chicken shishkabob plate and I said immediately yes. My boyfriend ended up with the chicken sandwich. I'd say that was a huge sandwich! Even the fries that came on the side tasted delicious. I had to try it lol My plate was on point. The food here was really delicious. I was a little worried that it might be too spicy for me, but the flavors were perfectly balanced. The rice was excellent -- light and fluffy, every grain separate. The portions are quite large, so I couldn't finish everything and ended up taking some home. Prices are reasonable for the portion size. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even more pleasant. I ordered the beef shish kebab, and to say the portions were small would be an understatement. I paid $25 and basically got a tiny piece of steak. On top of the high prices and small portions, the guy working there was very unfriendly and made the experience even worse. Definitely not worth the money, and I won't be coming back. read more

We ordered the Chicken Shish Kabob Plate and Beef Lule Kabob Plate with Shirazi Salad, Yogurt, Hummus along with pita bread and grilled tomato. It was delicious. The Basmati rice was cooked perfectly. The kabobs were flavorful. Both the beef and chicken were tender and not over cooked. I'm so glad we tried Tender Grill Cafe kabobs because now we have another kabob place we can frequently visit. We will add Tender Grill Cafe to our go to places to eat. Found this small kebab spot. It's tiny but nice inside. There's a pothos plant all over the ceiling. Pretty cool! I ordered the lule kabob plate and it comes with 2 sides. I had the hummus and the greek yogurt. Wow the servings are pretty big! The sides alone are a hefty size. The lule was pretty good. Flavor was there but not as tender as other spots I've tried. Phenomenal!! First time at this place and we will definitely been back! We got the combo, came with 3 meats. The chicken was my favorite. It was super tender and flavorful. And the hummus.... Let me tell you about the hummus oh my gosh the BEST hummus I have ever had! They said they make it in house. I would come back just for the hummus! We got some pita to go. Second side was the shirazi salad. Very refreshing and crisp. The staff was very great! When I about died from the spiciness of the Jalapeno, the chef/owner/some one came to the rescue and brought me a little container of the yogurt. The ambiance was great. Was in the area and decided to check out Tender Grill Cafe for a late lunch. My friend and I opted for the "Combination for Two" Plate ($26). The portions were not only extremely delicious, but very generous in portion size. The combination for two plate comes with three skewers (we opted for the chicken and the ground beef koobideh, Basmati Rice, Grilled Tomato, Pita Bread and two sides, which in our case was Hummus and Shirazi Salad. The setup is welcoming and homey, with a very friendly family staff ready to serve up some amazing Persian delights. Mostly a grab and go restaurant, there are a few seats inside with the serving for those that choose to dine inside set up casually with plastic utensils, paper plates, and to-go containers. As I mentioned, the portions were huge. The skewers were tender, seasoned well, and served on a very, very large bed of saffron rice. There were also four grilled tomatoes, which is quite generous and a perfect combination to mix with the rice and proteins. The Hummus was delicious and perfect for pita bread dipping. The Shorazi salad was outstanding. Perfectly diced vegetables with a wonderful minty flavor to balance the pepper seasoning of the beef. Quite a bit of food for my friend and I, with some left over. 2nd time here and I let 2 years go by. I loved the rice once again it filled my stomach with love. I ordered the chicken plate and my taste buds danced on top of my tongue. The tomato was so juicy and I wish I had two of them. Onions and salad were my sides and both of them are 5/5. The food is perfect and hits t.he spot. It was my first time here so I appreciated the suggestions in navigating the menu. There was much quality and attention to detail in the small areas like placing a sheet of foil over my food and placing Pita on top so Pita stays warm and not soggy and messy. One thing to note is that most people who sell similar foods package the food in a 3 compartment Styrofoam box that includes a small scoop of your sides- but not here. My meal was packaged in a 1 compartmet Styrofoam box packed and layered with 2 types of rice and meat + charred jalapeño + tomato. My sides were served separately in a clear container so there was soo much food I almost couldn't finish eating it all. The price/ quality / value here is more closer to something that I would get prepandemic and these places are rare. I'm scheduling my work to be out there again just so I can eat there! read more

There is not a single doubt in my mind that this is the best mediteranian/middle eastern food I have had in my entire life. So far I have tried the Chicken Kebab Plate and the Beef Shawarma Plate. I'm a huge fan of the grilled tomatoes they put on the plates too. The gentleman from Iran who owns the place is a great guy. He has a great talent of brightening people's days with his great jokes and kind demeaned. The restaurant itself is decorated very tastefully and is super cozy, just keep in mind there is limited indoor seating. Decided to stop by here along our drive. I called in the order for pick-up and the owner seemed really sweet. He was friendly from the beginning both over the phone and in-person. He was great at answering any questions I had and offered his recommendations. PARKING: Free in the lot it's located. CHICKEN SHISH KABOB PLATE: This plate comes with chicken shish kabob on a bed of basmati rice, grilled whole tomato, pita bread, and grilled jalapeno. This also comes with 2 sides and you have the option to choose between onion/parsley, tabbouleh, hummus, cucumber yogurt, shirazi salad, green salad, and pickled turnip. This was delicious! Might get this if my appetite is on the lighter side and get the sandwich (see below) if my appetite is on the larger side. CHICKEN KABOB SANDWICH: All sandwiches are served with fries and one side. This was huge-very filling! I couldn't finish this by myself (probably would only eat half), but my husband was able to finish it with his large appetite. First time customers yesterday. We were doing some shopping and wanted a good place to eat. We ordered the falafel plate and a falafel sandwich. It took about 15 min to prepare for to go. They even came to ask us about our vegetarian preferences, which was totally unexpected but awesome. The food was really good. Very tasty and a very generous amount. We saved half for lunch the next day. I'll def come back here when I am in the area. There is also lots of seating, it's clean, and the music is fun.
