Came here with my girls after a wonderful Valentine's Day lunch. We got our tickets from Groupon…read moreand paid $18.75 per ticket. This is the Streeterville location. Upon arrival we showed the nice guy at the register our tickets and we got a red game play card with 100 credits on it. Unfortunately, I don't think I even used all of my credits. So many machines were out of order, I would say a good 30% of their inventory was not working. So the games got a little repetitive. There was one machine that had no out of order service sticker, so we tried to use it and it didn't work. It just stole our credits. It was the machine where you hit the ball to test your strength. My friends and I got pretty bored with the games and went to their restaurant. We just shared an order of wings and my friend got funnel cake fries that came with ice cream and an assortment of other toppings. The food was okay- it was what you would expect arcade food to taste like. Our waiter was very kind, but service was really slow. We had to flag someone down to take our order after we initially sat down and waited for about 20 minutes. I probably wouldn't come back here, if I want a mediocre arcade experience I'll just stick with Dave and Busters!

Of course we took our kids along because they would be the ones who could take full advantage of the facilities. The park itself was quite large, but we went for the kids playground. Signs were clearly marked for direction so we got to our destination with no difficulties. Our boys definitely enjoyed the suspension bridge, though my younger one was hesitant to go on first. I did see some older kids who were climbing "outside of the bridge infrastructure. There was a note to remind anyone not to do so. Oh well, it is what it is. Even if some accidentally fell when doing risky tricks, the soft padded ground would reduce the impact. On the other hand, there was one section of playground exclusively for children older than 5 years old. The slide seemed to be more advanced for young toddlers for sure. Therefore, we performed our sightseeing duty and walked away since our munchkins were 2.5 and 4.5 years old. Our older one enjoyed the straight slides. I liked that fact there were multiple slides with various speeds so that kids would not get bored on staying on the same one. Normally I wouldn't recommend anyone to drive to downtown but we did this time. My partner was able to secure a spot via SpotHero at the Harris Theater for a reasonable price. I got there much later than our scheduled arrival time yet he was able to extend for another 30 minutes in the app. Overall, we highly recommend parents to visit "Maggie Daley Park" and let the kids release some energy. We probably will be back again to poke around other areas when spring and summer in Chicago are in full bloom.

It's a bit of a walk in, and the path from the southwest corner of the park at Columbus & Monroe is longer but less-steep than the winding path uphill from the southeast corner at Lakeshore & Monroe. You get some lovely views of downtown Chicago. We continued past the (seasonal, of course) ice-skating ribbon, because we were not prepared to skate. There are several play areas of swings, slides, and climbing structures, some intended for (and with signs to indicate) specific age ranges. The giant slides and towers, and the ship-shaped climber, were very popular. Busy, but not over-crowded. It was quite entertaining, and we played there over 1.5 hours!

When I was there, it felt just like being at a ski lodge. They also have an awesome rooftop with seating and a great view of the city. The drinks were tasty and made well and very strong. We had several drinks before attempting to golf! We also had burgers, wings, and fries, and everything was very flavorful. The golf course was cute, and we had a lot of fun. There's a leaderboard that shows the highest scores. It was crowded and we had to wait in line for the next obstacle, so patience is a must. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely return to play more miniature golf and enjoy some more drinks.

The food was also great; we had the wings and they were very delicious. Shoutout to Manny, who provided excellent service and was attentive to our table. We did have a small issue with table availability and staff communication, which was frustrating enough that I considered calling a manager. Because of this, I'm giving 3 stars. Otherwise, the drinks, food, and ambiance were excellent.

Also make sure that you secure your belongings because my daughter's phone pop out of her pocket then hit the floor of the vehicle and then bounced out onto the ground Next we did the ax throw which we're only supposed to get 2,3 throws but the young lady let us continue until we hit the target because we were the only customers over there so she let us get multiple turns which was really cool Lastly was the Mini golf they don't give you a pencil or a piece of paper or to keep score is really freestyle freestyling and people are walking around the course and kinda in the way so don't think of it as a complete game from start to finish you might have to alter courses But I think my favorite part was the Instagram worthy props and photo ops located all around the property to take some really awesome shots group shots in my daughter and I really got some nice photos together

When buying tickets online, you have to select a time slot, but that feature is completely useless. You can arrive whenever on your ticketed date and stay as long as you'd like. The problem is that on busy nights you face extremely long lines for the attractions and the park is over crowded- especially during COVID! There was no capacity limit set, no one (staff especially) was wearing masks, even though we were outside, social distancing wasn't enforced, and the props (axe, golf clubs and balls, go kart machines) weren't cleaned after each guest. Every attraction we headed to there was a long line, at least a 30 minute wait-- go karts have the longest line. Overall, Neon Summer is a nice concept, but they need better time management and crowd control because it was not enjoyable to wait 30+ minutes in every line, including the bars. If I were to go back it would be on a weekday or in the afternoon. The park is open to kids and adults, and kids can do all of the activities except axe throwing. On the website it states closed toe shoes must be worn, but that wasn't enforced. Staff was friendly and easy to talk to.
