In their defense, everyone is trying to figure out the world post Covid (not that we are completely post Covid but we're getting there) so I'll keep supporting them while they figure it out. I did see a review commenting on the pricey drinks. That is absolutely correct. For downtown Pittston, the drinks are quite expensive. I'd expect this in center city Philadelphia but not in Pittston. It's still absolutely worth patronizing. The outside deck is great.

Servers knew it and it showed, our food came in spurts some of us were done eating before the others even got their food, no apologies no information as to why that was, I ordered the bruschetta as an appetizer, it was fine nothing great. Order the Caesar salad with chicken for dinner $16. salad was on a dinner plate, instead of freshly shaved parm it was the kind you buy at the grocery store to sprinkle on your pasta, croutons were also the small square ones you get in a bag. Lettuce had a lot of brown edges to it. Chicken was ok,lacked any real flavor. Hubby got a flatbread said it was ok. My drink was really good, however it was Downeast Mango Cider so they didn't make it. First time here and probably the last. So disappointing.

The fries were fine and while the cod itself tasted fine, they were rather small and the cole slaw may as well have not been there as it was as bland and lifeless as Stetson's offense against UConn. While my food option wasn't stellar, the pizza and wing bites looked and smelled otherworldly and they seemed more than happy with them. Other food items ordered including breaded buffalo shrimp, a Jack Daniels BBQ burger, and a porketta sandwich. I'll have to amend my food selection upon my next visit. The overall vibe inside was good and there were plenty of TVs to keep up with the basketball games and they updated to the right channels. The decor is very Penn State heavy so if you're not a fan of the Nittany Lions like myself, it can seem a bit much. Honestly, Red Mill's service is what gets it the fourth star. Friendly and prompt with refilling drinks and taking away glasses and empty plates. The bartender, whose name unfortunately I didn't catch, went to the tap that's situated for the outside seating to get me a specific beer I asked for and he didn't charge me for the 2 cokes that I ordered. I will definitely be back.

The rooftop has stunning views and is beautifully designed with outdoor seating of both Main Street in Pittston, overlooking the murals and the river. The rooftop is also retractable. We usually walk in early evening to head to the bar although reservations are recommended. The drinks are honestly the best drinks I've had anywhere! I've had a pomegranate martini and my favorite this year, guava martini! The drinks are strong and perfectly balanced and flavorful! I haven't had the food but I would highly recommend if you're looking to be transcended from the typical offerings of the area to a more sophisticated venue with great view! The weekly events and brunch I see shared to social media also sounds like they'd be fun!

Our waitress came to take our drink order and we got the peach sangria for 2 which uniquely came in a French press. We ordered calamari and oysters as an appetizer. Then the hot sausage cavatelli and sea bass which were both phenomenal. They also give you a restaurant passport to visit all of their restaurants for a $100 gift card along with $2 off a drink at the speakeasy. Only reason I didn't give it a 4 was that service was extremely slow. Our waitress seemed to have disappeared and by the end of the night someone completely new was just there assisting.
