During my time under his management leadership, i have been harassed on multiple occasions, and my comission sales given to other employees, on sales with my own cilents. while i was working there, i reported all my complaints, to the owner aswell to the store manager, named "maltese" and all unprofessional acts that were done. i was called out of my name, hit and threaten and even the owner said nothing to ease the torment, i felt uncomfortable with my time working there, working around a coworkers, that were obnoxious and disrespectful with no courtesy towards customers, animals, products or to the so called family friendly franchised company. i witnessed other employees speak about the same issues i was having, through out the store and heard worse incidents from all departments. As much as i hated to leave this place, among all the amazing customers, i met in a year of employment at petland, i can confidently say this place hasnt been in a great state as i heard it used to be, it definitely has gone downhill, and will continue too, if things are not implemented properly. Rules in a general corporate/ or noncorporate business were not being followed. as instructed I feel bad to whom ever buys a dog or animal from this place under this current ownership, or the families who witnessed any heinous acts. its fun to play with puppies just not one who are sick and getting sold for 5,000- 8,000 per puppy Get your moneys worth, dont listen to the lies from stores like petland, private breeders are the easest route to take for a new companion, and less of cost. But dont take my word, do your research

Their prices are vastly different from their online prices. Luckily, they price match, but you shouldn't have to do a bunch of research to not get ripped off. We go there because sometimes we have to, but I am officially done. Today's anecdote: I went in for a cone for my cat who is destroying his poor eye. I have someone sitting with him at home so I can get this cone and get back to work. After searching the store I find one section with a terribly limited selection. Awful hard things for an average of $40. I check online and of course, they are $14.99 there. What? The only one that they have in his size is scuffed up on the clear plastic part, and looks like it has been used, but here I am, having an emergency, or I need some thing fast. I wait in line and when I get to the counter, the girl kindly tells me they can only take cash right now. Please, tell me, you're joking, I think. Who is running this place? This is something I should've known upon entering the store. A sign on the door? At this point, I am beyond frustrated and almost in tears, when the cashier points outside and says "I think there's an atm over there somewhere?" This is unacceptable on so many levels. I was already settling for a lackluster product at inflated in-store prices... and you can't even take my credit card. It's 2023. Shame on you, Petco. I do hope someone looks into your practices and cleans things up there.

I had specific questions about cat food and the first person I asked didn't know the answers, so instead of just brushing me off, they found an associate who was knowledgeable in the area. The second associate was able to answer my questions and wasn't pushy about selling me something I didn't need. On another visit, my animal loving daughter had a ton of questions about the various animals there and instead of brushing her off, the associates were enthusiastic and helpful to her. There were more cat items than I anticipated them having and prices were very reasonable. Aside from all the pet merchandise, they also host events and classes and owners often bring their pets with them to the store. Check out is efficient and well staffed. Overall, a great place to shop for all your pet care needs.

I've been getting him groomed a long time. I know what a freshly groomed face looks and smells like. Photos 1&2 show Petsmart 6/1/25. Third photo shows groomed in the past by another place. I expressed to the manager I was not happy with his face. He said grooming was not his expertise, therefore we went to speak with Suzy. She was condescending, as if I don't know that tear stains can't be removed easily, and as though that were the problem. He looked and smelled as if nothing was done to his face. Worst money I spent on a groom. Don't use them for the manager's response and a groomer that looks as if she hates her job and the customers. Bye Suzy H.! Update...customer service is just as bad. They promise to get back to you in 48 hours and never did. I guess that's why the groomers and managers are as bad as they are. I will spend my money else where. Sorry my dog had to endure this. Don't do this to yours.

Earlier that same day, our regular veterinarian performed bloodwork and testing and informed us that he tested positive for anaplasmosis, a tick-borne bacterial infection. We were told doxycycline would be called into our pharmacy. It wasn't. After giving Chaos the medication prescribed by our veterinarian, (novox )his condition worsened to the point that he could not stand. We took him to AVETS for emergency care. ( It says if they suddenly collapse after taking the pain meds to seek immediate help online.) We waited approximately 15 minutes for assistance getting him out of the vehicle, despite explaining that he could not walk. My husband and I ultimately had to physically support our 120-pound dog into the hospital ourselves. After we were taken to a room, I provided AVETS with the positive test results from earlier that day and specifically asked that Chaos be examined in the room because he could not safely walk. He was nevertheless taken away for an extended period of time. I felt as if he were being held hostage as I asked several times WHERE IS MY DOG. When the doctor finally spoke with us, we were presented with numerous possible diagnoses and recommendations for additional testing, including an MRI. What was most frustrating was that the doctor would not accept or act upon the positive test results from our veterinarian earlier that same day. We were told, essentially, that the results on my phone could have come from anywhere. That I could of made the results up myself. We are seeking antibiotics, not NARCOTICS. I asked that AVETS contact our veterinarian and/or pharmacy regarding the missed doxycycline prescription. Instead, they refused to prescribe it and recommended steroids while pursuing additional diagnostics. Steroids lower immunity, when he was already compromised with anaplasmosis. NOT a smart decision and I did not give them to him. We had already spent approximately $500 that same day on veterinary testing and were now watching our dog deteriorate. I understand that emergency veterinarians must consider multiple possibilities, and I understand that additional testing may sometimes be necessary. What I cannot understand is why there was so little communication or coordination with the veterinarian who had examined our dog only hours earlier and performed the testing. When I said just give me the bill so I can pay it and go somewhere else, they said at first " you didnt even see the doctor yet " I SAID YES I DID. They went in back and came back out and said " shes with another patient now and you have to wait until she is done to tally up your bill " So we waited another half hour outside in my car with my poor dog laying in the back seat until they finally came out and took payment. We ultimately left and sought care elsewhere. This experience left us feeling dismissed, frustrated, and extremely concerned for our dog's well-being. When you bring a critically ill pet to an emergency hospital, you expect urgency, communication, compassion, and collaboration. Based on our experience, we will not be returning to AVETS, and I would encourage other pet owners to carefully consider their options before choosing this facility. I wouldnt even give it 1 star if it was possible
