Andreann took our to-go order, and while we waited, we sat at a nearby table. She came over and told us the tables were for dine-in customers only and that we needed to wait by the large fan instead. I would completely understand if the restaurant had been busy, there was a waitlist, or customers were waiting for tables but none of that was the case. There were plenty of open tables, and the way she spoke to us came across as unnecessarily rude. We ended up sitting on a bench outside while we waited. At some point our order was ready, but we have no idea how long it had been sitting there because no one called our name or even stepped outside to let us know. Overall, the whole interaction left a bad impression. We were paying customers too, even if our order was to-go, and a little basic courtesy would have gone a long way. Pretty crowded on a Friday night for a casual Italian eatery in Pismo Beach. That's always a good sign to me. But, I come to find out that the poor servers were running around nonstop because they were short handed. So although the wait to sit and be served was a little long, I completely understand given their circumstance. Food was delicious and big portions. At the host stand you can clearly see dirt buil-up and an iced up machine. Sloppy wires on the ceiling covered in grime. More or less stuck with this pizza as it would make the experience worse to have to walk back and wait another 20 minutes then walk back to the hotel. Buffalo sauce was homemade not too hot, just to my liking. The pizza I loved just as much. We got a combo and right amount of meat and veggies. When we visit pismo beach, we always visit Pizmo! We came in tonite, Vic was our waiter, they were VERY busy and it was JUST VIC! this guy was doing everything, we told him when he seated us, hey we're not in a rush so no worries. We watched him single handedly take care of at least 2 large parties without a complaint, we offered to help bus the tables to help him as there was no BUSSER the only other person we saw was the cook until the very end I assume the dishwasher came out and helped but by that time the craziness was done. One couple came in and Vic let them know it would be 15 minutes before he could help them but they could sit at a table, (as he did to everyone) they got mad and left.
