Burger was old, tots cold but sundae was good. We didn't finish our tots and bugars. No wonder meal was 7.00 bucks lol

Rude little girl working at this location Jacqueline Acosta needs better training in customer service. Sat in the car hop with a million workers staring at our huge diesel truck not one person answered the speaker. According to the manager the battery died on the headset. Instead of coming out letting us know they just stared at us. Little manager had the audacity to tell me that if no one was in the drive thru I should have went through there. I didn't want to go through the drive thru. I wanted to order through the car hop. But instead of you know admitting wrong she just blamed me the customer. Rude little high school kid need's training in customer service. I will be making this an issue and will be reaching out to her boss, and their boss and everyone up the chain to make sure this little girl knows you don't treat customers like this! read more

Angel is ugly inside and out and should not have the name angel because she does not act like it. Is by far the worst most unqualified manager I have cone across. I don't know who else to contact in regards to my interaction with alleged manager because I can't even believe how bad of an experience I had with her. I don't think she should be a manger not at sonic not anywhere and I'm at this point never ever coking back. I'm willing to drive 2 hours to a different location rather than ever having to see angel again. I can't emphasize this enough. Food was cold and it looked sad and I felt said eating it. read more

If they could get the order right? Service was lousy. Food ordered was not what was given to me. Worst location possible. Workers don't get the order right, it's annoying. Every time! read more

Service is just so bad here. I get they are young but they legit have no customer service and basically demand tips. It takes a really long time and even when placing an order online they take forever. read more

Guy with clear glasses who took my order out was really nice, fast, and the food was great. the drinks were good Aswell, The shake i ordered was alright but i will be coming back soon! read more

Continued awful service...pull uo to stall, even when they are n I t busy..and no one comes over the intercom...EVER. It seems this Belen, NM location doesnt need anyone's business. Wonder if the corporate office realizes how they treat customers all the time. This has been going on years. I swing by occasionally to see if it improves..and it does not. Terrible response time..terrible cust service. Stay away!! This was with hardly any customers. read more

I waited 10 minutes at a drive up parking spot to order. Drove to the drive up window and waited. Please fix your signs so people don't have to rely on you to tell them what's on the dessert menu. That causes another long wait. read more

Sonic Drive-In - Missing dessert menu - Burgers Near Me - Belen, New Mexico

First thing is the service is horrible! The worst Sonic I've ever been to. You wait forever to order in the first place, Secondly you always have to ask for mustard and ketchup for the corn dogs, they are supposed to put limes and cherries in the limeade drinks but these guys don't! The manager here is a joke! I won't be back to this Sonic even though I live here, I'll drive to Los Lunas or Bosque Farms, it's too frustrating to come to this one in Belen, NM. I don't recommend you waste your time. Where is the real higher ups at? Don't they see what's going on here?? read more

The worst thing about this place, It's a guarantee you will wait atleast 15-20 mins. Employees are the worst I've dealt with in Belen. And just about everytime something is missing or incorrect. Go somewhere else. read more

I love sonic especially the sonic blast! But every time I go there is always a line and it is always slow. I spend 30 minutes in line for an ice cream. It's just really unreasonable. So in short they have great yummy food, drinks and ice cream but just not worth the wait. It seems like even when they are not that busy it still takes long. read more

Got a blast and two separate shakes, and the ice cream was just vanilla ice cream on the bottom they made it seem as if it was the shakes by adding toppings .Manager said I had to take the ice cream all the way back across town or they wouldn't refund anything or give credits and hung up one me read more

I have to say this is the worst Sonic I've ever been to! Why does it take 30+ mins for 2 drinks I ordered on the mobile app! The Customer Service is an absolute joke! I learned early on before leaving this location I have to check my drinks because half the time it's wrong. read more

SUPER LONG WAIT. Every single time I come it is a 30 minute wait or more even when they r not busy. Horrible management.

Does this place ever have their sh** together?? I pre-ordered on the app and have been waiting over 20 minutes for my 3 drinks. Yes, you read that correctly, no food, just drinks. If I could have rated negative stars, I would. I write this review only after numerous negative experiences. read more

The wait here is the longest just to place your order. Then another very long wait for the order to come out even when ordering through the app. When they finally bring your food out it's incorrect. The managers Felicia and Conrad are the worst at customer service. read more

The only thing Sonic has going for it is the ice, drinks & ice cream but the ice cream is pricey! Very slow service& the mobile app doesn't jive with their current menu! Get it together!! Got a burger & I asked for lettuce & tomato but they failed to put it on there. Waited 30 mins for two fish sandwich combos & got them somewhat smashed & thrown together & wrapper was all ripped. Not sure what happened there. Burgers & fries always cold. They need to step up quality of food & service!!! Yeah I know ur busy but really? There are other alternatives. read more

GREAT service ! Drive through cashiers very respectful (Andy Molina ) &(Cameron Ortega )! My favorite food to order is their Signature Slingers * ! Also great environment to hang out with friends ! read more

Most of the reviewers here are a bunch of crybabies.... In my life I've visited dozens and dozens of Sonic's all across the West.... I visit this one pretty often (my hometown). It's not the greatest Sonic I've seen but is CERTAINLY adequate..... I always take one star reviews with a grain of salt because @$$#OL€$ abound! Cheers read more

the service sucks , the manager is rude and the wait time for a cherry limeade is ridiculous

This review is for the patty melt only. Stick to a hamburger or chicken anything but a patty melt!!!!

Very poor, slow service. I have more than once sat at stall for 30+ min and not even been acknowledged.

The service has been getting worse and worse I just waited in line 30 minutes for 1 32 ounce drink when they give it to me forgot the straw. Don't stop here if you want good service in a hurry read more

They constantly get orders wrong and then when you call one of the managers has the nerve to question your motives for calling. She is very condescending, perhaps she needs to take classes in customer relations or find a new JOB! Everyone deserves to get what they pay for and good customer service! read more

This experience here was dreadful. We placed our orders verbally because the drive thru speaker wasn't working. We got Tenders and 4 Milkshakes, that took over 30 minutes to receive the wrong Tender order and mixed milkshakes. One of the girls Savannah was so rude in drive thru. Then about 35 minutes in another staff member asked " Can we help you?" Before we had to remind them of the order we placed. Never come here. read more

The WORST sonic ever! They never takes your order you will be waiting over 30 minutes for anyone to take your order you have to go through the drive thru to get that crappy service. Mariah is the worst manger i have ever dealt with. read more

The absolute worst service you can have anywhere. After waiting for twenty minutes in a stall after online ordering for a burrito and pretzel I pressed the button and they informed me that they didn't have any carhops available. I then had to go through the drive through after wasting a useless twenty minutes where they could have told me to go through the drive through in the first place. read more

I've been a fan of Sonics for many years. I've had their food in multiple places from Oregon, California, and here in New Mexico. They're named "sonics" because their slogan at one time was they gave service "at lightning speed." The service at this particular location is slow regardless of what time of day it is. It shouldn't take ten minutes for tots and a couple of drinks with 4 or 5 customers max. I try to avoid this location because the quality is not so good either. Leaky, messy shakes, cold tots, and the clencher is, if they missed something on your order--you're lucky to get it at all. Weeks back they had BOGO wing specials. I'd been going there every other week to stock up on my weekend lunches. Well, this time I only received one. I used the intercom to try and communicate their error and was told it would be ten minutes because "we're busy." If YOU made the error, I should be the priority considering I was in line before the other customers. My kids in the car growing just as impatient as I am. I waited 15 minutes and used the intercom again and was told it would be out in just a few minutes. After 5 more minutes I got out of the car and and attempted to get the attention of someone inside since no one was answering the intercom. Inside I saw 2 or three employees with their backs to the windows conversating, water and shake mix all over the floor, and no one paying any attention to the person waving and knocking outside. I was disgusted and furious and left without the chicken I'd ordered almost a half hour prior. God forbid I have to come here--I only order something manageable and if there are more than 4 cars, forget it. I recommend everyone go to Circle T, or Blake's or where ever because this location is not worth it, especially if they're busy. The teens and management aren't paid enough to care. I know it's fast food, but a little pride and sense of urgency goes a long way. read more

It's not too bad considering the town I've had better it's deafly not clean the clientele to come here but it's a heck of a lot better than that Gato Gato McDonald's you have all the bicycle people here and McDonald's sell on the top of the bicycles and they sure could clean it up to the room to they don't careWhat can you do to get a town keep it real read more

Service is bad, the employee ls are always talking about personal problems and don't acknowledge the customer. Got my order wrong twice, and no apology was given. read more

Ate at drive in, had to repeat order three times and they still got it wrong. Hot dog bun was absolutely stale, and inedible--even the dog turned it down. This experience may have turned me off Sonic forever. On the bright side, it took longer to order than to get our food. Sigh, if only it had been the food we'd wanted and edible, lol. read more

This Sonic is AWESOME!! Consistently good food, correct orders, and very friendly staff. Plus they are so nice to my dog :)

Sonic is good for the different menu items and drinks but price and time to get your food its outrageous talk about 30 minutes for a shake
