A little bigger than I prefer (Kelly's are the perfect size for me), but not jumbo size. Sauce and crispiness on point. Still love this place, but we'll sample another of my old wing haunts the next few times we are in town before returning here. Too many good places to pass or just go to our favorite spot. Everything was good, though the order of pierogies was small for the price, we all enjoyed them. For our entrees, we ordered the Corned Beef w/ chips, 2 - Chicken Mango Habanero sandwiches, one with regular fries and one with sweet potato fries, Sriracha Glaze wings, and a Turkey Club w/ fries. The Corned beef sandwich was bland and didn't have a lot of flavor and the coleslaw was very watery so the sandwich was soggy in the middle. The homemade chips were very good though. The Club sandwich had a thick layer of onion that killed the taste of the rest of the sandwich, even after it was taken off. The Chicken Mango Habanero sandwiches came out and the chicken was black and burned to a crisp!! I took the worst of the two up to the counter to have it remade and was informed that they looked like that because of the oil they were using, and if they remade it, it would still look like that, so I asked for it to be taken off the bill. Overall, the atmosphere was good,and they have a nice bar, but there was a very strong "sewage" smell in the women's bathroom and they put air fresheners in the floor drain where the smell was coming from, and the food was not great. With our drinks (we were there for a couple hours and there were 6 of us) and food, our bill was over $200. We might go back for drinks since it's close to home, but will not be ordering food again. Jojo left and new owners are taking us back in a time to the original Donkey. Open merely a week and a limited menu, but I was only coming here for wings anyway. Got 10 mild and garlic parm boneless bites. The mild sauce would be considered hot anywhere else. Super tasty. Garlic parm was not overpowering and quite perfectly balanced. Highly recommend both. We also tried the chicken empanadas and they were super tasty along with the two dipping sauces. So glad this off the beaten path restaurant and bar has reopened. Can't wait to come back. I did come back 8/5 and had another amazing time on bite night. Delicious!
