Pizza nine has the best pizza the people are very friendly I would eat there again the setting is quaint but comfortable

First time in Years ordering here. First the positives. The staff was friendly and the order prompt. The pizza was great! Now on to the needs improvement. The salad was very meager and they didn't give me dressing. There were no napkins either. The tiramisu was fine but very small for the price. Given I tipped five dollars on a $25 order I was expecting a little more care such as the napkins and the dressing. Gratuity seems obligatory these days with often no added value for the consumer. Overall, I might go back but only for the pizza. read more

This was my first time ordering from Pizza 9. I'm visiting from out of state and was craving a white pizza and this was the only place that seems to offer it. I ordered the large chicken Alfredo pizza so I could also get the green chile crust. The pizza was so very very good- great flavor and crust. The stuffed crust was a nice addition and I'll have leftovers. The pizza was delivered relatively quickly by a friendly person. Not sure why this place doesn't have a better rating. I have had pizza twice since I've been here in Los Lunas. I wasn't impressed with the other place that has been in business for many many years. I'll be back! read more

This is our go to pizza place. It's always excellent and the folks who work there are so nice and friendly. Only fault is what is called Cinn A Nugs - have only ordered once but these were not good. Not "nuggets" but more like tough overcooked old pizza dough that didn't rise properly. Maybe a fluke but won't spend the $5 to find out. But love their pizza - much better than competitors! read more

Everything about this place screams "home" from the ambiance, to the way the employees joke around while handling an amazing amount of product passing through the front door and the takeout window on the side of the building. My experience began by pulling up, parking, grabbing my wallet and heading inside to place my order. Just before my pie was about to enter the oven I thought I'd go back outside for my phone. Got outside and my CAR WAS LOCKED WITH MY WHOLE LIFE INSIDE!!!!! The employees quickly rallied to help, letting me use the phone to call for a locksmith to come "pop" the lock open but @ 6PM on a Sunday evening, no one was available under $200 . The owner. Miss Paula, had come in close to closing to do her paperwork it appeared and asked what was going on because I was obviously distressed. My house key was locked on my car key, and my spare key was in my handbag on the passenger seat. Miss Paula called a friend with a garage in Belen who came with the stick to unlock the door, Except on the newer cars it's more difficult... Miss Paula ended up driving me home and trying to figure out how we would Break In to my home. When we arrived I remembered the window in front was unlocked but Miss Paula went to check the door and I Hadn't locked it!! I only expected to be gone about 30 minutes, small town, a neighbor who is home "watching " our neighborhood.. I've always felt safe. At midnight there was a pounding on my bedroom window. Miss Paula's husband had gotten my door open and they personally delivered my car to my door. Caveat: I'm older, handicapped and have no family here, no close friends yet, just good neighbors.. I realize I was truly helpless in the situation I was in. Without the whole staff and Miss Paula showing up when she did I might still be sitting outside their establishment.... No one else cared to come to my aid; not a single locksmith in a 50 mile radius, the one who said he could come charged $29 to "pop" it but over $100 for his travels, expenses... (he laughed when I said I had about $45 in my wallet) on a fixed income, impossible! Oh! And my pizza, waiting to go in the oven, went out the door, hot and fresh, with Miss Paula and myself AND they refunded my $$$ Despite my pleas to at least let me pay for my purchase.. THIS woman and her staff define small town living and what support of small local businesses mean to a smaller community. We support them and they reach out to give back to the community. I feel blessed to have met Miss Paula and everyone who came when she called to help me. I wish I could remember all the names so I could thank them personally. Pizza 9 always has a very good pizza. Today I order a small Lobo pizza which comes with pepperoni sausage in green Chile. Their pizza is always cooked perfect and not raw in any spots. The employees are always friendly and they have good service. I called in to order my pizza ahead of time and the only took 10 minutes. If you've never tried pizza 9 do it today. This review was for the Los Lunas location. The only thing that I have to complain about is that the app does not include Los Lunas as a location and you cannot order through the app. read more

For now, it's a 3 stars. Online ordering was easy and they are the only place that delivers near by, especially for under $15. Delivery fee was cheap and it was delivered on time. Delivery driver was happy and kind. Now, the deluxe pizza roll... I guess I don't know what I was entirely expecting. I wasn't sure if I was getting a pizza rolled or a Stromboli or something in between. I got a pizza folded in half with almost no sauce. If that's what a pizza roll is, great! The cheese appeared previously melted but it was no longer hot on delivery. It looked good, was *slightly* underbaked but not terribly. Overall, this was edible, but for $12 was overpriced read more

We called for delivery ,we lady came to deliver we have a small dog who stuck her head between the door bars and barked which scared the lady she dropped our pizza ,she took pizzas back and came back with an attitude and she was very rude so I called spoke to a manager she told me it was my fault driver dropped the pizza and that this time would not charge for them just kept telling it was my fault for not telling them we had a dog that never got out of the house but because it scared the driver, manager was very rude so if a customer has a dog we can't order food from you you ? read more

I called to place an order this evening and after five attempts, each time placed on hold and disconnected, I finally got through and asked to order for delivery. The employee said it would be an hour to an hour and a half wait. I said okay. She said do u still want to order. I said yes, if that's okay. She rudely replied, what do u want? I said your name please. She hung up on me. I called back four more times and was hung up each time on. I dialed *67 and my number to try and at least speak to a manager. A male answered and I asked to speak with a manager. He said, "speaking." I said hi and explained what happened and why I wanted to speak to a manager. In short he said his employees said it was an accident. I said, I assure it's not. He said he believed his workers. I asked is that all you have to say? He then said I'm sorry that happened. I asked for the owners name as he said he was done talking to me. I again asked for the owners name and he said, "Paula." Paula if you read your yelps, Chris needs training on guest dispute resolution tactics and the delivery order personnel needs training on proper phone etiquette. I ordered a pizza on line at 3:15 with a pick up of 4:15. I received a confirmation email saying it would be ready at 4:15. When I went to the store they didn't have my order and asked for the order number which I didn't have. I drove home, got the order number, and call them back. They said, "yes we have the order but it didn't print out on our computer until just now."Come back and We'll have it ready in 45 minutes. I ask why they didn't receive the order. The girl didn't know and wasn't really interested in trying to find out. She just said those things are out of our control. I think there's problems with this business when it comes to ordering online. I would call after you do it and confirm they actually received your order. I'm really disappointed in John the manager . I ordered pizza to be delivered this evening they said it would be 30 to 45 min . At an hour and 15 min I called to check on the status. They said I did not order under my name or number . I gave them my address name number and type of pizza we ordered . She said nothing in the system for me after a few minutes the girl hold on let me get my manger he goes through the same set of questions . Then he says " oh yes here it is and we don't deliver that far, clearly he was wrong I had a pizza delivered 5 nights ago form pizza nine in Los Lunas the same one who delivered here several times . I asked him why he just left us hanging waiting when he obviously had my number attached to the order . He said it's just to far once again. I reminder him they had just been here . John the manager has horrible customer service , inconsistent policy an inconsiderate person without the nerve or common curtesy to let us know the pizza would not be delivered. According to them on my first order I'm well within the boundaries at least 2 miles . I will call pizza 9 corporate office and let them know how the manger John treats customers . In the past 4 time I have gone the quality has gone down. The pizza are greasy and not very good. Also you have to check your order because they will not give you everything that you ordered and paid for. The last time I was there they over charge me by 15 dollers. Today was the last straw, I was trying to get the sauce for the Cabazon that they didn't give me, the day before, and after telling the lady at the counter 5 times and also ordering a dessert she sill couldn't get it right. I find this to be a decent pizza offering, especially when considering it's in the middle of nowhere. My pizza was nothing to write home about but still decent enough to satisfy my pizza cravings. It tasted good, was a decent size, and was average in price. Took about 15 minutes from ordering to table. The dining area itself is small, dated, and nothing to look at. Clean though. Plus the people there were nice and friendly. If I'm in the area again and am craving pizza, I'd probably come back. read more

I've eaten here 4 times, been disapointed 4 times. What's wrong? First time, opening night, we go in and order a pizza, but don't want green peppers or olives on it, and would like green chile. That's -2 toppings, + 1 topping right? Nope, can't do it, we have to charge you for taking off toppings, and then for adding one. What?!? Fine, we did it, and got a salad and some bread I think. Pizza was okay, perhaps a 6 out of 10, but nothing we should have lost Pappa Johns over. Salad was silly, a big chunk of unseparated iceberg lettuce, and a few things thrown on top of it. The salad dressing was not good, so we left and decided to try it again some day. This was a eat in episode, the place was packed, as you'd expect for a first night. Some day arrives, we order delivery from them a few months later. Try something new with the Chicago Beef and some other interesting toppings. Arrives a soggy crust, meat with no flavor and super mushy texture. We didn't even finish the pizza, and threw it away after a few slices. The delivery took forever, can't remember what else we got with it, so that's how good it was. Next time, I decide to drop in and buy something else and eat in, to see if it has gotten any better. NOPE. Got whatever they call their calzone, with pepperoni, cheese, sausage, and onions, along with a salad (the "ranch" dressing was 7 days old in the little cup they gave me, they fill these themselves). When it arrived, I remembered their salads were not great, and had almost the identical experience as the first one. The calzone thing looked fantastic, not burnt, nice and hot, dark brown... Ugh. The cheese was still 90% unmelted inside, the meats were partially warm, partially cold, and I again sat disappointed. The 3 people working there (2 teenage boys, one teenage girl), were busy giggling and flirting around, so they didn't hear me ask if they could do something about the couple of flys flying around inside, and said they were sorry I didn't like my meal and hoped it would go better next time. Heck, I hoped it would go better next time. Luckily for the customer, there doesn't have to be a next time. I hear Dominoes is delivering to this side of town now, so we don't have to deal with Pizza 0 again. Dions for dine in, Dominoes for delivery. Lastly, this particular location has been 3 different restaurants in the past 5 years for a reason, it is a nightmare to get in and out of if anyone is there. Very disappointed, management/ownership very rude and the food was average at best. Don't think ill be back.

First off, I will start by saying all the Pizza 9's I have been to in Albuquerque have been outstanding. My husband and I just moved to Los Lunas and thought the service would be as good, if not better (being a small town and all). The first time we ordered, we ordered two of their sandwiches. A Chicago style beef and a combo sandwich. We requested to have it without the onions or bell peppers.. this they did correctly. We also asked to have the giardiniera on the side, as we have found that the sandwiches can get soggy quick. After the delivery driver left we realized that we were without giardiniera (and this stuff makes the sandwich!). We called back immediately and asked that they bring some to us. They agreed. An hour later.. no one had arrived. So, we call back and remind them that they forgot it and that we had been patiently waiting. They sent out the manager with the giardiniera, and offered drinks as a way to fix it. Thirty minutes later, we finally got our giardiniera and were able to enjoy our cold sandwiches. After waiting an hour and a half for such a simple thing, we decided that we were not going to go there again. Well.. turns out, we really like pizza 9 and decided to give it another try. This time, we both got two Chicago style beef sandwiches with the same request, no onions or bell peppers, and giardiniera on the side. Once we got ready to sit down and eat we come to find out, this time they forgot the au jus. So my husband decides to just go to pizza 9 and pick it up, to cut out on the lengthy wait time. When he went in he explained what happened and they tried to charge him for it because the man working didn't think it came with the sandwiches. That was sorted out and he came home and we proceeded to sit down to eat, then realized that they brought two combo sandwiches. My husband calls immediately and lets them know the brought the wrong sandwiches. One of the employees there said he thinks he had taken the order and said that's pretty sure what my husband had ordered and was then directed to the manager. My husband was once again asked how he wanted them to fix it, well.. we wanted the correct sandwiches. He asked if we had eaten them (which we hadn't) or if we had our receipt (which we weren't given). My husband said last time they had given us drinks, but that we just wanted the order to be fixed, and that we will just not be eating there again. We were also told it would take thirty more minutes for our food to arrive, which really took an hour (we aren't even a five minute drive away). We don't blame this on the delivery driver a bit, he was quite pleasant and apathetic. Now, it was finally time to eat our one stale, and one dried out roast beef sandwich. I cant believe the manager did nothing to try and keep us as customers (we have spent a lot of money at pizza 9 franchises in Albuquerque). At the pizza 9 that we used to go to all the time, they would fix the problem and even give us our next meal on the house! (although this was quite rare). Very poor customer service to say the least.
