Okay, so this place was bomb. Came in on a Friday night with family and some friends. We were from out of the area, had heard zero hype, and just wanted some pizza. We ordered their white chicken pizza, an antipasto salad, and a kids spaghetti: White Chicken Pizza -- dude, so delicious. Rich and garlicky, with a super generous amount of chicken, cheese, and mushroom. The crust was able to hold up to the heaviness of all the toppings. This thing was a pizza masterpiece. Antipasto Salad -- I ordered a small, yet it still felt massive. Their house made Italian dressing was so good! Kid's Spaghetti w/ Meat Sauce -- simple and nostalgic. Can easily serve an adult. Our friends ordered a calzone and the thing was an absolute beast, served with a giant bowl of red sauce. It was amazing. We're coming back just for one of those next time we're in Pismo. read more

Gf ordered a pizza. She wanted 1/2 with peppers and half without. She is a pizza lover. She rated the overall taste of 5 out of 10. Personally, I would rate it at least a 6. Not bad. But I have tasted frozen pizzas that are better. One of the workers were friendly. The one waiter who brought the food to our table and cleaned up our table. Of course I HAD to stop by Gino's when I was visiting my hometown! I used to come here allllll the time when I lived here. It was so special to come back and show my husband and toddler how great this place is. The staff is still just as nice and I saw familiar faces which was cool. The calzones are still my favorite thing ever and they still have the BEST ranch. Gino's will forever be special to me. They just have the best food and vibes! Pizza/Calzone heaven! The options for pizza and calzone toppings here are endless! Very easy to access this pizza place inside the shopping center, tons of parking. The restaurant isn't huge, but has plenty of seating! The food came out fresh and quick! Top tier ranch as well if you're a pizza & ranch type of person! They've really changed since they first opened, pizza wise. Just like in SLO, dough isn't as high quality, as it once was. Cheese isn't as high quality and the sauce, go figure, is different (used to have more flavor and spice). At least it was cooked all the way, unlike SLO last 3 times I had it! Conveniently located near HWY 101 off 4th St. in the 'Pismo Coast Shopping Plaza' by 'California Fresh Market' with plenty of parking. We ordered their Large 'Gino's Special' which is topped with 'Pepperoni, Sausage, Canadian Bacon, Salami, Bell Peppers, Olives, Onions, and Mushrooms'. The pie was sooooo yummy! They are super generous with the toppings, overflowing and everything was very fresh. I liked that the sauce did not overpower the pizza. The crust was thick and had a perfect toast to it. We also had their 'Fettuccine Pesto Pasta with Chicken'. It comes with a side of bread. This was beyond delicious, definitely the best Pesto Pasta I've ever had! There are plenty of tables and a TV playing live sports. There's also a couple of tables outside. Service was great. Welcoming and friendly cashier, he was helpful with the menu. Gino's is perfect to sit and enjoy a sports game with pizza & beer or pasta & wine. Overall, we had a good experience here and will definitely return to try the 'Calzones'. read more

What is going on with Gino's??? We've ordered for years, very satisfied. When they stopped using Cafe Runner and connected with DoorDash EVERYTHING CHANGED FOR WORSE! I ordered a medium pizza (now less than 10") with extra red sauce & olives and received none of the above. I paid $50 thru DoorDash and got HORRIBLE Pizza. We love this place! Ever since we moved down here 3 years ago, Gino's has been a family lifesaver for last-minute dinners. I know people that drive all the way from the valley just to eat at this pizza place. I would not recommend the deep dish pizza. It's just a thin crust pizza shaped as a deep dish pizza. However..... I would definitely recommend the regular crust pizza! I added a tea cheese and it was loaded with toppings and so damn delicious! I had it delivered and it took just under an hour to arrive. I'll definitely get it again! read more

The three stars are for the pizza. The missing ones are because I don't understand why a business would charge for ranch when you're taking the pizza to go, but if you're eating there, the ranch is free. It's kind of a weird thing to do. Especially when you're used to eating in their restaurant and they just give you the ranch and then all of a sudden they wanna charge you almost 2 dollars for a tiny thing of ranch just because you don't sit in the restaurant. Came in while visiting on a Thursday afternoon around 115. I was greeted by Joe who was very friendly and accommodating since I had my 1 year old baby boy with me. While it's pricey for pizza (almost $30 for a medium with toppings), Gino's still is one of the better pizza spots locally. Their crust is very good compared to others, light and crispy but still substantial enough to support the generous toppings. The meat specifically on the Meat Lover's is noticeably high quality. So the last few times we've gotten Gino's pizza... after consistently ordering from there for my whole adult life, my husband and I noticed the quality of the pizza has gone downhill significantly. It almost seems as though they're pre-cooking their crust, then reheating with the toppings. The crust is hard and dense vs how light and fluffy it used to be. Last night the sauce on the pizza was cold.. not room temp.. cold. I would urge the restaurant to go back to the original way things were done. But for now I think we will remove them from our top pizza choices in the area. read more
