Great food! Proudly prepared fresh in their own kitchen; best steak fingers I've ever had in Montana. Portions are generous, pricing is reasonable for quality and quantity; around $17 for entree, with sides...many options. (Best Tots in town) Broasted chicken is fresh-made, juicy and delicious. Always have to take home leftovers when I get 1/3 lb burger. Reportedly hand ground and formed...and broiled to perfection. Pizza is a favorite for regulars, perfectly seasoned, with choice of white or red sauce - and great as leftovers. Decorated with local racing memorabilia, but regular sports bar ambiance; pool tables and racing video games. Great bar. In my neighborhood, so usually go for lunch. Well lit; clean and inviting. Service has been hit & miss over the years, but current two main waitresses are outstanding, attentive and professional. Features ice cream ( Wilcoxon) for dessert. Brew Pub, though do not imbibe, but have heard good reviews. Note: live in Black Eagle, MT, but for some reason, Google thinks I am from San Francisco. Hmm. read more

Very open space with a nice feel. Open seating and I waited around 5 mins to be given a menu and asked what I would like to drink. Ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with Tots. Received my food within 10 - 15 mins after ordering. Overall it was basic but hit the spot. read more

3 barely. Heard the broasted chicken was good here. It was. I saw steak fingers on the menu, an item I love. I made the mistake of ordering them. They were made with a very tough cut of beef and a less than average breading. All in all, the worst sacrifice of fingers a cow has ever made. I asked for cocktail sauce for dipping and they brought a small container of tomato sauce with a dash of horseradish. Not good. If you are using a tough cut of beef for steak fingers, tenderize it before cutting and breading. Do it right or get it off the menu to avoid further bovine embarrassment. The pleasant service, neighborhood bar atmosphere, decent broasted chicken, and 16 ounce PBRs saved the rating. read more

This place literally made me want to download Yelp just to leave a review. Service was terrible. Was given the wrong beer and there was no attempt to fix it. Asked for water and it came super late just because of the waiter getting sidetracked with conversations with friends/regulars. I just didn't feel like I was a customer. Kinda felt like I was annoying the staff. And I am a chill dude that is friendly. Wings were pretty good except I got sick afterwards. Great environment...just wish the service was better. read more

If you love roasted chicken, this is the place to go! It is always delicious. My favorite is the pork chop sandwich though. It is not the typical "frozen" patty. It is an actual breaded pork chop! Best pork chop sandwich ever! read more

Some of the worst service in Great Falls. I was standing at the bar and several people, who came in after me were served first. When i was finally waited on, I ordered an Absolut cranberry. Not one taste of vodka and the cranberry is syrup. One of the worst drinks I have ever been served. And a bottle of beer is $4. People, do not visit this establishment; you will be terribly disappointed. read more

Our waitrss did a good job and was very attentive. The brews were fresh and nice and cold. Every thing appeared to be very clean. The food however was very overpriced and sub par. Jalapeño Pop ers were basically out of the box from Sam's Club...nothing special. Had some wings too...just average. The Hawaiian Pizza is most definitely the worst pizza I have ever had in Great Falls. Absolutely no pizza flavor. I literally could not decide if there was any sauce on it or not. Most likely won't be back...we were going out on a limb going there tonight to begin with as we weren't that excited about our previous visits. 3 strikes and you are out. read more

A good place to hang out. The atmosphere is nice, tables are situated around pool tables and there are televisions EVERYWHERE with a big projector screen also. I appreciate the very open layout of the place. The beer on tap is served in mason jars. The whole place is decorated in a Nascar/racing theme. We haven't been disappointed with the food there, and there is a disclaimer about how long the broasted chicken takes to cook. In my opinion it is worth the extra time (have another beverage while you wait), BEST BROASTED CHICKEN I HAVE HAD IN THE GREAT FALLS AREA. My boyfriend and I usually split the four piece meal, we think it is the best bang for your buck. The service is good too, if I need something I just ask for it. They have games to play also. We are a fan of Big Buck Hunter but they have a race car one as well as a few others. Overall a good time and a fun place to hang out and watch the game and/or relax. read more

This is the first time we've been back home and had dinner and a few beers here. Wait staff was wonderful and quick to fix my salad without grated carrots. I had four piece broasted chicken & it was delicious. Spouse had the BBQ Brisket with onion rings & BBQ sauce, he wished the meat had been thicker slices but it was tasty. The sauce was good. Horrible slow and unprofessional service. The chicken was way too salty. I had the chicken and waffles. The strips were mostly breading and was too salty to eat. My husband had the half of chicken and again was too salty. When we mentioned to the server she nonchalantly said " oh it must be something with the cook". I won't be back wasting my money. I suppose if you were there to drink or play pool it wouldn't be too bad. It looked like the wings came with several sauces to choose from. read more

I do not know what is wrong with the other reviewers... my family has yet to have a bad meal at this establishment. I will admit to having never tried their pizza (though my son loves their little flatbread pizza, getting it each time we go). My go to orders are the brisket philly (my only complaint is that the roll they use gets a little sogged), which is piled high with seasoned brisket, peppers and onions, and swiss cheese; I also enjoy the Pit Stop Buger, the half pounder is a heck of a meal, with ham, cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce and a great beef patty. Both sandwiches are served with a mountain of tater tots. My wife enjoys the Pastie! The Pit Stop also makes the best chicken in town. Ordering the chicken does mean extra wait time, because they prepare it fresh. They warn about this on the menu, so I do not understand the reviewers who complained about the wait time. read more

Love the atmosphere at this place, but I have had some questionable food experiences. First time I was there I ordered the chicken wings and they still had feathers. I am not talking one feather or two. Some were covered in down. They waitress said they are supposed to be like that. Yuck! So the next time I had a burger and fries. Which was average. This last time we tried their pizza. The bell pepper still had a sticker on it. When we called to let them know the manager said shit happens. I guess I will stick 29th Classic 50's. read more

Came in for dinner and beer while we watched the BCCS National Championship game. Our waitress was attentive. The bar/restaurant was full, but not packed. Everything was good, except it took FOREVER for our food. If we had a time schedule, we would have left. However, the food tasted good. I passed on the second side and asked for double fries. I didn't get double fries. Besides the cook, it was pretty good. Small portions. Prices as high as any other local sports bar. read more

Three strikes your out!!! First time 8 of us sat down to eat spring of 2015. Seven of us got our meal, after we informed them they forgot one of us. It did come 30 mins later. Second time we're there summer of 2015 . Ten of us were there and just like last time only 9 of us got their meals,it finally came after we were all done eating , as for getting drinks we just walked up to the bar because we got tired of waiting for service . The third time we showed up to eat Dec 2015 over 2 hours later we finally got our food ,only 6 of us . The service is slow and manage must not exist. Homemade chips and onion rings were good, latter a bit greasy. The hamburger I got had a really nice bun, but the patty was godawful. It was tough, tasteless and only palatable because I loaded it with condiments and onion. My son, who doesn't like condiments, couldn't eat more than one bite, which he bravely choked down. If the meat were good this would actually be a great burger--huh, I guess that's what a burger is all about. Don't know where they're buying their meat, but they better change vendors. read more

I have never left a review before on Yelp. But after yesterdays experience at the Pit Stop, someone should know what goes on there. Sat there for 45 minutes before the bartender/waitress came to take my drink order. The place was not busy, it was a Sunday late afternoon with about 15 people in the whole place, and that was counting the 2 pool teams that were there. Ordered a buffalo chicken salad. Another 45 minutes later, (after sitting in the window for 15) the bartender/waitress brings it out. It has Teriyaki sauce on the chicken. I explain that I ordered a buffalo chicken salad (teriyaki chicken salad isn't even on the menu). She takes the plate back to the cook. Dave (very new) says no it is buffalo. I ask the bartender/waitress to taste it, or smell it. She says No, he says it is buffalo. The chicken was mushy, and had teriyaki sauce on it. Sets it on the table and walks away. So I paid $8.95 for some iceberg lettuce, olives and chicken I would not eat. Very disappointed! Wish the owners would do something about the service up there! read more
