We went on a Thursday night around 7:30 pm and we had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated. The place was busting at the seams busy. It's super cute inside and outside. We were brought our drinks and served warm bread and butter as we surfed the menu for our dinner choices. To start we got the Sicilian rice and cheese balls as an appetizer. And they did not disappoint. I preferred the marinara sauce over the ranch. For dinner I got the carbonara and Mark got the chicken fettuccine. Our portions were enough to fed two extra people. But who's complaining we have lunch for tomorrow. This place was great. We will definitely be making this a regular stop when visiting the area now.

Great little spot to get your pasta kick! The servers were nice and the food came out in a timely manner. The place is on the smaller side so the only negative is the loud unsavory conversation beside us. We ordered the carbonara and a seafood pasta both of which were delicious. They didn't give us bread for the table and the waitress took a little long to greet us once we were seated but overall it was a good experience. Also, the tiramisu is delicious and one of the best I've tried in this county!

The food was great, the service was amazing. We really enjoyed tonight's dinner. With love Colorado!

On the recommendation of my friend, Jeopardy John, we are here last night. I had the pasta puttanesca. It was good and bad. Bad: my dish had the top of the tomato called the calyx which I don't believe is edible. Good: taste, well prepared and appetizing to the eye.

Amazing service and great food, we will definitely be back! Ordered Caesar Salads, Chicken Parm and Pesto Tortellini. The Pesto Tortellini was the star of the show!

Is my beloved cannelloni ever offered as a special? I see it is no longer on the menu.

They don't have nightly specials but it is on the menu I've seen him make it several times over the last several weeks. It's one of my favorites it's super yummy. Thank you so much for coming in

The place has alot going on. Always crowded and busy, it's a popular place. To the right is the sit down eatery and bar. Towards the middle of the shop they sell imported Italian dry goods, pasta, olive oil, wines, snacks, bottled olives and the such. You can order deli sandwiches, slices of pizza, gelato, and other to go items at the counter. For deli customers, there are a few two chair tables indoor and outdoor. The line setup for the counter was a fiasco though. Some folks were lining up horizontally and vertically to the counter; folks in line had to self police. But officially the line is horizontal, that way you can view the offerings before you order at the register. Hub's and I ordered and shared a meatball sandwich and salad. The sandwich was omg delicious! Nice big fat tasty meatballs in the Sunday sauce on toasted roll. Cheesy mozzarella melted in topped. Beautiful, satisfying, seemingly endless cheese stretch. Solid quality bread. The salad was fresh and gorgeous looking. Perfect avocado slices. Good pricing for the serving size.

I ordered the pepper + sausage rigatoni and it was so good! I was told the sausage was ground in house as well which I thought was really cool. Desserts (again made in house) all tasted amazing. We got the cannoli, lemon cheese cake, carrot cake and pistachio gelato. The pastries were all well balanced and not too sweet and the gelato actually had a perfect texture and amazing nutty flavor to it. Coming from an Italian family we have high standards when it comes to Italian food and everything surpasses the mark here! Highly recommend if you are in Pismo Beach.

The oysters were excellent and very reasonably priced for a dozen. The biggest surprise was actually the kids' mac and cheese. This is definitely not boxed mac and cheese. It came with fresh curly noodles, Gouda and several other cheeses, rosemary, and honestly tasted like gourmet mac and cheese. The portion was huge too, basically adult-sized. I thought it was even better than the kids' fish and chips. I had the rockfish bowl over brown rice, which was a very large portion and tasted incredibly fresh. My husband had the fish tacos and loved them as well. Pricing felt pretty standard for fresh seafood in a vacation town. For our family of 4, it came to around $155 after tip without alcohol or dessert, and we left completely stuffed. If you're visiting Pismo Beach and looking for fresh seafood and generous portions, I definitely recommend Ada's Fish House. We're down here for a little getaway, and this was a great dinner choice.

When we were seated, we didn't get any silverware until 20 minutes after, and only until another server realized we had no silverware at our table. That was pretty disappointing. Our food was served pretty quickly after each other, but we did notice that the cheeseburger still hadn't arrived. We asked about it and the server apologized and let us know it was missed. The cheeseburger was delivered pretty late into the meal and when the rest of us were almost done with our appetizers. For the food, everything was okay. The tartare I felt was pretty small. The tenders were my favorite part of the meal and what everyone agreed was the best.

Rarely do I walk away from a dining experience where the quality of service and quality of food fight to outshine one another, but this was one of those spots. Our server, a German gentleman, was the consummate professional- always friendly, never overstepping, and added such a warm dimension to our meal. The fried green tomatoes and the white beet appetizers were standouts. I especially loved the vinegary dressing on the greens of the beet dish. For mains, we got the leek olive potato pizza, the ribeye, and the wood fire poached halibut. The avocado chimichurri that accompanied the ribeye was the perfect balance, and the sautéed greens under the fish were savory with the right amount of bite. I also liked their selection of mocktails; the pink pony club was a particular standout. All this for $200 was a better price tag than I was expecting, but most importantly, it got the stamp of approval from my notoriously picky grandmother and uncle. This spot is worth the drive.
