Bun fresh baked, fresh avocado and grilled mushrooms. Even the way they wrapped it was perfect to prevent stuff from slipping out. And I have not clue how the pulled off the feat of keeping it hot during the entire time I ate the burger and I am not a slow eater. Not a good burger, a GREAT burger. There are chicken and black bean sandwich options as well as sauces galore. The service was excellent! And the building was, well, very cool. Log cabin and knotty pine and log poles. I loved it all.

The omelet was good but the potatoes with onion were better! Hubby said the coffee was good and didn't need chemicals; my iced tea was good, too, and I can be picky about my tea. The waitress was very friendly and we felt right at home.

I ended up going on my own, and came back with colleagues the last night of our trip as it's a must stop. As I'm sure we all know, what makes it fun and unique is the dancing Mermaid performances in the pool behind the bar. Such a cool concept to watch them entertain you while you enjoy a good drink. My first time in the bartender was fantastic and giving me all the history of the place, and how the pool used to just be the hotels' actual swimming pool, and guests would swim in it, no Thank you. I ordered the cranberry cherry limeade, not realizing that it was basically a bucket full of booze, equivalent to three drinks (not complaining, just forewarning) also enjoyed chatting with the bartender about how the place is haunted. Definitely gives off that vibe and total dive bar/tiki feel. I'd come back every time I'm in this town or on a road trip. 21+---although they allowed a few families to come in with kids for a minute and get a picture by the mermaids, which I thought was super cool. And yes, you can tip the maids too! I didn't get any food from the restaurant, but I heard from a few it wasn't amazing so I think this is just a dive drinking spot for me.

After waiting for over an hour after ordering and watching people that came in after us not only get their food and finishing, we still didnt have our food. When we asked when it would be ready, we kept being told it was next. Frustrated, we decided to leave, still not getting our food. The staff was rude, disrespectful, and horrible to deal with. I wish they would have been honest and told us the order had gotten missed. Dont waist your time or money on this place. read more
