Fly infested restaurant. Very rude employees that stood around complaining about an HR complaint made against them, while paying customers were waiting to pay for meals. Staff all kept looking over at us, but kept on chatting. I had to ask the first person I saw if they would please take my money. Then the wait was insane. My husband had to go up and ask what the hold up was, the supervisor (I'm assuming) said she had it. Another 15 minutes went by. Then she saw me watching her and said "Here, it's ready " wouldn't even bring it out, but made sure to bring everyone else's meals to them while we were there. I visit this McDonald's as it is the only one closest to me to not have to drive even further than the 49 miles I already drive. On this particular day I ordered a happy mean with a water. They told me to pull over to slot number one because they gave me tea. I pull over the girl comes out and asks me what I needed I told her the water and ketchup. Staff was incredibly inconsiderate of customers. Once the girls at the counter realized I didn't speak good Spanish, they all treated me very rude. They neglected to approach me when I went up to the counter to get missing items from order despite several people making eye contact with me. While my family and I were trying to enjoy our meal as we were dining in, the girls behind the counters were yelling and screaming at each other being very loud and obnoxious, occasionally laughing and giggling while looking over at us. Funny how the manager is the one getting the food orders put together and still forgets food items, I called them over 20 times with no answer, when I finally decided to go to the store the manager played dumb like she didn't know English (just to answer a employee's question in perfect English) and still refused to give me my missing items. read more

When we first walk in, there are three employees sitting in the lobby area, no masks, on their phones. Then we walk up to the counter and wait.......and wait............and wait.....You can hear the employees in the back laughing and talking about things their friends did. There was eye contact but then nothing. We gave up and walked out. We were the only customers inside. Going back to the car, the drive thru, two lanes, hadn't moved from when we walked in and they were already backed up! Oh, I forgot to mention the smell. Just going to say that this location is NOT practicing COVID SAFE regulations! The drive thru, (rude) wannabe manager gave me the wrong drinks. After I put a straw, took a drink, she realized I received the wrong beverages and asked for the drinks back. I swapped out the drinks. I WATCHED the woman put the drink in a holder for the car that was waiting behind me. They gave the drink I took a sip out of, TO THE people in line behind my husband and I! I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich today..it was almost $4.00 bucks. It arrived with one of those brioche buns and 2 dry pickles..I brought it home, ate a couple of bites and gave the rest to my dogs. Really disgusting. If you want tomatoes, lettuce and some kind of sauce, you have to order the DELUXE version, which is even more expensive. And they are trying to compete with Popeyes chicken sandwich??? For the past few times my husband and I have gone to this establishment it has been absolutely awful. Our food is thrown together, messy, and over all disgusting. Typical food. The $1$2$3 menu is a jokge. No $1 items anymore and the remaining items are limited to 5 total. Now the food - oatmeal mostly water - ugh! The orange juice from minute maid (if I was minute maid - I would be pissed at this representation of my product) I mean how much water did you add to this item - tastes nothing like orange juice. More like disgusting orange flavored water (and not the good kind). Now even worse - the employees. Managerial personnel were texting on their phones - 4 people with upper management tags on their phones while people stood at the counter. I had to ask twice for a spoon. Ridiculous. Tables filthy. I've been here a few times since December 2019. It seems like the day shift employees are more about joking around and chatting with each other than the job. While in the drive through the last time, the lady who handed out the order was yelling pretty much in my ear to her friend across the parking lot and then laughing... Then she handed me the wrong order. It's good to have fun at work, but you need to pay attention to the customers too. read more

Why 5 Stars? Look, it's just a McDonalds like every other McDonalds everywhere else. Same food, same taste, same consistency, same 2 pickles on your hamburger, same 1/2 a slice of cheese on your Filet-O-Fish, same packaging, same decor. If you are going to a McDonalds, it's because you like McDonalds and you are going to get exactly what you want when you go here. If your food has an issue, tell them and they will replace it. What earns this McDonalds a 5 is that the employees here are really outstanding, they are friendly and they do their job right. This is a direct reflection of what must be good management. Bonus is that they will put Hatch New Mexican Green Chile on your order upon request. This is something unique to New Mexico and I wish they offered it in other states, but it's a bonus you can get this in New Mexico. Ordered at the new touch screen, asked for extra sauces. The 20 piece comes with 3 sauces to begin with, and my husband ordered extra for his hot and spicy sandwiches. We only received 3 sauces. Went back to the counter, asked for the sauces I requested, and was told I have to pay for them. I HAVE TO PAY when I requested the sauces on the touch screen example where it doesnt charge you for the sauces, they still said it is 25 cents for extra sauce. Even my eat in ticket requested sauces. I have already taken the job from them of ordering, and now I have to take their job on honoring their system. This McDonald's totally is the worst in so many ways. Every time it's something. Went thru today and they wanted to charge me for ice while leaving me parked and waiting, then the manager refused to come out, then when she did she refused to give me ice or my money back and threatened to call the police on me bcuz i refused to move from waiting spot one to waiting spot two til I got the ice. Managers name was Eileen. Then she refused to give me the number to complain about her. I called another McDonald's for it but i can already tell by talking to them whose side they will be on. The reason this McDonald's sucks so bad is bcuz everybody from employee to corporate are rude, unprofessional, and basically have their heads up some you know what's. If you have to have a burger, anywhere else is better than the McDonald's in belen. They can't get a single thing right there and you will regret it every time. Plus they have had several employees infected with the virus and are not reporting them to the state so they don't get shut down. Rudest workers of any fast food place I've ever been. Nobody at the pay window, waited until the car in front of me had their food at window 2 then moved to window 2. Guy at window 2 says "In the future please pay at window 1" (by the way I could have taken the food and not paid at all) I told him there wasn't anyone there and he says "you should have waited longer"! So I call back to speak to a manager and a male voice answered. I asked whom I was speaking to and he said "what does it matter".
