The service was good for a Wednesday morning. While much of the hotel and bar has been "retro-vated" to reflect its 1960s origins, the restaurant hasn't changed. We popped in for breakfast or brunch, on a Sunday morning and the place was packed! We sat at the bar and it stayed packed until a little after 12. I didn't catch our server's name, but she was awesome and makes GREAT Bloody Marys! We both got the traditional eggs Benedict. Large slices of ham, perfectly poached eggs, and a delicious hollandaise, which was being held at too high a temp because it was starting to break. For the price and for the value, it's hard to beat Clark and Lewie's located in the O'Haire in a Montana institution since the early 1960s when I was born right here in Great Falls, Montana I spent two nights staying at the OHaire and the service was fantastic and when nighttime comes, just walk up the stairs to the sip and dip lounge. We stopped at this place thinking we wanted a simple breakfast. The waitress was horrible with no ability to smile. The prices were outrageously high. My corned beef hash breakfast didn't come with hash browns, which is odd, but the additional cost was $6! The breakfast itself was already $15. Hubby loved the spaghetti. My steak initially came out undercooked, but they happily took it back to the kitchen for a couple minutes more and then it was perfect. One of our favorites. Been coming here for years and will miss this restaurant when we move next month. Our go-to for breakfast but lunch and dinner is always great too. Upscale and excellent up-scale dinner fare, I love the Caramelized French toast and my husband enjoys the Benedict's and the corned beef. First time in GF. Thank you to those that yelped feedback on this place. Didn't disappoint. Adelia was my server and she was a one woman show. Please be kind about wait times as they do one thing at a time. The food. Okay I know I am a picky SOB but they delivered. Rib eye steak dinner, Mac and cheese, and Cesar salad. Things I'd change: nothing on the rib eye. Mac n cheese needs to be hot like the steak. A little too much dressing in the salad but it was fresh and crisp. That is a bonus. Food was mid at best. Obviously just frozen stuff tossed on a plate (which I was warned was hot but it wasn't even lukewarm after the long wait). The servers were all just standing around behind the bar arguing with each other. And with people elsewhere in the hotel over the phone. It took forever to order just a drink (I almost left and should have), forever to get a drink, to get food, to even pay. While several wait staff were just standing around or reorganizing sauces another told them not to do (another argument to spectate). The restaurant is tiny so I guess the wait staff's personal drama is the entertainment or something, it's impossible to avoid. The prices are astronomical. Everything is priced like you're at a celebrity chef's Michelin Star resort restaurant, when this is a little hole in the wall. Literally some of the most expensive in town, when it otherwise advertises itself as a quaint diner. The only reason it's open is probably because it's in a hotel, thus no caring about repeat business. Just exploits tourists for all their worth, and probably some regulars that know no better. It was just a rather depressing and overly costly experience. Fast food is a better option. read more

We went for breakfast and I was not impressed...even though my friend loves this place. She had the eggs Benedict, her favorite. It was ok. I liked the hollandaise sauce, but it was a bit too salty for me. I had the Southern Benedict, which was like sausage and biscuits with a poached egg and sausage added to it. It was actually pretty good. For me, the downfall was their hash browns. They were soggy and greasy and definitely not the way I like hash browns. The service was good. They actually brought us the wrong dish at first but fixed the error quickly and were very apologetic. They were also very helpful with a spill and some other issues. This restaurant also provides food for the bar in the same hotel. The bar food was great and the service as well. So, I would try them again for lunch or dinner...and maybe even breakfast. I just won't order hash browns. read more

Yum! If you stay at the OHaire, you get a nice voucher for breakfast which is greatly appreciated! It shares the menu with the Sip N Dip. It was such a cozy diner and the red chairs are really comfy. The scrambled eggs (no cheese) was really really yum, I should have ordered more! Lol! I accidentally dropped my cup and it broke and the staff was SO QUICK to clean up and replaced my drink. Visiting a friend in Great Falls and we had breakfast this morning at Clark and Lewie's on 7 th Street South. This is a small place but great staff and good coffee. We had the spicy sausage breakfast skillet and she had the corned beef has. They were pretty busy so it took a little while to get our food but worth the wait. Service and portions were great. We didn't eat in the restaurant but they do provide food and runners to the Sip & Dip which is co-located in the O'Haire Motor Inn. I came for the first time tonight with my family. The fish and chips were so yummy! My kids enjoyed the chicken tenders and BLT. Their Cajun chicken wrap was also wonderful! Fries were delicious. Our waitress was so nice. It's a cozy little spot and very comfortable. We did ask for a side of Mac n cheese and they gave us French fries instead, but they seemed to be very busy. We didn't ask them to fix the mistake. 10/10 would recommend! read more

Great. Busy as hell - as expected for a Sunday. Food came quick and was good. Portion size was large. Staff attentive to us and friendly

We were staying at the hotel and decided to try the restaurant as we had been driving all day and were just tired and hungry on a too hot day. The food took a very long time to arrive and one of the meals came 10 minutes after the the rest as the cook was making a batch of "corn relish" for the fish tacos which turned out to be heavy mayo coleslaw with corn kernels dumped in it. The chorizo and eggs were burned beyond recognition and I can't believe they served the scorched mess anyway. The lucky member of our party who ordered fish and chips found a weird blue stain on one piece of fish and one was pretty much all breading. Go to the mermaid bar for a sugary cocktail but DO NOT EAT HERE! read more

My wife and I are in Great Falls about twice a month to visit her Dad who lives there. We try different restaurants so that we know where to go to get good food and service. The food at Clark and Lewie's (at the O'Haire Motor Inn) is surprisingly good, as is service, so it's now on our preferred list of restaurants in Great Falls. They probably have the best chicken wings in town. Plus, it's the location of the Sip 'n' Dip Lounge where we can have a drink after dinner. read more
