Kitchen staff does not wear gloves or hair nets. Lots of food cooked in microwave. Seems like a country kitchen but is very cliche

This place is pretty good for Belen and the prices are fair. Steak and eggs for under $15 can't beat that.

Oasis Cafe - Chips and queso. The queso is great value nacho cheese, I'm sure of it. Nothing added to spice it up , just plain cheese for $7

I've been here once a couple of years ago and…read moredidn't like it but I seen the restaurant busy when I passed by a couple of times so I was curious. The place was empty when we walked in. We sat down and we had the friendliest waitress ever. Really good service, checked on us constantly. The queso came out and it's really just nacho cheese from the can, I know because I have some at home lol. My hamburger was a little small even after adding a second patty for a total of $18. It was good but not $18 good. And they forgot my bacon. It wasn't til I was driving home looking at some pictures when I realized I paid for a bacon burger! Aye ya yi. My kids CFS came out and it looked great until I looked closer and realized it was mashed potato flakes from a box, I'm 100 sure of it and the gravy was turkey gravy. They also forgot her toast. I think they buy all this generic stuff and try to sell it as restaurant grade food but it's not fooling me. I can tell the difference easily. $40 for the burger, CFS and chips con queso haha. I do NOT recommend this place. Sorry I wanted to like it but nope...btw I would've only left one star if it wasn't for the great service by the young lady who told us she's only been there 3 days. She did a great job

Not a busy place, but it seemed like one server for the whole floor, which was expansive. They seemed to be preparing for a very large party to come in. Spoke to the owner, Izzy, who seems very involved and passionate about his business. He says they use this place for large parties and a weekly rotary club meeting. He also says they use the parking lot for food trucks and pop-up restaurants. How cool!

The hamburger was more than well done and was dry and tasteless. I had to ask for mayo to help it go down. No condiments brought to the table unless you asked and then it took forever. The bills were screwed up so the waitress said just go to the cash registered. I was charged for things I did not order and the cashier wanted to argue about it since she had several slips that the waitress couldn't figure out who ordered what. When I questioned my bill she cold not figure out how to reverse the charge on my credit card. Eventually, she gave me a couple dollars in cash (I was owed more but I was done with this) My husband had lunch with a friend at the same time and they both ordered a simple breakfast. I believe I saw that it was about $9 on the menu for each. They got charged for three meals and the bill still came to $35! They were done with that too. Not going back.
