If considering Pizza Hut in Belen, I would strongly suggest going somewhere else! Went in, to order pizza to take home. Flies were crawling ALL over the tables in eating area, at register, and FOOD PREP areas!!! Twice before, ordered salads and they were disgusting. Wilted browned lettuce, slimy/molded tomatoes and cucumbers. Had to throw them out, couldn't eat, as the slimy state of the veggies made me concerned about food poisoning. Went a third time and order was messed up. Salads were still gross. Not sure how the Health Department hasn't closed this place down. This Pizza Hut in Belen is TERRIBLE! ZERO STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE. Walked in to pick up some pizza and wings and I was NOT acknowledged at all. Mind you I was the only customer there. There were two adults in the front one lady and an older man with glasses and neither one said one word, just kept doing what they were doing. Not a I will be with you in a moment, nothing. I stood there for about 5 minutes when another person came in to pick up an order. And the lady working there was very unpleasant. She did not give me the soda that was ordered either. RIPOFF. The Los Lunas Pizza Hut just gave us the worst service I have ever experienced led by the night manager who refused to give us the store number so we couldn't review them accurately here. Actually we got no service since we eventually left without ordering. They would not take our order or even offer how with manager pointing to a sign saying we had to order up front first after letting us sit ten minutes. Then everything we tried to order they were out of or had to order on the app. They don't deserve one star. Rude, conceited and absolutely unprofessional. They should be fired. After 12 years work in restaurants I've seen bad service but this place takes the cake. Should be boycotted read more

Kids wanted to stop here on a short road trip. Yes - I saw the reviews. I was out-voted LOL. Literally the only dine-in customers in the place, which is always an ominous sign at 8pm on a Friday night. Waited a while to be seated, ordered beverages and waited..................... Waitress started taking delivery orders over the phone - after watching about 10 phone orders go in - I went to register and asked manager if I could order. He was a total a-hole. Rudely stated our waitress would have to take our order. Long painful story - the food sucked, the service was worse. I'm venting here to avoid having a stroke. I just ate at the belen new mexico pizza hut and was welcomed warmly by the staff! I cant count how many times rebecca the waitress came over to our table to check on us and ask if we needed anything... The pizza was served hot and delicious...i especially like the stuffed crust.. First of all, I was placed on hold for 10+ minutes. I finally hung up and called back. I was surprised by the way Sam answered the phone. Very unprofessional! We asked for delivery, but it was a 65 minute time frame for delivery. We decide to pick up our selves. We ordered two pizzas and wanted bone in wings but they were out of bone in wings. We settled on boneless. Went to pick up and they said our order was not ready. When in fact, it had the wrong name on the box. When the our food arrived, the pizza was so dry and the wings were so cold! Unfortunately, Belen is limited in restaurant choice. ok, this is my 2nd review for this Pizza Hut in 4 months... my last review was only 2 stars (bad customer service, the food is pretty decent)... this time I'm giving it 1 star because this is about the 6th time I've had an issue with this store... I placed a delivery order for 2 personal pan pizzas, a plate of spaghetti, and a 20 oz Pepsi... I specifically requested that the order include packets of parmesan cheese and crushed peppers... she told me they were out of parmesan cheese, but she would make sure the driver has plenty of crushed peppers... the delivery driver arrived in 25 minutes (this was the only good part) he only had the two pizzas and the spaghetti... I asked him for the crushed peppers, and he told me that they were out of crushed peppers... I told him that the woman I spoke with who took my order so there was plenty of crushed peppers... the driver said "oh, let me go back to the store and get some for you" (so he lied to a customer rather than admitting to making a mistake, typical millennial)... as he walked away from the door I realized I didn't have my Pepsi, so I asked him if he had it... he looked down at his itemized receipt, looked back at me and said that there was no Pepsi listed lb the order (another lie)... after he left I called and spoke to the manager (Jim)... I explained everything that just happened and he said that he would definitely talk to the driver (Jared) when he got back... He also confirmed that they have plenty of crushed peppers in stock... Jim gave me a $10 credit on my account for the next time I place an order... the delivery driver returned about 15 minutes later with a 2 liter bottle of Pepsi and a bag full of crushed peppers... needless to say he did not receive a tip... Service was fine. Good moods and attitudes there. That's always helpful. The pizza was pretty good, I'm just picky overall with pizza crust. I got the hand tossed, but not much flavor in it. Ordered a pizza. 30 minutes later, got a text saying it was on its way. 45 mins later decided to call to see what was taking so long. Lady asked if I can please hold, I said sure. She put the phone down but didn't press hold so I could hear everything. 5 mins later another lady picks up. I tell her the pizza's taking a while. She says ok she'll check what's going on. She comes back saying they're out of dough and they called me saying that. I never got a call. She stayed she could refund it to the card. I said sure. No refund ever came. We stopped in Belen to grab a bite to eat after spending the day in Albuquerque with my visiting in-laws. Pizza Hut should have been a fairly safe bet, right? Forget that place. It took forever to even get our drinks and the gal had to come back 3 times to ask us what all we wanted and bring them out to us. 2 coffees, a cherry pepsi, 4 adult waters, 1 kid water. They had to brew a pot of coffee because none was made at that point, 4:30 in the afternoon. The pepsi was in a smaller glass than the waters. When my husband asked if he could get a jug of pepsi (so the waitress wouldn't have to keep coming out to refill it because it was advertised as free refills) she brought out a 2 liter bottle, 5 plastic cups with ice and charged him for it. When he asked about it, she said the manager said they weren't supposed to keep going out to the customer's tables. So basically, they aren't honoring the free refill advertisement and charging for it instead. Then the food... good grief. All four of us adults had the chicken/pasta pre-made dishes and a personal size pan pizza for my 4 year old son. The pre-made ones obviously just had to be stuck in the oven to be warmed up so they didn't take long. A bit crunchy on top from being in too long but they tasted ok. We were all finished by the time they got around to bringing out my son's pizza who had been eating a bag full of goldfish crackers we had brought in from the car with us while he waited. At least the waitress brought him a coloring page and crayons so he was occupied while not having any food. Never going there again. This pizza hut inside is not like the many others I have been to. The floor is all concrete and the paint is wearing away. We sat down a small group at a table we waited like 10mins b4 some one finally came to ask what we wanted to drink and we were the only people in there. Than it took another 15 or 20 mins b4 we actually got our drinks and bein that there was 4 of us she still manage to forget what we drinks we had. It took 30mins b4 she we got to the two cups of coffee. When the waitress finally got the soft drink to us we had to stop her and say we were ready to order or it would of been a lot longer b4 we could order being now it was 40 mins in. We ordered some simple things and with the food if you got a soft drink it says free refills so I asked if they could bring out a small jug since getting our drinks in the first place to for ever. A littler while later she brought out a 2 liter bottle and I thought that was strange. We had ordered 4 of the same thing and than a small personal pizza well we were ready to go by the time the person pizza was done. Than I saw the bill the charged me for the glass of soda than I see they charged me for the 2 little bottle of soda and I asked why that is since it say free refills and I was told that they don't do that so when some one asks for a jug they bring them a 2 little and not let them know that they are being charged for it. I asked our waitress why that is and she went to the manager and you could hear that manager for miles and she was snotty and rude. How she became a manager is beyond my belief she has no skills and has no clue how to run a business if I was the owner she would of never made manager and as well she would of and should be fired. I would of been happy just to pay for the 2 little soda and not the first glass of soda I had since they made me pay for both so I basically paid over 4 dollars for a 2 little soda.
