Concessions and snacks are pretty pricy here, they do allow food and drinks throughout most parts of the aquarium, just not around the touch tank and the open water part of the beluga and dolphin exhibit. Save some money and pack your own snacks and drinks as most areas are open to food and drink. It's a very stroller friendly aquarium, but waiting for the elevators to the wild reef exhibit can have about a 10-15 minute wait time. There are stairs down to the exhibit tucked away, but if you do have younger children be prepared with some entertainment while waiting for that elevator ride down, or have them take the stairs while one of you waits for the elevator. The lower parts has the play area meant for kids, so it's a good stop towards the end of your visit to tire your kids out. The elevators up don't have too much of a wait going back up If you are going to go in a larger group, purchase your tickets ahead of time to secure a time slot for the aquarium. It overall is a fun interactive aquarium that has a lot of play and learn areas for kids to explore and a lot of touch tanks for kids who are looking for a fun experience for the family. I would recommend going earlier in the day if you want to avoid crowds, but the highlight of this museum is definitely their dolphins and beluga whales.

I did not see any dolphins doing anything - other than the usual swimming. The trainer was just talking about them. The layout can be very confusing. Elevators and stairs only go between certain floors or part of a floor and not very well marked. They do have a really nice gift shop but after spending all that money just to get in, no thanks. You can take replays of rounds, especially if you want to capture fun moments! 3. The private room has its own bathroom! 4. Self service and pay by QR code drinks and snacks. I like how serious they are about security. You cannot enter without a reservation. The space itself consists of 3 ping pong tables and they have a private room that you can use as well for parties and lessons and such. There is a LCD screen to keep score as well as give a tutorial on how to play. The best part are the replays! We enjoyed seeing those when we "thought" we had a good game :). There is one bathroom and it is kept pretty clean: They have a cooler with water,Gatorade and Red Bull so snack before you come. With a group of 3 people each course ended up taking about 30 minutes. Some of the courses were kinda hard and we ended up just skipping after 6 tries since that's the max score. There were times when the screen glitched out or when the previous people at the course left their scorecard and it needed to be cleared. It wasn't that big of deal but one of us did have to get an employee from the dining area when this happened (at the ski lodge course). The software is pretty cool, you use the tablet at each station and once you finish inputting your score, your group's scorecard will automatically pop up at the next location. Perfect fun especially when you go at a time that's not too busy. We went on Mother's Day evening so maybe that's not a popular activity for mother's. About an hour in, one of the staff instructors came around to help with that but it was brief and I feel like we still didn't quite know the very basics, like which club to use, how to hold it, how to swing properly. Eventually another girl joined our session and she had a ton of pointers and got us back to basics, which made it enjoyable! I didn't end up ordering food but it looked good. The servers checked on us a bunch at first which makes sense. There was a little pressure to join their subscription for $5 the first month, but to be expected for a free experience. The staff was very kind! I just wish we had a little more guidance as first-timers, especially with the nature of this promo.

I enjoyed the nice landscaping and found this was a great way to pass an hour. When I was there, I saw a grandmother playing a round with her grandson and a young family following behind them. The price for a Wheaton resident is $5 for adults and $4 for children (15 years old or younger) and senior citizens. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my morning. This is very well hidden next to the train track so it is easy to miss if you aren't looking for it. There is also a skate park right next door that I did not try out because I would probably break a bone.
