Delightful! First off, the pizza is REALLY good. Delicious; the crust isn't thin and isn't thick, but has just the right balance of crunch and doughiness. The staff is really friendly. I've been greeted with smiles and helpfulness every time. I will say that the inside of the place is small and overly warm; it reminds me of every small pizza joint I went to in NYC back in the day, so it's not terrible by any means, but it is warm. The good news is there is seating outside, so when I get this, that's usually what I do. Very worth a trip. Enjoy it! read more

Beach Pizza - Mushroom and pepperoni - Pizza Near Me - Grover Beach, California

First off this is a 3.5 star review! Service was amazing 5/5 the staff was very friendly, helpful and smiling the whole time! Zero complaints on the service or time it took to get my to go order. Wings- honestly nothing special here. They were good but tiny and standard oven baked wings. I also ordered spicy and got plain wings. For the price I was definitely a little let down! Pesto chicken pizza- again it was solid but nothing special for me. Good flavor combo and good ingredients. Crust was a little on the softer side but a solid pie. That said at these prices you expect to be blown away or have something unique to justify paying almost double any other gourmet pizza place. Overall a solid pizza spot but personally can't justify paying this much. If you want something different, as far as specialty pizzas, then give them a try. read more

Posting a service review first Very friendly looks like a family buisness. It's hot in here seems like no air conditioner. Person prepping our food had one glove on and didn't swap the glove out for new ones. I'm a little considered cleanliness wise I don't think I'll return unless the pizza doesn't make us sick then yes... I'd consider again.... Update Actually pizza was good thank you! read more

We walked in at 8 o'clock. Just got into town from a long drive on vacation and wanted something quick and easy near our Airbnb was sadly disappointed when they said we had to have cash and that they were closing we stood outside discussing where we can go get cash and the guy came out and closed the door behind us and locked up. They were supposed to be open until 930. Highly disappointed, had to walk back to the airbnb get back in our car after a 5 Hour drive and go somewhere that was still open. So we didn't even get to try what looked like amazing pizza. read more

Great Pizza and salad! Fresh, high-quality ingredients. Good sauce and crust with excellent service. The gluten-free pizza option was also really good. I will be coming back anytime I'm in the area and would recommend to friends and family. read more

Ate here 6/20/26 Grover Beach is a pleasant alternative to the frantic busy of Pismo Beach. Found this place through Yelp reviews. Ordered an extra large meat lovers pizza well done. It came out hot and fresh. Crispy crust, generous w/ toppings. Red sauce is mild and a perfect complement to the spicy toppings. Service was prompt and cordial. Restaurant is small, w/ just 4 or 5 tables. This is an extremely casual place if you choose to dine in. Soda is self serve. There are tables outside as well. Pizza was pricey but worth it. Will eat here again. read more

Ordered a medium pepperoni, sausage, mushroom pizza to-go and it was delicious! I just wish I got the buttery crust instead, because the original crust is pretty dry without much flavor. We also got a side of ranch and our total came out to $26. The service was friendly and fast- it took about 15 minutes to make the pizza which was perfect amount of time for us to drive over. Overall a solid experience! read more

While at the coast, I was craving some pizza. It was after 8 and for some reason alot of places were closed. Beach pizza to the rescue. Called in the order, drove down and picked it up. The older gentlemen who made it brought it out and was very personable and friendly. Got the pizza back to the condo, and ate a few slices with their ranch and a few cold beers. We went with a non-traditional pizza, chicken pesto! Very tasty! Even had a few slices left for breakfast the next day. The pizza is more expensive than a chain, but the quality was also much better too! read more

The pizza was absolutely delicious. It's clear this is a family run business and they are doing things right! They were so sweet and accommodating. Gave great recommendations!!! We had the gluten free crust and it was delicious. My son ate the regular crust and said it was delicious as well. The pesto was so good. Everything was fresh and the pizzas came out quickly. Toppings were more than generous. Highly recommend!!! read more

Stopped in on our way home from Morro Bay, thrilled to find a place with gluten-free pizza. The gluten-free pizza was tasty, crispy not a cardboard cracker. Hubs enjoyed a small chicken pesto pizza well done just like he likes it. Ate outside with the pups...small patio dining with two tables worked perfectly. Staff was super kind; will definitely stop again. read more

Amazing pizza and customer service!!! This is our go-to pizza in Pismo beach. Everything has been delicious!

The pizza in my opinion was average. You can tell the cheese is not the best quality, which was a plastic texture. However the sauce and crust were good. Wings were fatty, breadsticks were great. Service was average. read more

Four stars on the food. Good food at good prices. But the service is what gives it the fifth star. Placed an order during the Super Bowl and food was delivered WAY faster than expected. I was shocked. There was a little hiccup on the delivery but I called and they more than fixed the situation. Honest folk that make quality food. Would be back to support next time I'm in town. read more

We love this place! Our usual order is a large pepperoni and black olive for my husband and teen, and a small chicken pesto pizza for me. The garlic twist crust is YUM! Went there last night. The gentleman that waited on me was rude and a bit condescending. And saw it to others especially with a family of 4 +1. We did not leave a tip on the card but I was going to tip in cash. Food was ok but the dough was a bit undercooked. Over all the pizza was good. The personal touch, lack of eye contact and any verbal interaction is what's missing and will hurt this pizza place. I will not return. Place needed a deep clean. read more

What an absolute gem! Took a chance on this place and sooo glad we did. This will be the pizza joint from now on in Pismo. Not NY style, or Chicago or even Detroit. Just good old fashioned pizza. Ended up coming here 3 nights because it was so good. Had the combo and they do not skimp on the toppings. The family running the business was super friendly. Love this place. read more

If you're looking for their delicious garlic shrimp pizza you'll be rolling the dice. Who ever is doing their ordering can't seem to get it right. Apparently even ordering one at 11:15a isn't early enough to ensure they'll have shrimp-disappointing. Also, you may want to pick it up if you want it delivered hot(less than a mile away). read more

Ya, 4.5 stars is an accurate rating. The pizza was SO good. The crust was cooked perfectly and delicious. Tons of cheese and the pepperoni curled up and was crispy around the edges - MORE please! Ordered some garlic cheese bread and I don't know if I've ever had better. The bread was extra crispy and there was SOOO much cheese. Small spot with only a few tables for seating but I'd guess this is mostly a carry out/delivery joint based on what we saw while eating. Plenty of parking with a small lot in the back and some street parking out front as well. We're in town for another 5 days and I'm certain we'll grab more Beach Pizza before we head home! read more

The service was fine. We waited while the gentleman finished tossing dough and preparing a pizza. He did acknowledge us and said that he would be right with us. We had the special without pineapple and took advantage of the buy a gourmand get a one topping large free special. Both pizzas were delicious! My husband and I enjoyed them and I liked the crust. I would recommend Beach Pizza. We ordered takeout. The ambience was non-existent. There's tables and chairs if you wanted to eat there. Not fancy but good pizza. read more

Ordered online for delivery while staying in Grover beach. Told us an hour from when we placed order but arrived in 40 minutes. Wish it would've taken an hour maybe they could've cooked the pizza. The dough was soggy and undercooked. The sausage had a weird taste to it. The garlic bread was way undercooked and lacked flavor. I have no idea if we hit it on a bad night or people don't know what good pizza is with all of these positive reviews. Won't eat here again. read more

Every Monday I take a girl I babysit for to pizza for dinner. We decided to try a new place. Went to the counter and the guy said they don't do half and half pizzas and I was like okay. Odd So then I just placed a small order and when I was about to give my cc, he said his router is down and takes only cash. It would have been nice to know before we started the process of ordering. I ordered this pizza for delivery online. The first issue was with ordering from their website. My friend and I both tried using our credit cards and neither worked for payment. I ended up paying with cash. The pizza was ok. The crust was thin and a little soggy. The sauce was pretty flavorless and the toppings kept sliding off. Overall the pizza didn't taste like much. I also ordered a Caesar salad, but there was no option for a Caesar salad dressing. I wouldn't go back to try this place again. read more

We've been coming to Beach Pizza for our pizza and their pizza always tastes delicious. Our issue with them is the inconsistency in toppings. We get the carry out 3 topping special and they are so stingy on the toppings! It seems like it depends on who's working whether we get a decent pizza or not. There is literally 1 piece of each topping per slice. They raised their prices a while back so it's not like it's $9.99 like it used to be. It costs like 16.99. Even when we get double pepperoni, there's still not a lot of pepperoni. You shouldn't offer a special if you're going to cut back on the toppings. Please put 3 toppings worth on it or don't offer it. We actually enjoy the pizza but if we keep getting bad pizzas, we will start going elsewhere. read more

My family and I decided to try this spot based on its #1 rating for 2023. It's a small little spot on a busy street. There was no problem finding parking because it wasn't busy on this late Sunday evening. But there is more parking available behind the restaurant. We ordered a small specialty pizza and a small pepperoni pizza and it came out to about $42. It's A little on the higher end for pizza. My girls did love their pizza, I even tasted it and it was yummy. The bread was good and cooked nicely and it wasn't gooey. We ordered inside the restaurant and we waiting only about 15 min. Oh and service was friendly. No complaints there. If we are in the area again and we want pizza we will visit again forsure. read more
