There's nothing much that excites me at Pita Pit.
It's pretty much exactly the same as Subway but instead of using bread rolls, they use pita pockets. It's nice to see that originality hasn't in fact died (not)
When I was in there last I had the Mozzarella Melt, which was a combination of creamy mushrooms and mozzarella risotto. It was actually pretty good, and a little different flavour wise. All of the other menu items are stock standard for these types of takeaway places. They even have cookies, a la Subway as well. You can definitely see where they got their inspiration from.
The thing that irks me most about Pita Pit is the prices however, most of the items are more than Subway offerings and smaller as well. So while it was nice to try for a change, if I had the choice I would definately go to Subway for a cheaper bite to eat. read more
