Wanted a quick bit leaving town but didn't want the usual "fast food", these place is better than their avg stars. Quick and yummy burgers, and TATER TOTS! Hello! Plus they basically said "we can almost make any shake, what did you like"...say less! Perfect stop before the highway! Great old drive up vibe, gave me burger master, a&w meets Dicks (if you from Seattle) feels. Thank you! read more

Ford's Drive In - Menu - Burgers Near Me - Great Falls, Montana

We liked the fast food restaurant but it's been a few years since we ate there. Good burgers and fries and shakes.

This is a classic drive-in restaurant with the ambiance to match. The service was excellent. The food about average. It wasn't bad at all; it just wasn't anything that I would say is special. If your hankering for a burger and shake or something similar, this is a good place to go. Four stars for the service and ambiance. Three for the food. read more

July 24, 2025. Sat at the bench & waited for the waitress. We watched as she took an order from a golden VW Beetle. She turns & makes eye contact with us & goes back inside. A Toyota Truck pulls up. She comes back out & proceeds to take the Toyota trucks order. At this point we have been sitting for 5+ minutes. BS. Some people don't have all day to wait. read more

My husband's cheese burger was so good, my corn dog was so good like the fair's, they hand dip the hotdogs, Yum, our fries were good. The service was great, keep in mind they cook to order so it takes a little longer, be patient. the young lady was so sweet and polite, did I tell you they come to your car to take your order and they bring your food. read more

They keep it simple but the food is great!! We had cheeseburgers, fish and chips, onion rings, fried egg sandwich, and egg salad sandwich--everything was delicious. We try to eat here every time we are in Great Falls. Have to mention the amazing service--always thoughtful and friendly. But need to remember NO CREDIT CARDS, you need cash. read more

Ford's Drive In - No credit cards--just cash and local checks. - Burgers Near Me - Great Falls, Montana

One of the best deals in town I stopped here for lunch sometimes I'll have the loaded pork chop sandwich other times I'll just have a double cheeseburger but one of the most reasonable meals is their clubhouse sandwich comes with french fries I drink for $8.75 I left $1.25 tip for $10 and it's a lot of single people go eat by themselves and their car. It's a great place good service. read more

Ford's is a blast from the past. The food is amazing! Service is quick and dependable. We've been gone from GF for a few years now but we still talk about Ford's frequently. read more

The food and service is amazing! Ford's drive in is a hidden gem when it comes to restaurants i rate it 9.5/10.

Nope! The place had one person waiting on cars. Kind of felt sorry for her she was literally running. The Porky was so so. The Hamburger was less than so so. The large fries were a joke. $5.50 for an order of large fries that were smaller than most places small fries. Potatoes are dirt cheap you need to overflow the tray with fries. The only thing that was good that I might go back for would be the Dr. Pepper malt. I had heard many great things about this place. A must stop when in Great Falls kind of place. I finally made it to Great Falls and was pumped up about going there. Never again. Been there done that and wasted the money! read more

The food hasn't changed... still ok. But oh those shakes. Tried the Huckleberry Shake with our lunch, and it was almost as good as their Green River Shake (which they were out of... covid strikes again). The car-hop service makes this a great place to grab a quick bite during these screwed-up times. Stay healthy all and enjoy life. Don't let a bug rule your existence. read more

I remembered this place from the last time I've been to Great Falls and decided to swing by. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe, fries, and a lemonade. The portions are like some other fast food places like McDonalds, etc. My food come out fast and the waitress was nice. The burger was good and was generous with sauces, and fries were crispy. I did ask for sauce for fries and did not get any and I got a milkshake instead of lemonade. The shake was good though and they were busy so I did not complain. Sorry to the person who got lemonade instead of a milkshake, lol (I would be a bit disappointed if that were me) I would recommend and will be coming back! read more

Food was great, even for them being out of strips. Lady who ran our food out can use a little enthusiasm or energy as she came off pretty snobby when asking "do you want your change" after giving our total. No have a nice day or thank you. Other than that, they make pretty dang good food everytime we come. read more

How does this place not have higher reviews?? A classic 50s drive up burger joint with prices to match! Less than $4.00 for cheeseburgers? For three of us to get double cheeseburgers fries and milkshakes we spent under $30 and it was delicious! The burger was tasty and fresh with a soft squishy bun and plenty of cheese. The fries were crisp and hot and served with the cutest smile! The milkshakes were thick creamy and perfect with the burgers. This place is definitely worth 5 stars and you should check it out! read more

A cheeseburger and a huckleberry shake was the way to go at a old fashion drive in with carhops on roller skates well maybe not but it still brought back memories. The burger tastes better than back in the day read more

Everything you could want from a good old fashioned drive in. Hand cut fries, with a cute smiley potato thrown in for cuteness points. The menu is pretty straight forward. Burgers, chicken sandwich, fish sandwich and a couple other simple sandwiches. Fries onion rings and tots. Tons of shake flavors. Wouldn't hurt to add some healthier items like chicken or steak pitas, but I understand that sometimes simple is better, and quality over quantity. Prices are way cheaper than most places and the burgers are probably one of the best in Great Falls. The patties are very thin, like a smash burger, the buns could use a little work- my top bun was pretty smooshed but other than that, it was great. Why go to McDonalds when you could support a long lasting family business that has been a staple in Great Falls forever, and it tastes better too. If you're in GF and you want a dang good burger, Fords drive in is the place to go. read more

Great Falls, Montana --- "Ford's Drive-In" is about nostalgia, car-hop service & lousy food ... my hot dog was dry & tasteless & lacked substance (terrible presentation) ... all bread and no meat! Even stingy on onions & mustard ... my 1st visit = my last visit ... the car-hop was a good server ... young, perky, efficient and energetic! "Run-A-Way Bill" was here! 07.02.16 read more

The classic dine-in-your-car is alive and well at Ford's Drive In. The burgers and fries are great and those car servers really do hustle. Skip the hot dog, sliced weenie on a hamburger bun. Very strange! The huckleberry shake was good and the hamburger was average. Too bad, this is the last original hamburger joint in Great Falls. Time to step up and really make an unforgettable product. It's not too late..... read more

I enjoy their burgers and shakes, but they have become ridiculously slow. Three of my last four visits have been painfully slow. Last week it took 40 minutes to get a shake, a burger, and fries. Today I just wanted a shake, but after sitting for 15 minutes and not even having my order taken, I decided to leave. They need to rework their system! read more

I liked this place a lot, we stopped in and grabbed a hamburger and a shake from the server on our way out of town. It was hot and good, and we were only disappointed we didn't have more cash on hand to try out more of their selection. read more

Local beef, locally owned, locally operated, inexpensive and phuking awesome. What more can you ask for.

First off we love supporting local places. But terrible terrible service, we ordered 2 milkshakes and a small fry. Waited 27 minutes and still nothing! Finally told them to cancel our order and we left, this would be the 3rd time that we have had a s****y experience there. Will not return. read more

A 50s drive in complete with carhops sounded like too much fun to miss. I loved the classic building and neon signs but that that's where the love ended. The milkshake I'd looked forward to was thin and barely had any flavour. My friend's burger had no condiments and a tiny burnt patty. This took an hour but a local we parked next to waited an hour and a half only to have his order wrong twice. He told us the food and service could be great but today was one of their bad days. Sorry we missed a better one. read more

Slow service but I'm guessing the need help because there was a help wanted sign. Seen several cars drive off since they didn't want to wait. My hot dog was served on a hamburger bun, I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if they ran out of hot dog buns. It tasted like a store bought hotdog thrown on a stovetop for a little and in a bun. The hamburgers were decent although it's nothing super special and can easily be made at home. Not too sure about this place but I'll come back and try the shakes next time read more

I'm visiting from out of town so I'm eager to try different places that aren't back home. I saw this and was immediately intrigued just cause it was a drive in. The menu was kind of hard to read but I managed. Me and my boyfriend ended up just getting a burger and fries and oh my! It was soo good!! It reminded me of the southern diners back home in NC. The medium drink was kind of small but it done the job. The fries were so good, and we both got one round smiley fry also; it was cute haha. I would absolutely go here again! Next time I'm up this is going to be my go to place. Service was friendly and nice. They closed at 8 and we got there about 7:30, which I felt bad about, but they had at least 5 more cars pull up before 8 so that showed me how in demand they are. 10 stars all around!!! read more

Despite getting our order wrong, they insisted that we pay an extra $7 for our chicken meal, and we didn't get to keep the chicken fingers that were mistakenly brought to us! Bunch of shady people running this place! We will NEVER go here again! read more

Great burgers. It is what you would expect or maybe better said, hope for from a small drive in. The burgers were juicy and delicious. Lots of shake choices (We had root beer) Fantastic service, the waitress was literally jogging from car to inside to get everyone's order. One star deducted (barely) for average onion rings. Make this a stop if your are in Great Falls read more
