I have a feeling the negative reviews come mostly from Portlanders who are used to the most garbage, overrated pizza places I ever had.

The restaurant is charming and intimate and decor very much takes you from Seaside, OR to any small town in Italy (or Little Italy in NYC). Maria was our server (according to the receipt) and she was awesome! She was personable, and spent time visiting with us and telling us the history of the restaurant. She also helped me be sneaky and hid the little birthday cake I snuck in my bag and hid it in back, then had brought it out later; adding a bunch of ice cream to it - and got the other restaurant guests to suing Happy Birthday to him. My boyfriend is fairly private so this intimate setting and delicious food, was exactly what he wanted and a wonderful surprise for him.

The food was good, but didn't impress me as much as it did on our last visit. I had carbonara, which is always my go-to baseline meal, and it wasn't bad, tasted ok, but didn't blow me away at all. My wife did enjoy her dish, however, and our drinks were very tasty too. It might have just been me, so I'm not going to say don't go here, you absolutely should, because this is probably the most authentic Italian you're going to get in this area and it's worth a visit!

Pizza a'fetta is very proud of their homemade Caesar dressing, but what I received in the small container inside the salad box said that as long as there's a funnel and a working water spigot, they'll never run out of Caesar salad dressing. In other words, the dressing inside my box of Caesar salad was water-thin and, frankly, tasteless. Minus 1 point. Since I can't give a 1/2 star rating, and as the effort was less than superlative, I'm rounding down: the only thing remarkable about their pizza was the marinara sauce.

Because THEY FOROGT A WHOLE PIZZA. We only ordered two pizzas. They only made one!!??? Acted entitled and RUDE when we were trying to pay. Also their card reader has been broken since 2024 and they still blame it on customers. And they are literally stupid and cannot count money at all. We have them 15 for a 13.99 order and the guy basically blew up from frustration from having to deal with cash.... Yet their machine isn't working.... Fckn DUMB!!! So we let them keep the 1.01 for a"tip" When they don't ever deserve tips here. But whatever!!!! They didn't even acknowledge us at the register for ten minutes. Not even a glance ! There was 8 employees. Seaside store 7:55pm Thursday march 5th. They forced us to wait in our car in front of the store for another 12 minutes! While one of our pizzas sat on the table. COLD TABLE. They didn't even offer to remake that one so that both would come out fresh. But they wanted to throw in bread bites for "free" but then just freaking made us Wait another five minutes after my pizza was done for that !!!???? Just give me my damn order !! I work in pizza. I supervise it at my job up in Warrenton. This is sickening to treat customers this way. I would Have first apologized to the customer for the mistake employees made! Then remake BOTH pizzas . And then take the charge off for one for the mistake. But NOPE. They made us still pay for both. Which is ASININE! and gave us cold food. We weren't mean and we were understanding.
