I was craving Mediterranean food, specifically tzatziki, falafel and hummus. This place is to be desired though. The restaurant interior, atmosphere and food quality is under par. The entire place needs a renovation and clean up! The falafel does not taste authentic (I am used to authentic Mediterranean from Spain and eclectic spots along the east coast). The hummus is very garlicky is you like that. I did enjoy the fresh spinach in my bowl but some of the rice wasn't cooked (a few very hard bites). Won't be going back here for a falafel bowl for $10+. read more

This Pita was by far the best one I've ever had. I had ordered through a phone call to the location before I was to go through the drive-through and pick it up. As I was on a time limit. I live Pretty close to this location and when I got there, I had received my pita in less than three minutes. The fact that I ordered on the phone and when I got my pita it was exactly how I wanted it at a lot for a restaurant. I had faith in their service and food creations. I am giving a review strictly on service. I love Pita Pit and go quite frequently however twice now there has been a young employee (Brayden) that is completely disrespectful. The first time I had the not so pleasant meeting with him he was slamming pans around and lids on items. He did not want to serve us and was extremely rude. He even said that if he didn't want to, he didn't have to serve us. Then the next time I I stopped and he took my order through the drive up. Again, he is was rude and when I ordered the combo meal with chips and a drink, I ordered a bottle water like I normally do and he told me I couldn't do that. I said politely that I almost always order this way and have never had any issues. I even said it is fine if there is an upcharge and he continued to be rude and tell me no and that I had no idea what I was talking about. His mannerisms were atrocious and I would not recommend anyone going there when he is working. This kid needs some training in customer service! read more

I absolutely love Pita Pit, but this location is CRAP!!! I've had numerous bad experiences with this location in the past 2 years from the "manager" stealing points off my card and when I came back to confront her, she remembered my order to a T and threw the pita at me, to tonight. I reluctantly ordered delivery tonight and 20 minutes after the specified order time, I called the store to ask if there was a problem with my order or something. The "manager" (male this time) said that my delivery left 5 minutes before my delivery time. So I explained to him that here is was 6:45 now, that if the driver left at 6:10, that means my food is now at least 30 minutes from time cooked and I wanted fresh food delivered. The "manager" was very rude and acted like I was the problem. Then about 10 minutes later I called back and just requested a refund because I wasn't willing to wait another hour for food and was told there was nothing he could do until the owner was there tomorrow morning and that if he sounded rude before he was just caught off guard by what happened. When I requested to have the owner call me tomorrow to make sure my refund would actually be given, he gave me the owner's name as Jordan Cruz. Not sure if this is true because about 15 minutes after I got off the phone I received an email saying my refund was processed and the money was instantly put back into my account. Moral of the story, this location is clearly a bunch of scam artists and liars and if the owner employs people like this to run his place of business then we as consumers need to not be the victims of his irresponsible business practices so please don't eat here!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Pita Pit is kinda like Subway but with Pitas instead. I had a whole wheat pita with a Mediterranean chicken and all the toppings I wanted. It was a nice change from the usual quick sub, different ingredients and toppings to choose from. I also had a soup - this could have been better, but I wasn't expecting much really. The only positive experience was that the manager at the 41st location sincerely tried to correct the fiasco at the 10th street location. When I arrived home with my pita, I discovered it was made incorrectly and not what I had asked for. I called and spoke with the night manager, who insisted on arguing with me. I explained I had ordered only meat cheese and sauce on my pita, and it had cucumbers and NO sauce. He told me cucumbers were a recommended topping. I said I didn't order it that way, and why did I not have sauce that I ASK for on my gyro pita? After arguing for 5 minutes on the phone he said he would write my name down and the next pita would be free. Ha ha ha. I went back a week later..ordered my gyro with sauce and feta ONLY, day manager came to drive through and started grilling me about what was wrong with the first one..then said he couldn't confirm I had a free pita coming. I told him the pita was not made how I ordered it, and I had spoken to the night manager about correcting it. I was informed he was the only manager, he didn't know what I was talking about, and he would have to call the owner (who was out of town) to talk to him about it. REALLY???? He should have apologized that the night manager argued with me..He should have given me the free pita I was promised..He should have thanked me for even coming back and giving them another try. He should have acted like he cared about my experience..And since he didn't care about any of that..neither do I. Should anyone ask me about Pita Pit..I'll just tell them to go the store on 41st street. Because when I called that store and spoke to the manager about my 10th street store experience, she apologized, and suggested I come to her store for my free pita..now that's a true manager!! read more
