The Ambiance was bad, because the cooks are standing around just looking at me as I'm ordering, one of the cooks with blondish brown hair in a ponytail rolls her eyes at me as I am placing my order, I ordered 3 fish sandwiches, 1 with no tomato because I'm allergic to them, 2 of them with no tarter sauce, because my son doesn't eat green chile, 2 fries and 2 drinks, I asked my friend if he noticed the cook rolling her eyes at me he says yes he did, so we get our order, the 2 orders of fries are dumped upside down in the bag, we had to fish them out and put them in the little cartons, the fries were ice cold, and not fresh, we were there at about 11:30-ish on Sunday March 16,2025, they were not busy. The fish sandwiches are basically 2 fish sticks on a bun, actually McDonald's has a better fish sandwich, I threw mine away and my friend gave his to the dogs, I do not recommend this Blake's Lotaburger, save your money and your time, and definitely save your frustration, we were not going to waste our time going all the way back to deal with bad customer service again. I haven't been to Blakes in almost a year. So, I thought I would love a breakfast burrito with bacon and green chili. I called and got a robot to place my order which was different but it was okay. I pIcked it up, got home and opened it up, it made with some kind of red sauce, it wasn't red chili and a few pieces of green chili. The sauce actually reminded me of the canned enchilada sauce. I tried to eat it but it was just plain nasty. I threw it away. What a disappointment and a total rip off at $6+. I won't be going back. Now I remember why I haven't been there in so long. Blake's Lotaburger - a half eaten donut - Fast Food Near Me - Belen, New Mexico

Yuck. We went last night and got a tiny burger, a NM style burger, one small fry and one medium drink. It was $18. But, it wouldn't have been worth $5! The meat was raw and tasteless. The fries were also tasteless. If the cereal we ate when we got home after throwing that gross food away didn't taste so good, I might've thought we had lost our tastebuds. I was very disappointed because I hadn't had Blake's Lotaburger in three years and was looking forward to it. BIG disappointment for my grandson and myself. It's too expensive to give them another shot another day. I don't have $18 to throw away. Why two stars and not one? It was good in the past. read more

I tried to order over the phone and they did not pick up for about 10 minutes so I decided to drive to the store and they were not busy at all. the people at the front were gossiping as the person who took our order was laughing when he came to take our order. and I got my order pretty fast but the fries were obviously reheated and not fresh very disappointed. read more

My husband went in to get dinner and at a time when covid counts aree off the hook high...their staff were all wearing masks as though the are chin straps!!!! He pointed out to the Mgr that the cook was wearing his around his neck but it fell on the mgrs deaf ears since she has hers under her chin!! I called the corp. 20 years ago, I came to the Southwest for the first time. We used to stop and get Lotaburger on road trips. I always loved their burgers. Now, I live in the Midwest, and returned to New Mexico to visit. So, as soon as I saw this Lotaburger, I had to stop and get a burger. The burgers are just as good as I remember. The burgers are juicy, fresh, and have generous toppings. They make everything to order, which I love. The onion rings were yummy and homemade. The French fries look hand-cut and taste like real potatoes. My son enjoyed his shake. Some of the best fast food you can get. It was also extremely reasonable for the quality of food you get. Service was very good too. I'm sad to return home where there is no Blake's Lotaburger. read more

Today I was more than dissappointed with blakes a once cherished place to eat is now mediocre at best...No care in the process employees standing around in kitchen talking with no gloves no hairnets..when i stuck my hand in the bag I was surprised by a squish which was my burger drenched in mustard...which i stated i didnt want on the burger to begin with (mayo only) dispite this i took a huge bite to look down and see a pink center of a 2cm thick patty that i waited over 20 minutes for i just dont understand what went wrong today but im definitely hesitant to return.... read more

Food at this location has been good every time I stop by. It reminds me of going to Blake's when I was a kid. For some reason, the food just seemed to be better back then. Nowadays I am not always pleased with Blake's locations in Albuquerque but the fries and burgers here are very good. read more

The service here is awful. Before coming to the location we tried ordering food online, when we went to check out on the site it said that there was a communication receiving error. So then we tried to call it in. The number that was on the website sent us to an automated message system where it only gave you a select option of things. After that had failed we asked to speak to an agent where the lady was helpful and took our order but when we went to check out she transferred us to the store and we were on hold for 15 minutes. Once we realized that nobody was going to answer we chose to drive down to the store. There was one girl on the grill and a boy doing fries. All while 4 employees stood in the back talking away. We finally had to ask to place an order when one of the boys casually walked to the front and asked us what we needed to order. Grew up eating and loving Lotaburgers. What has happened??? Itsaburgers used to be much bigger than what they call a Lotaburger nowadays. Prices keep going up and sizes keep going down. So I am waiting in line and I over hear the counter employee reading back the lady in front of me's order. It goes like this: "blah blah *full meal* with a peach shake , blah blah blah *full meal* with a vanilla shake and blah blah blah *full meal*with a chocolate shake. Is that all?" "Yes" and she pays my turn. "I'll have a peach shake" "We ran out" "Dude, I just heard you read back that lady's order including a peach shake." When in and ordered. I asked for my fries to be made fresh so they will be hot and they said that they would. When received my order the man put the fries that had been sitting in the heating lamp. I asked about that and they got upset and said they were busy, and no more than 4 people were waiting for their order. I ask for corporate number and they just walked away. Wow! Lately the burgers Lota Burger have been serving up in the ABQ area have been marginal at best. So mediocre that I almost passed this place up. The double green cheese burger was fresh and hot, as were the seasoned fries. It was lunch time and the place was clean and the help friendly. Certainly no criticism here. Delicious. read more

Excellent breakfast burritos. Favorite is the sausage, egg, hashbrown with red and green chile. Every thing is made fresh.They have never messed up any of our breakfast burritos...even if we have a big order. It will take 10 to 15 minutes. Breakfast ends at 11. Burgers are ok...chile is usually hot and delicious. If you are in a hurry, call 10 minutes ahead and place an order. read more

Yes it is fast food but it is hot and fresh and the folks that work here are fabulous! They are very friendly. We stop here frequently for breakfast burritos and they are made while you wait, so good! Plus they are huge and cheap. The restaurant is kept clean. read more
