I'm honestly so sad about my nails. I should've known that the salon being empty when I went was the first bad sign that I shouldn't have gone here. I got my nails done last Friday (only 3 days ago) and as you can see in the videos and pictures, my chrome is already coming off. There's also little bumps on my nails. An older lady did my nails and I felt like she didn't know what she was doing. She wasn't even keeping track of the time I cured my nails. I paid $53 and tipped generously still because I felt bad. I've honestly never had a bad nail experience so this was just a bummer. I'll be going to get my nails redone sometime this week, but I will never go back here again and I encourage everyone to do the same ):

Been going to Ken for so many years and I've never been disappointed in my nails. Month after month I can never pick which nails are my favorite because he does an amazing job each time. All I do is show him a picture of what I want and he works he magic and makes my nails look amazing each and every time. I'm consistently getting compliments on every new nail design and I'm always send people to Ken because I want them to enjoy their nails as much as I do. I even got my best friend to start going to him every month also I wish I could give more than 5 stars because they very much deserve it.

Best nails I've ever gotten is through pixie nails. With the holiday season coming up, I thought l'd share what my favorite artist there does:) his name is Ken! He can do any design you show him and he TAKES HIS TIME. The best experience I've had and I'm picky! Haha

Update!!! Had an appointment today at 10:30. I worked til 10, and rushed to get there. When I arrived, Ken wasn't there. I asked a woman when he would be there and she said 15 or 20 minutes, you sit down. I waited 15 minutes. I finally got up and told the woman to tell him that I wouldn't be back. She said, "okay". Ive waited many times for Ken, usually when I had a 9:00 appointment, but I usually just blew it off. Not today! They have no respect for your time, and certainly you'll never receive an apology. I might also mention that I always tipped at least 25%. I won't be back, and will never recommend them.

I read the amazing reviews, saw the photos and booked an appt. I've never had nails gone so horribly wrong. The older lady seemed to have an attitude with me when I pointing out the odd looking shape of the nails (I was very nice with my tone and words, so that she didn't dub me as 'a picky client' to no avail). She'd reply with "We file it" so I trusted the process. I asked for short almond nails. Not round and a little pointy. Went with hard gel overlay instead of acrylic. I noticed the nails looking very concave and again, she said "We file it". She pretty much filed all of the hard gel off. They're very concave. You can see where it's down to the plastic nail tips on the corners of the nails. On my right hand, each nail is a different shape with slanting. The polish looks globbed and my nails are paper thin. I came home, found another place and am leaving soon to have them fix this mess. I paid. I tipped more than 20%. I'm too nice. I just wanted to get out of there. Ugh. If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. Don't go here.

Absolute worse nail experience ever in 30 plus getting my nails done The technician clearly did NOT want to be there. I realize good work is hard to find these days but running my own business I would rather work short staff And be on the floor myself than have someone work for me with the poorest customer service this woman provided Grabbing pulling cutting and causing unnecessary pain was beyond unbelievable. I left without even getting them painted. Enough was Enough. She removed nails and didn't put tips to replace the ones she removed. I paid for the service And spoke to the "so called" manager when I left and left WITHOUT tipping Which is not typical. I'm hopeful with the amount of positive reviews this salon has the other technicians are not like the one I had. And I'm more hopeful No one suffers the way I did if they get This woman

They always achieve what I request, I asked for this beautiful design and it was executed in strides, absolute precision and accuracy. Love yall! Love the music and their professionalism and to top it off they are amazing artists!

I've come here 3 times since April 2022. First time I came in April was day before my wedding. They were great! The acrylic nails, pedicure, and face waxing was absolutely perfect. I regret not writing down the name of the technician who helped me. I returned a second time in May and the service was okay. I got a fill and pedicure. Pedicure was great but the fill was okay. Had some mistakes. Today, (June 9th), I returned for a an acrylic nail fill, pedicure, and eyebrow wax. The eyebrow wax was perfect and I was very happy with the pedicure. But the fill is substandard. ‍ definitely more mistakes than last time. I know I'll be returning at the end of June for another set before I go on vacation, but, I definitely need to ask for names and make specific appointments with technicians because the quality of service is not standard across. If next time doesn't go well, I'll just find another location. Also, mainly posting for others to be aware. This place has potential, but not all technicians have a keen eye for mistakes.

I feel as though I left worse than what I came in with. Today was my first time back in over a year and I went because I knew they almost always have availability. I needed gel removal and a REGULAR manicure. My lady was so rough with cuticles and cleaning out from under my nails. There was no one in the salon and she was still rushing the process. I was scared when she sprayed alcohol on my nails worried that I would have a cut. Luckily I didn't.... Until after she went back and cut more my cuticle ending in me bleeding..... she didn't say sorry or try to fix it, she was just hoping I wouldn't notice. Then was Time to put on the polish, she was prepping for gel when I already said Regular manicure. She acted like she didn't know. Not like we talked and she got carried away. Anyways, I'm more upset with how rough she was with my fingers because that hurt not to mention she butchered my cuticles! I tipped her $2 for the whole service ($25+$2tip) and was annoyed with that. A star for taking me in as a walk in.... I guess..

He's not a "no" guy, he is the "yes" guy; and every person who wants designed nails should have him in their life. Tell him what you want and he goes out with a bang! Plus their prices are great

This place is amazing!!!! I made an appointment to get my nails filled and a gel manicure with some nail art ($51 total) and the service was amazing! They did a fantastic job removing my old gel polish, making sure it was even, and the lady took her time filling in and shaping the nail after. The polish application was also great. 10/10 experience overall and I will totally come back!!!! read more

My acrylics were uneven on each hand and thin. The paint job was okay, but the acrylics were not great quality. They seemed in a rush to get me out. The pedicure I got was much better. I believe the prices are way too high here, I have a place that does better for much less. read more

I've searched for years for a nail artist who could do exactly what I wanted. I love complex hand painted designs with lots of variety/different designs on each nail. Let me tell you, Ken is THE guy to go to for this. I've never been happier with my nails, ever. He spends so much time getting them the exact perfect shape and his artwork is amazing. I have now gotten my nails done here 3 times, the first time I would have rated it 4-5 stars, but I wanted to try out this nail salon a few times before making a review. I'm glad I did. Each time I've come to this business it seems my experience has gotten worse with each visit. The first time I came here I loved the way my nails turned out, they followed my design very well and took their time and did a pretty good job. The second time I was here for a refill on acrylics I was told that the design that I wanted was "not pretty" (it was for a Halloween costume which I has mentioned) - BUT, she said this after working on my nails for 45 minutes and she waited until the very last second to tell me that she didn't want to do this design and rushed me into changing my design at the last second, so I left with the nails I didn't want and didn't come in for. I was pretty disappointed, but at least they still looked nice. Now even though this happened I wanted to try out the salon one more time, so this week I went in for another refill. The woman doing my nails was very nice, but she completely rushed the entire job and my nails looked horrendous at the end. I will insert pictures that do not even do justice to help poorly she did this set. My edges are super rough and rugged, She left plenty of places where the old color from the last set is showing and my nails are very lumpy and uneven. The design I chose just requires a simple gold line going down the middle of the nail, and this woman did the most uneven, crooked and sideways lines that just look like a child did it. I even tried nicely mentioning to her that the lines looked a little crooked, but she blew it off and told me to put my hand under the UV lamp. So basically, you might get very nice nails at this place or a bad set if they are feeling particularly sloppy that day. I wouldn't have left this review but I was just so upset with the way my nails turned out that I'm going to another salon to get them fixed tomorrow because I can't even keep these on anymore, I feel stupid with them on. I hate giving this review because they've always done super well getting me in with scheduling which is super nice, but when I have to go to another place to get my nails redone because of how poorly my set was from here...I don't think I'll be back again. read more

A little less than okay. My nails are unevenly painted, paint in the cuticles and when asked if she could remove the paint in the cuticle seemed to be annoyed, bubbles in the polish, misshaped nails and just not happy. I came in with better painted polish done at home. I voiced my concern while in store but seem to be brushed off. Not happy with today's service. If you're looking for a gel manicure I suggest trying somewhere else. I should have looked at the reviews before going. read more

Can't complain about the nail service, as my NAILS were never done. Made an appointment the day before my scheduled appointment, .got there 10mins early sat there until 12:15 because they took a walk in before my SCHEDULED appointment...poor customer service a young man kept telling me to just wait..negative ..it's a shame I'm a good customer and tipper. You know a bad shop when you value how many bottoms you can have in a seat for $$$'s to customer servic and a first impression. .. Go somewhere else.. read more

I am thrilled to come across Pixie! I try to pamper my feet once a month. OMG! Pixie staff is amazing and thorough as they take off weeks of soreness and rough skin. They can make it feel like baby feet soft and smooth. This store is so CLEAN and beautiful. As a guy, it can be awkward for me going into a salon. Kenny and his staff made me feel comfortable from the start. Pixie is very reasonable as compared to most other stores raising their $$ prices. They are professional, very courteous and efficient to get a high tip from me. It's hard to find a store with good services and good cost these days and so happy now!! read more

So I used to be a nail bitter until I started getting my nails done here by Ken!! he always takes his time and really gives you the best nails. I work where I am constantly using multiple cleaning chemicals all the time , and they still will last me a month. Not only last forever he does Amazing nail art ! I sought out for a day to relax and do me things, coming to Pixie Nail Salon I was a walk-in and still, their service was phenomenal! I came in with an idea and they made it happen no questions asked! Upon getting my acrylic/gel mani and pedi they made my nails look stunning! I'm quite particular and like things a certain way. Loved my experience here! Got a fill and gel which turned out very nice. My 3 year old daughter got her nails painted by Sophia. They turned out so adorable she did 2 pretty flowers and 2 smilies. I love this place! Every nail technician I have been with has been wonderful. I've gotten acrylic full set, acrylic fill, gel nail polish (manicure and pedicure) and never once had a problem. I had read a lot of good reviews from this place so I gave it a chance and was not too happy with my outcome. I went in for a pedicure and full set acrylic, and thought my toes came out great I cannot say the same for my hands. I understand that perfection is unrealistic, but the form of my left hands middle and pinky fingers are terrible. I asked for a simple coffin shape and I was going to get a design too but when i seen how the shape came out I figured I would just save my money. The total of the (gel) pedicure + full set acrylic (w/gel) was $91!! I can find at-home nail techs with less experience and come out with nicer nails for half the price. No need to say that I will not be returning. read more

This was unfortunately a terrible experience. I wasn't even going to leave a review because I genuinely don't like doing this, but my hands are in so much pain just trying to do laundry. All I asked for was for them to take my nails off. I didn't expect that they would not soak them off and just try to get them off with another fake nail, or just rip them off completely. I understand my acrylics were thick, but trying to blame me for my nails being thin was just not okay either. I had this set on for 3+ weeks, there is no way this is my fault. My nails weren't thin until they were ripped off completely by two people who were literally talking shit and laughing about my nails the whole time. I'm so glad you both found it amusing that you literally took two people to get my nails off, still couldn't do it right and made me bleed. Every single one of my nails hurts right now. You should have offered me the "service" for free, but you still asked me to pay even though you ripped my skin off of multiple nails. Thanks so much for the terrible experience AND for trying to tell me it's because my nails are thin, they genuinely weren't until you ripped all of them off. read more

I wish I had more hands so I could give this place 5 thumbs down and not get a manicure. Fuck this place. They made a huge deal about needing an appointment we showed up for the 10 am appointment at 9:50 no one greeted us no one said anything until at 10 we said we're here for our appointment Then we waited another 20 minutes with no engagement then when we got up and left. They had the Gaul to say oh we ready for you in 2 minutes. They are pricey and stupid Fuck pixie nail!!! read more

I had my first appointment with Sophia !! She is a doll .. first one she so sweet also prior the appointment she make sure to send you pictures of her job !! Than she text you couple times before the appointment to remind you about it !! Than the day of the appointment she welcome you and you will decide with her what kind of style you want !! She super fast only 1 hour and she is so accurate and her eyelashes are place just perfect. I don't feel them at all and are super comfortable. She uses the acrylic one which I think are the best one to hold the curl shape on time. The glue is a organic one and didn't react with my eyes !! Over all I had a perfect experience I love Sophia and I will go back for my refill in 3 weeks !! Price for a full volume set was incredible !! Thank you Sophia I recommend her 100 times. read more

They did an amazing job. My daughter (3) and I were in the neighborhood and wanted to treat ourselves. They treated her so well, so kind and accommodating to her tiny little legs that couldn't reach. A bit pricey, but absolutely love them! 45 for a fill. My nails are very consistent and flawless in shape. I had to go in to get a nail fixed from the old place i went to, and they charged me three bucks! So nice i tipped like ten bucks very friendly and do a great job read more

Got my nails done here last week and they look absolutely GORGEOUS. I don't know the name of the man that did my nails because I forgot to ask, but he spent around 2 hours doing them. I was in a bit of a hurry, but I'm definitely not complaining after seeing the way they looked!! The most beautiful set of acrylic nails I've ever had done, and the highest quality. If you're thinking about coming here to get a set, DO IT!!! This is going to be my new nail place for sure. read more

I typically don't leave reviews, but I truly did not enjoy my experience here. For starters, the person doing my nails had earbuds in the whole time and was quite distracted. While doing my nails, he nicked my skin, resulting in a painful cut that took over a week to fully heal. I showed him the design I wanted before starting, and he said he felt confident and able to do it- it came out not looking good at all. Not only was the design not clean, many of the nails weren't cut evenly and were slightly different lengths/shapes. In their defense, I did not make the appointment for a manicure with nail art, so it's possible they were unprepared for my request. However, to me, if I am getting my nails done professionally I would at least expect them all to look uniform and even, which was definitely not the case at Pixie. And when asked, I would have much preferred my technician be honest and have me pick a more simple design instead of promising something and falling short. I've been getting my nails done professionally for over ten years, with over 95% of visits to California nail salons, and this is the first salon I can say with certainty that I will not be returning to and will absolutely never recommend to anyone. Giving them 2 stars instead of 1 because I did have nail polish on my nails, at least ‍¯\_(ツ)_/¯ read more

Wish I could give a rating based on quality but sadly I couldn't even get my nails done! My friend and I came in as walk ins around 11 and asked how long would be the wait for 2 fills. The guy told us to come back in one hour/ around 12. No problem, we went to get a coffee and some breakfast in the meanwhile and came back right at 12. When we came in he told us that he gave our spot away because we left without putting a name down! He never told us we had to put a name down when we came in, he just told us to come back. This misunderstanding wouldn't have been so bad if he didn't have such a bad attitude about it. He didn't even come up to the counter to check us in or even attempt to get our names but rather was yelling across the store. Very unprofessional. If you want good nail place with wonderful customer service go to Forever Nails instead, just 8 minutes away and much better service. read more

I commented on how great a gals nails looked. She said she had them done 2 weeks prior by "Ken" at Pixie Nails. I've been going to Ken for over a year and I've never been disappointed.
