After 30 years of waiting, it has finally arrived in downtown Boston! Authentic , reasonably priced Lebanese cuisine that's freshly prepared on the spot and most importantly delivers with great taste. I ordered the Kafta plate which was charbroiled, tender and seasoned just right . My sides included fresh, flavorful tabbouleh, rice pilaf and an outstanding rendition of baba ghanouj. I will most assuredly be back soon to try the schawarma and the hummus. read more

When this place is located just next door to House of Kebab. When they just opened I thought that they are suicidal. But nothing can beat a good Lebanese cuisine. And from my experience this is one of the best in MA. People stay in line for 15 min to get lunch from here. In Financial district where every trade opportunity counts - it means a lot! This place rocks because everything is fresh and delicious and they have the right amount of spices to make it real authentic ! The owners are super friendly people, that serve the food the same way as they would at home: clean, fresh, flavorful, nice portions. Awful all around. Had the lamb kebab plate, the lamb was dry and tough, the salad had way too much lemon on it and the hummus was Meh. My buddy had the chicken shawarma and thought it was dry and tough too. This place is a bad rip off of Roti. Personally I've grown tired of the chain type assembly line lunch places. Next time, try marinating your chicken/lamb before you overcook it. read more

Great go-to spot for quick, affordable lunch in the financial district. I honestly go here 3 or 4 times a week and switch it up between the salads and plates. Hummus is delicious and chicken kebobs are fresh and flavorful. Definitely worth checking out! read more

Best Lebanese food place in town hands down! for all of you that are complaining on how things should taste like, you don't know what you're talking about. Pita Thyme is far and away the best lunch destination in the financial district. Food quality is great -- always fresh, quality ingredients. The price is right -- wrap for ~$7.50, $8.50 for a salad, and under $10 for a plate. The place gets mobbed from 12:15 to 1, but they're quick, so the wait is never too bad. read more

As good as it gets when it comes to Lebanese food. It gets 5 starts from me for the following reasons... First, and most importantly, the food is delicious and made fresh each day - I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken shawarma plate with hummus, tabbouleh and rice pilaf. Each part of plate blended so well together. Second, the staff and ownership are so friendly and care about their customers. They went out of their way to ensure that I was happy with my meal. Third, the place is clean and the service is quick. Other notes: the menu prices are more than fair when you consider the quality of the food and the abundance of portions. Also, it is open at 8 a.m. and serves breakfast & coffee etc. I am looking forward to trying the omlette with lamb! I will certainly be back. read more

Their homemade soups are delicious and you can't beat the chicken Sharwarma. I usually get the platter and always have enough for lunch and a light dinner if working late. Also, their breakfast pita's are unique and really good. I find the place to be clean and refreshing, the owner and staff are attentive and customer friendly and the food is top-notch for the area. read more

DE-LI-CIOUS!! Fresh, authentic (they even have Zatar bread!), and most of all the staff is amazing and so so so nice! Quality is definitely better than Boston Kebab House next door. Pita Thyme has the best chicken kebab salad I have ever had! They aren't stingy with the ingredients and include a generous helping of fresh mozzerella and chicken. The staff is very friendly and efficient; the line moves quickly even when it is out the door. This has been my go to place for lunch shortly after their opening. read more

I just struck gold! I was craving a middle eastern roll up so I looked online and found this place 2 blocks away. Made my way over, ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich and almost went back for a second one. Absolutely delicious! And I grew up with middle eastern food so I know the difference. This is about as good as it gets. The steak kabob plate isn't cheap (over $10) but it's about 2 pounds of seriously awesome food. Quality definitely beats Susan/Joshua's. I'd recommend going before 11:45 or after 12:45 because the lunch time crowd pushes the line out the door. Great hummus, spicy potatoes, steak, rice. Taking away one star for service at breakfast - each time I've gone in for breakfast (3-4X, and not the minute they open, but well after), they act surprised and like they aren't ready for customers, and are a little annoyed we're here. Then it takes 10 minutes (no one in front of me) to make two pita roll ups. There are always several people there working hard to get ready for the day, but no one seems to want to make breakfast. However, the food is DELICIOUS, I've had the lebnah roll up and zatar roll up (add feta, cukes, tom, and olives). Have had their food many times for lunch as well, it is always great. read more
