Been years since we have eaten here, and the food, though filling, reminded us why it's been years between Half Time meals. My Pork Chop sandwich was food service quality (see note) and barely warm. The criss-cross fries accompanying the sandwich came to the table cold. My wife's Rueben was loaded with corned beef and got an "A-OK" by my picky Rueben critic. She thought her Tortilla Soup was a little too salty, but I thought it was very good. Great place to watch a game... the walls are covered with TV's. That, my friend, is their main appeal. They were packed with customers for lunch so they must be doing something right. My less than stellar rating may have been the result of the items we ordered from their expansive menu. Service was pleasant and prompt. Will try again in a couple of years. NOTE: When you see a perfectly round pork chop of uniform thickness, you know it is not house made but food service processed pork... yuck. read more

My brother in law invited us to lunch. The beers were ice cold & enjoyed! I ordered the Pork Chop Sandwich (memories of Original Pork Chop John [from Butte, Montana]) because I hadn't had one for a long time. It was served on a Kaiser roll and met all my expectations. Delicious fresh toppings & cooked just right! There's just something about the 'right kind of bread; that makes a sandwich! The pork chop was cooked to perfection! I ordered the potato cheese soup & enjoyed every spoonful! BIL had Taco Treat Tacos which are my favorite when home. Hubby enjoyed his Taco Treat Beef Enchilada! Love that we can get Taco Treat at this location!! When we return 'home' to Great Falls we'll come here again!! read more

Checked in for my two free tacos since I met the criteria this week. (8 visits, 2 free tacos) didn't get a text with a code bust still sat down. Told the waitress I wanted a beer and 4 tacos, but I'm waiting for the two free tacos code. When I said that, the table next to me said they didn't get their code either. The server called the manager, Robin, and Robin said "no code, no free tacos." The issue is they know the system is messed up, I told the server before ordering I was waiting for the code, and the fact there is a straight out "no" when asking the manager is really unreal. I get it's $4 per taco for a discount of $8 but don't advertise something for free when it's not working and the manager won't honor the system. I've heard Robin can be less than a good manager but I like to judge for myself. She has confirmed the rumors to be true. From now on, water only and I hope my cup stays full. I won't be giving this establishment any more of my money... sorry, not sorry! **UPDATE** I have Verizon for my carrier and if this is a know issue, why not offer to buy tacos from the start and not just say a straight out no? There are many other ways to go about this and the path that was chosen was incorrect, especially since I was not the only one that brought up this issue. We've been coming here for years and always enjoyed the food, Bingo and variety of sports. Most of the waitstaff were friendly and good at their job. But, the manager, Robin, is rude and disrespectful of the customers and the staff. Her friends are her priority!! Love this place but WILL NOT be back as long as she is working there!! read more

Been going for about a year for Thursday night bingo and recently the wait staff has gotten horribly rude to customers. As of 4 weeks ago I will never return due to the rudeness of the staff. New servers are rude and uncaring. Made a comment to bar manager where my concerns went ignored. Several times we have made attempts to sit in different sections only to be met again with rudeness and hostility. If you cannot be mice to your customers hen I suggest finding a different line of work. read more

This place came highly recommended by some locals, and we were not disappointed! We were there for an NFL game which was perfect, because there are literally TVs EVERYWHERE. There was a decent selection of local craft beers and typical bar food on the menu. They also have a pretty much full menu of Taco Treat. The service was amazing, our waitress took really good care of us. On a whim I played $20 in one of the machines and won $770!! Not a bad night!! I've never seen so many tv's before! I always pop in to the Halftime when I'm in Great Falls... Especially now that they have the taco treat menu. I was visiting GF for a couple weeks this summer and would hang out here, sit at the bar and work away on my computer (they have free wifi!!) I also have been to Karaoke and Bingo here which was a rad time! (plus I went home with some $$) Servers were super nice! It seems like they get a lot of big groups there as there are tons of tables and super spacious. I am sure if I was a big sports watcher and still lived in GF, I be here all the time. Whoever the bartender is on Friday and Saturday nights I love her and so does anyone I've brought in!! I've only come in a few times but we usually do after a few beers for some late night food. Prompt friendly service and the food is amazing!! You can tell whoever is in the kitchen takes the time to do it right and make it look nice. Everything is hot and delicious! This has replaced other diners in the area as our new eating spot on weekend nights! I love this place and will be dragging all my friends in with me to witness the glory of your ribs that just melt right off the bone! Keep up the good work!!! read more
