I rolled through with my sister, niece, and her two little ones, and ordered what I can only describe as a light-on-the-sugar, heavy-on-the-satisfaction mocha. I didn't want dessert in a cup--I wanted coffee with a whisper of chocolate, and somehow, they nailed it. I don't know what kind of magic beans or chocolate they're using, but it was the most satisfying mocha I've had in... let's just say, a long time. First time I got a 12 or maybe a 16 oz. The second time? Leveled up. Straight to the 20 oz. No regrets. The crew at the drive-thru are total gems--funny, friendly, and somehow manage to be both quick and precise. And yes, they give you a little Tootsie Roll with your drink, which is exactly the kind of joyful nonsense I live for. Amy's Morning Perk was one of the biggest heart breaks that I felt moving out of Great Falls. It was the last thing I had when I left. The military brought my husband and I to Great Falls in 2011, at the time I couldn't find anywhere that offered Almond Milk, it just wasn't popular yet. When I discovered Amy's (which I could literally walk to from my apartment) I was in love. Amy is a literal angel, and the service there is always amazing. The food and coffee is amazing. The best breakfast I had on this roadtrip! It was actually a simple bagel, egg, and ham sandwich but it was cooked to perfection! They also had great iced coffee! They do drive through but the inside has various cool clothing and souvenirs. Small and local owned. I was actually surprised by the variety on their menu. I was treated and served by Bee and she was so helpful. She made the worry of trying to figure out a new place a breeze! They are very flexible with how you would specifically want your drink or food. Add a little something or leave a little something out...she even let me try my drink to make sure it was the way I wanted before leaving. I almost never post reviews, but this place was too good not to share! We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Glacier National Park. We have stopped into a lot of random places over the years and this definitely makes my top five! What an amazing find! The place itself is warm and welcoming - like hanging out in someone's kitchen! The woman who took care of us was friendly and super efficient. She worked extra hard to accommodate our "hold this" and "add that" requests! Everything we ordered was amazing - from the coffee to the smoothies to the homemade quiche and breakfast burrito. I wish I took pictures! I wish we had a place like this back home! i usually love this place but this morning was awful! the older redhead was incredibly rude and condescending to my 14 year old for asking if they had vitamin water, after she saw a sticker for them on the fridge. immediately this woman starts berating her and being so unbelievably aggressive about some vitamin water? her reaction was very uncalled for as we were just excited to stop by before school and never said or did anything rude. she was borderline yelling at my daughter. overall i've never been so disappointed, especially by one of my local coffee shops that i used to love. my daughter started her first day of freshman year nearly crying because of how aggressive this woman was. not cool! read more

These folks are extremely upbeat, the coffee is coffee, the place is clean and cheerful and full of Montana charm. The breakfast-lunch items are limited so they can focus on a few things with fresh ingredients and do them well. It's not fussy, it's not over-filling, and it's reliable. You can get a cheesey/sausagey breakfast sandwich or an egg whites and pesto kind of thing. Lunch is similarly straightforward.
