This is a classic drive-in restaurant with the ambiance to match. The service was excellent. The food about average. It wasn't bad at all; it just wasn't anything that I would say is special. July 24, 2025. Sat at the bench & waited for the waitress. We watched as she took an order from a golden VW Beetle. She turns & makes eye contact with us & goes back inside. A Toyota Truck pulls up. One of the best deals in town I stopped here for lunch sometimes I'll have the loaded pork chop sandwich other times I'll just have a double cheeseburger but one of the most reasonable meals is their clubhouse sandwich comes with french fries I drink for $8.75 I left $1.25 tip for $10 and it's a lot of single people go eat by themselves and their car. Nope! The place had one person waiting on cars. Kind of felt sorry for her she was literally running. The Porky was so so. The Hamburger was less than so so. The large fries were a joke. $5.50 for an order of large fries that were smaller than most places small fries. Potatoes are dirt cheap you need to overflow the tray with fries. The only thing that was good that I might go back for would be the Dr. Pepper malt. I had heard many great things about this place. A must stop when in Great Falls kind of place. I remembered this place from the last time I've been to Great Falls and decided to swing by. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe, fries, and a lemonade. The portions are like some other fast food places like McDonalds, etc. My food come out fast and the waitress was nice. The burger was good and was generous with sauces, and fries were crispy. I did ask for sauce for fries and did not get any and I got a milkshake instead of lemonade. The shake was good though and they were busy so I did not complain. Sorry to the person who got lemonade instead of a milkshake, lol (I would be a bit disappointed if that were me) I would recommend and will be coming back! read more

For three of us to get double cheeseburgers fries and milkshakes we spent under $30 and it was delicious! The burger was tasty and fresh with a soft squishy bun and plenty of cheese. The fries were crisp and hot and served with the cutest smile! The milkshakes were thick creamy and perfect with the burgers. Everything you could want from a good old fashioned drive in. Hand cut fries, with a cute smiley potato thrown in for cuteness points. The menu is pretty straight forward. Burgers, chicken sandwich, fish sandwich and a couple other simple sandwiches. Fries onion rings and tots. Tons of shake flavors. Wouldn't hurt to add some healthier items like chicken or steak pitas, but I understand that sometimes simple is better, and quality over quantity. Prices are way cheaper than most places and the burgers are probably one of the best in Great Falls. The patties are very thin, like a smash burger, the buns could use a little work- my top bun was pretty smooshed but other than that, it was great. Why go to McDonalds when you could support a long lasting family business that has been a staple in Great Falls forever, and it tastes better too. If you're in GF and you want a dang good burger, Fords drive in is the place to go. read more

The classic dine-in-your-car is alive and well at Ford's Drive In. The burgers and fries are great and those car servers really do hustle. There is usually a lot of cars there waiting to be served but I found the wait to be very little. And oh their shakes... SUPERB!!! A 50s drive in complete with carhops sounded like too much fun to miss. I loved the classic building and neon signs but that that's where the love ended. The milkshake I'd looked forward to was thin and barely had any flavour. My friend's burger had no condiments and a tiny burnt patty. This took an hour but a local we parked next to waited an hour and a half only to have his order wrong twice. He told us the food and service could be great but today was one of their bad days. Slow service but I'm guessing the need help because there was a help wanted sign. Seen several cars drive off since they didn't want to wait. My hot dog was served on a hamburger bun, I'm not sure if that's how it's supposed to be or if they ran out of hot dog buns. It tasted like a store bought hotdog thrown on a stovetop for a little and in a bun. The hamburgers were decent although it's nothing super special and can easily be made at home. The menu was kind of hard to read but I managed. Me and my boyfriend ended up just getting a burger and fries and oh my! It was soo good!! It reminded me of the southern diners back home in NC. The medium drink was kind of small but it done the job. The fries were so good, and we both got one round smiley fry also; it was cute haha. I would absolutely go here again! Next time I'm up this is going to be my go to place. Service was friendly and nice.
